Hey 3D Rundown. Great Video! I wish I had seen it before I started my unboxing and setting up of the P1P. They make a great product but leave out details in their pamphlet. Note: i got this same package and my hotend nozzle was NOT loose. It was in a pretty package tucked away in the corner. Im sorry to say you got the short end of the stick but it does not seem to be normal practice 👍
Do you have to test the philment every time you want to print something? Or is that just for the set up? Also once you finish your first print and wanna continue.. Do you have to set the printer head back to the end so it can dispose the starting test string thingy? 😅 Sorry im new!
No, I throw everything at these printers!! I am not a calibration kinda guy. I slap it in, and send it!! If there is an issue, THEN, I will deal with it. Excellent video, wish I had found it before my unboxing! I missed the part about leaving the foam in place during setup… there were no *noticeable* consequences. (Hope I didn’t cause a rip in spacetime or initiate a countdown to Armageddon or whatnot.) And wow, this thing really flies.
@@spendmoney303 Don’t worry, this thing is a BEAST. Just be sure to use the glue stick religiously. Other than that, it’s practically foolproof… which is a good thing for me 😀
I've been running one with, and one without. I have nearly identicle success with both. However, should you want to really push your speeds, or work with some of the more difficult materials, having the fan can help.
@@3DRundown but the print head has a cooling fan right? Isn't that auxiliary fan bolted to the frame? It's not going to blow on the nozzle point ? The bed moves up and down so most of the time the fan won't be blowing anywhere near the print head. I thought it might be pointed at the main board so if you enclose the printer the main board doesn't overheat. Oh wait, the bed moves down. The print head stays at the same level. Still if you're just blowing air from the side in a general area it's probably more like a draft which is the opposite of what you want. In an ideal world you want air blasting at the molten plastic to freeze it as fast as possible and then absolutely no air moving at all so the part cools slowly and prevents warping.
You did not have to feed the filament that way anymore. You use the feed function, and the hot end will heat up to 250, and then you push done, and you're good to go.
It's a P1P... There is only one place on the planet to get it. The Bambu Lab store.... When they decide to approve my affiliate application, (or even respond to ANYTHING) I'll link to it.
What timing! My P1P was delivered today. Didn't notice the packing screw at the back of the bed which led to some alarming noises. Didn't seem to cause any damage. Just a note for viewers, if this is your first use of Bambu Handy, remember to log in BEFORE trying to bind the printer or you'll get a 401 error.
Did your camera work automatically? Mine worked many months ago when I first got it but now requires IP address and access code... I cant find any "access code" to save my life.
I have a question about this printer, can you control everything of this printer on the App for the iPhone? I don’t like the little simple screen of the P1P
Cool thanks! Another question. When this finishes a print does it keep the fans at full rpm? my current cheap one does and was just wondering if this does@@3DRundown
The green glue is absolutely amazing. It's best used on Smooth PEI (and even glass!). Hold like hell, but protects the pei from damage during print removal.

F*ck. The Butterfly effect you've initiated in the Multi-Verse will have countless unforeseen Consequences.
i did the same lmao. I just got mine now. Did you have any issues?
@@spendmoney303 Don’t worry, this thing is a BEAST. Just be sure to use the glue stick religiously. Other than that, it’s practically foolproof… which is a good thing for me 😀
Thanks!
Thanks for the Super Thanks!!
do you advise to buy the fan or is it not needed?
I've been running one with, and one without. I have nearly identicle success with both. However, should you want to really push your speeds, or work with some of the more difficult materials, having the fan can help.
Thanks for sharing. Warm regards from Brazil
Welcome! Greetings from NJ USA
Silly question, but where did you get the rotating table from? Would love one to put my P1P on. Thanks!
A garage sale! I have no clue what it is, but it's awesome. I suspect is was part of a TV stand
Did u ever find something similar? I am looking for one as well
I love you so much for this video :)
And I love you for being here. Welcome
What's the point of the auxiliary fan?
I see lots of videos about installing it but not any info about why you would want it.
Increased cooling allows for shorter minimum layer times, and better overhangs, especially at fast speeds, do to faster layer cooling
That works, but, I followed the instruction manual, which still calls for this method. I have to assume peeps watching may be referencing the manual.
They give you green pla now:)
I got it. No clue what. To do with it. But I got it. 😂
damn that thing goes fast
Yea, the K1's and P1's boogie
So many links in the description yet non are for the thing you are unboxing
It's a P1P... There is only one place on the planet to get it. The Bambu Lab store.... When they decide to approve my affiliate application, (or even respond to ANYTHING) I'll link to it.
What timing! My P1P was delivered today. Didn't notice the packing screw at the back of the bed which led to some alarming noises. Didn't seem to cause any damage. Just a note for viewers, if this is your first use of Bambu Handy, remember to log in BEFORE trying to bind the printer or you'll get a 401 error.
Ah yea, those 3 screws are a tad important!! Yea, gonna want to be sure you have an account and log in!
Can you replace the display screen with the one that comes with the X-1 Carbon?
No. Hoping at some point they will offer us an upgrade
Did your camera work automatically? Mine worked many months ago when I first got it but now requires IP address and access code... I cant find any "access code" to save my life.
The code will be on the screen of the P1P. But if you let it sit on that screen for a min, it often clears itself
@@3DRundown Thanks, it shows up now all of the sudden lol
I have a question about this printer, can you control everything of this printer on the App for the iPhone? I don’t like the little simple screen of the P1P
I haven't touched the screen since I built the printer.
@@3DRundown so, that’s it’s a yes? I’m going to order one this Friday! I can’t wait
Yup! Everything is done via the BAMBU STUDIO or BAMBU HANDY
Is this printer able to be pluged directly into a pc? Just ordered one so was wondering how close to place it to my pc
You will do everything via WIFi/Online with Bambu Studio. No need for PC connections at all
Cool thanks! Another question. When this finishes a print does it keep the fans at full rpm? my current cheap one does and was just wondering if this does@@3DRundown
No, but, on some models, the fans will run to cool down the hot end, in order to avoid "heat creep". The K1's for example, do this for a bit.
Can we print with multi colours..?!?

@@3DRundown Thank you sir
What is the glue for?
The green glue is absolutely amazing. It's best used on Smooth PEI (and even glass!). Hold like hell, but protects the pei from damage during print removal.
How do I upload my own STL designs I have them on a USB stick
STL files need to be sliced to GCODE using Bambu Studio.
This has auto leveling right?
Auto everything
What is I removed the foam before calibration?
