I have a 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage limited addition. And It’s a great little car. It doesn’t feel like a tiny car to me. It has a nice balanced level from the ground.

I wish Mtisubishi did more high end models of this little hatch. It actually could have been extremely cool as an upgraded hot hatch. But I guess you would have to take your route and just do it yourself. Which if you have the money and knowledge to do it can be a fun car project. Especially with a base manual model going for a measly 10k.
These seem like they would be fun on some canyon roads with some suspension upgrades and wider tires. This is as close to a japanese kei car we are going to get in the states.

These engines can actually do quite a bit. Proper sized turbo, intake/exhaust, you can hit 150-160hp which is insane considering how light the car is.
Did you do any of the things mentioned to this car? I'd love to see updates! I just bought a 2020 Mirage 4 days ago!!

@@spence6144 I know the deal, mods don’t exist so we had to fabricate them. We did front and rear sway bars, strut bar etc all by hand.

I wish Mitsubishi offered another engine size with more HP. Like the geo metro got the 1.0 3 cyl and the 1.3 4 cylinder
What type of filament did you use for the 3d printed part? And, is it possible that I could get that file from you, would love to put a cold air intake on my 2018 Mirage. I have the same color, thinking DBZ custom stuff will be needed.

And the fuel injectors are supposed to click like that. That means they're working.

What is the gold wrapping you used to keep the intake and headers cool? I bought the same 3D printed MAF on amazon about a year back and saw the picture that I now know was yours that I’ve seen this video. I tried to ask you the question by posting it on the item it’s self, but didn’t get a response.

How much money are you putting toward modding this car? I feel like Hyundai Accent isn't that much more than a Mirage... Unless, you just love car modding, which I get.

I have a 2020 Mitsubishi mirage es hatch, do you know if there by chance are any turbo systems/kits that'll work on it what so ever? I was hoping to at least get a small turbo setup on it.
No direct turbo kit available. But you could boost it. There’s a dude who did a turbo from an Audi a4 and pushed 10psi for close to 150hp he’s since upgraded the cooling vents in the head to push for 300

I have a 2019 mirage rf. I was wondering if there is an easy way to change the radio head unit. I want to use apple CarPlay but I don’t know how hard or even if I can change the stock one in it.

Base hp is like a paltry 76 horses. How fast can, say, stage 1 or 2 street legal engine mods/turbo kits/etc get these up to and still keep them running efficiently as daily drivers?

Some aftermarket supercharger kits show +30whp, though betting fuel economy would tank.
You gain one, lose the other. Keep it Stock. Enhance handling. If it is a CVT you definitely should not modify it. I almost bought a new end of year 17 manual sane burnt orange, but base, for $9599. Great value

Their development budget exceeds yours by several hundred million dollars. I seriously doubt any backyard mods are gonna help that much. If anything, it'll decrease the drivability and efficiency. Just leave it alone and drive it.
