Why is that?
Great video. I had no idea that the favorites feature actually saved the *value* of each parameter! Wow. This really suits how my brain works. For each effect I might only have 1 or 2 sounds that I really love and will always come back to, and this avoids having to dial it in each time! And having a custom name is the icing on the cake. I didn't know this was possible at all. I always thought it was simply a place to "bookmark" your favorite effects to quickly access them.

I love all the effects on this except the fuzzes. I get the most usable fuzz sounds (for me) from the Horizon Drive.
This a great breakdown Budda. Thankyou. This was the solution I was looking for in terms of different sound organisation. I just hope I am happy with the tone I get from this unit, but you have me pretty convinced.

Hey, thanks for this video. Just discovered your channel today - I've got a Stomp and an HX Effects (odd combination but I had the HXFX first and wanted to add the amp sims). I fun the HXFX into the Stomp with the HXFX doing most of the heavy lifting in terms of effects, and I really love the way you think about the HXFX (the banks and snapshot multiplication). I've discovered this at a perfect time as I've just factory reset both of my units and will be using your approach to rebuild everything in both units.

what happened to yr video, what's with all the flashing? Thanks for the vid, I'm slowly getting into my HXFX, but I find it distracting, rather be playing than fiddling, I guess I'll get there eventually!
It was a problem with my Final Cut, that I only noticed too late.
As for the hx effects as with all the gear, we need to put the time into it and the. Enjoy it. Tools require skills too. And this is a very powerful, so complex tool to deal with

I never use that method it’s only useful if you use a lot of gain on the amp
I used to have the HX Effects and ran it in 4 cable. It sucked tone. I really need the flexibility of this pedal and I'm wondering if there is a fix for the tone loss? Maybe a buffer somewhere?
I have no tone loss at all.
A polytune 3 has a built in buffer.

Did you manage to solve that noise/hum that we can hear in the video? Btw, great video, it helped me a lot. Also having that noise issue.
The noise issue is related to te computer Beijing connected to the hx
@@BuddaGuedes , are you using 4 cable method with Mesa Boogie Lonestar from behind you? If you are, do you have some noise problems with 4 cm?

Great video. Are you still using the hx? I love mine. Some days I’m not sure about the drives and other days I find them amazing. It’s odd. I think all the talk of “digital drives suck” gets in your head and makes you over think the tone a bit.
I’m still not convinced with the drives but I use it all the time and I love the HX EFFECTS

Thanks for the video. Is is possible to run this directly to my mixing board and PA I stead of running it through an electric amp? I play acoustic and electric with a looper and trying to get a pedal that will give me clean channels and also some cool effects for my tele but I don't want to pack my fender amp alone with the PA system. Any thoughts?
This doesn’t have amp simulator. For that purpose the best solution would be the HX STOMP XL
It is somehow possible by downloading some IR to it

@@BuddaGuedes acredito. Fui dono de uma helix e a qualidade dos drives é estupenda. Essa hx tem a mesma base e acredito agora, ter os mesmos algoritmos.

Not at all!!! It just takes a while to get used to
Your fx setup can be as simple or as complex as you want! Not only within the HXFX itself, with its myriad routing and i/o options, but also with external switching and controls, not to mention MIDI. It's nuts, really, a geekfest! 😆
