@E.L.M Tree McGee I know this is not possible but I always wonder what would happen if DreamWorks and Pixar teamed up for a movie series? What would it be like?
Honestly, I would've put Hiccup at the top, probably because I'm taking the shows into account as well. He has such a pure heart to the point where he will do anything to make sure that dragon's aren't harmed. Even when it seems like that's the only option, he will bend over backwards and risk everything to make sure they stay safe. He is also very strong mentally, enduring some very traumatic experiences like watching someone fall into a volcano or seeing an entire group of seemingly dead dragons, and yet he doesn't suffer any mental problems like PTSD. He is above killing of any kind no matter what, even when he finds the person responsible for the aforementioned group of dead dragons. He may despise his enemies, but will still try and save their lives. A good example of this is when one of the villains from Race to the Edge, Viggo, threatens to kill Astrid if Hiccup doesn't give him what he wants, an old relic of Viggo's ancestors called the Dragon Eye. When Hiccup throws it into the volcano instead, Viggo goes after it and accidentally falls in, with Hiccup immediately rushing to try and save him, despite Viggo threatening to kill Astrid moments before. He is also very forgiving of his enemies when they have a change of heart. When he and Toothless are trapped on an island, an old enemy named Dagur (who hates Hiccup and wants to kill him so much that he has Hiccup's name as part of a hit list he has tattooed on his arm) surprisingly helps rescue them and the two reconcile and Hiccup even becomes Dagur's best man at his wedding. Similarly, when Viggo miraculously survives falling into the volcano and is betrayed by his superiors, he goes to Hiccup for help. Hiccup doesn't trust him at first since he pulled the exact same thing as part of a ruse to defeat him and the other dragon riders. But over the course of their adventure, Viggo, who is a seasoned and masterful dragon hunter, shows signs of genuine change, claiming once that he would never torture a dragon now. But his time really comes in the climax, when Hiccup bursts out in anger at Viggo for apparently double crossing them, but does a complete 180 and shows genuine concern for him when he realizes Viggo has four arrows lodged in his back and even refuses to leave him alone when Viggo offers to sacrifice himself. After all the dragons and people Viggo has hurt and killed, all the times he's used the riders and tried to kill them as well, Hiccup eventually forgives him and the two almost become friends before Viggo sacrifices himself to save Hiccup and Toothless. Hiccup has really no flaws that I can think of (aside from his slight arrogance in the third film when he believes Berk is untouchable because Toothless is the alpha) and even though his experiences in both the shows and movies push him both physically and mentally, he is able to stay strong and stick to his moral code no matter what. (Edit) I actually just remembered, in that same episode where Viggo sacrifices himself for Hiccup, when they first meet, Hiccup actually attacks Viggo with his fire sword and considering he had no idea that Viggo was armed and could defend himself, that's probably the only time Hiccup wasn't above killing. This is the first time Hiccul has seen Viggo since he presumably died and that brings back all these harsh memories of everything Viggo has done, all the mind games he's played with Hiccup, all the deception and the killing, and it's really the only time Hiccup is out for blood because he has just had it with Viggo. Viggo's actually trying to defuse the situation and Hiccup keeps attacking him with these big, powerful swings and all Viggo's doing are these defensive blocks with his own sword. The fact that Hiccup does a complete 180 on his character from trying to prevent death of any kind at all costs to straight up trying to kill who he thought was an unarmed man just shows how much Viggo got inside Hiccup's head and how much that got to him.

The least evil would be Layton Montgomery and I kinda disagree with Shen being the most evil. I say Drago Bludvist is the most evil and also I think the more evil should be Prince Charming
@@subifyouhatetiktokandreddit234 I also disagree like Ivan said. While Montgomery may have insulted the bees, and was not that good at his job if it occurred in real life, he was morally correct in the sense that Barry's win in the lawsuit would ruin the ways of nature. Ken was more antagonistic because he tried to kill Barry out of jealousy. Montgomery never tried to kill him, the worst thing he did was denounce Barry's entire race.
29:34 Hmm, that's debatable. You see Jack Frost as mischievous, but you forget about his backstory; you also forget about the others' attitude towards him, especially Bunny's during the movie.
@@WickedBinge we can keep debating all day over how "good" the Guardians (except for Jack) truly are, but instead, I'll say this: if we do get a proper sequel to this movie, they need to show us that they truly care about Jack Frost.

Keep this in mind for the villains video: In the Trolls franchise, Barb is the least evil antagonist/villain. In fact, she's way more noble than Chef and Creek combined. Behind the affably condescending attitude of rock music being better than others, she had good intentions since in her view, the different musics (especially Pop) alienated the other tribes from unity and harmony. You also can't help but feel bad for her cause she has to tend to her elderly father hand and foot, and she's under a lot of pressure from being queen, and it prevents her from opening to anyone cause her subjects don't act like true friends to her.
I'm glad Hiccup was higher up on the list he's so friggin awesome he has a flight suit and awesome dragon armor and learns he doesn't have to be like the wild vikings and kill dragons just like everyone else and changed many people at the same time..... even though he made alot of enemies in the process and changing them as well..such as dagur, Alvin and viggo grimborn even though he died but he died gloriously and changed his dad....sucks for Drago buldfist, grimal, ryker, Johan and krogan. Yes I'm a serious HTTYD fan
I feel like Oscar is just a mixed guy. He did save the whole fish race, but that wasn’t exactly his intention. He just wanted to be popular and ended up leaving his friends for fame and fortune. But, he also had hidden good intentions to carry on his dad’s legacy and did appreciate Angie. Idk, I just want sushi when I think of Oscar
I agree with you. Oscar wants to be famous because other fish didn't respect him (except Angie) and that he was bullied as a kid because his dad was a tongue-scrubber. This traumatic childhood experience causes Oscar to develop serious insecurities about being a nobody and led him to believe that he has to become famous to get the respect that he wants. He wasn't truly selfish. He just wanted other fish to respect him, but he went about it the wrong way. So he is not evil. Just misunderstood and misguided. That's what makes Oscar a compelling, relatable and complex character. I find him underrated.
Po is indeed the best of the best. I just love that sweet lovable panda so much. There are tons of characters I love in DreamWorks and Po has always caught my attention the most.
Anyone think it’s weird how dreamworks went thru the claymation, Disney like animation, then the modern Dreameorks animation wonder why they changed there styles so much
I guess in a way Megamind is similar to Diane from The Bad Guys (I wonder where they would be ranked if they were in this list). I appreciate the starting quotes from Captain Underpants (an accidental hero beat an accidental villain) and Shrek. I am a fan of Sinbad, even though I only heard of him not even a year later, what really got me into it was Eris and her luscious voice. Ginger doesn’t know when to quit. I wonder what Alex’s parents would think of their son now.
I personally would have put Miguel higher than Tulio, because regardless of everything, Tulio was still dead set on taking home the gold, where as Miguel was determined to stay and protect the city as their God.

El Dorado and Sinbad were great movies. 2 of my favorites. And I think having the protagonists being so morally questionable really tied it together. Because they grew by the end
Say what ya want about Oscar the fish but I still love him. Especially since he is able more than make up for his actions by not only admitting his deed but even helping a struggling dad accept his son. Which leads to the shark mob to be less mobish and more just your tough but kind neighbors.
I love Oscar too. He also shows how much he appreciates Angie by returning her grandmother's pearl to her and despite the fact that he lied about killing Frankie, he manages to defeat Don Lino, displaying his true courage. Oscar is also capable of nobility and integrity, when he tells the truth and admit to his mistakes, which results in fish and sharks living together in peace. Not to mention the fact that he gave Crazy Joe his apartment, giving him a home to live in after being homeless for so long. In many ways, Oscar is a misunderstood and underrated character and he deserves our love and respect, especially considering how much he had grown throughout the movie.

I was really expecting Hiccup to be slightly on the good-4-everyone side until I realized that there are way more than the approximate 10 series/movies that I initially thought.
I can't agree with Oh being the Worst for a quite a few reasons: 1.) He's more ignorant than anything. He was in the dark about all the negatives his kind did and legit believed the propaganda fed to him that they were a helpful species that did no wrong. 2.) His intentions are uniquely pure. He legit did not want to hurt anyone and only wanted to make friends. But his clumsiness/ social awkwardness ended up backfiring. But he always tried to make it right when he messed up. 3.) When he learns how wrong he is about...anything/ everything, he admits fault where he can and tries to make things better. To the point of him saving the day. 4.) He had no say in what actions his people took at the beginning of the film. But by the end, the second he had amassed an ounce of power/ say with his people: he used it to better himself. His tribe. Earth. And everyone around him. Oh is just an incredibly sweet character that was fed the wrong morals growing up, but learned the truth and decided to be different instead of doubling down. And I find that respectable. But I am one of the few people who actually like "Home" and don't find him annoying so maybe the problem's with me 😅
How to train your dragon is my favorite movie series and I’m really satisfied with where it’s placed, although my mind is still dumbfounded that Trolld beat it lol.
I agree that hiccup deserved to be higher than poppy. Poppy is a very unlikeable protagonist, especially in the sequel cause she never listens to anyone.
I would like to say something about Shark Tale. I haven’t seen it, but it is clear that it isn’t well liked. However, the co-director also directed my favorite movie. That movie is called A Monster in Paris (Un Monstre à Paris). It’s a good family movie and it’s well written. If you haven’t seen it, I would recommend it.
I honestly think Puss In Boots should be higher because on top of saving the town he saved Humpty and cared about his life even after everything he put him through. Puss also apologised to Humpty saying that it was wrong of him to ignore his brother (even though it should be Humpty apologising). He gives Humpty a chance to regain his trust and friendship. Puss In Boots also defeated the villains Jack and Jill. Though they were hired by Humpty, they were still murderous outlaws who wanted nothing more than the magic beans and the golden eggs/goose. They were planing on destroying the world with that power and money. When they were about to kill Humpty for that said power, Puss stopped them and their wicked schemes. Over all, Puss is a very good cat who has excellent morals and is very forgiving. In the film he shows emotional awareness/intelligence (which isn’t something all DreamWorks heroes have), heroism, kindness, courage and though he can be arrogant at times, he knows when it is appropriate and when it is not. I honestly wish he was real because that sort of personality is hard to find.

While Oscar can be bit of jerk at times, he is still a good person. Despite his faults, he cares about his friends and would do anything to make things right for them, whether it is to correct his mistakes or to save someone from another. The reason Oscar ranked higher than Oh is because he shows more growth as a character. He becomes more humble, confident, compassionate and assertive. Not to mention more diligent, as he no longer resorts to get-rich-quick schemes and instead works hard to make an honest and joyful life.
I would have put Sinbad lower, but yeah, he's kind of complicated, where I don't think he even knows his own motives most the time, so yeah. He did decide he was going to flee, but he never truly did.

Yeah Oscar is worse, oh is just socially awkward and was raised with a certain idea of how things worked and learned why what his people are doing is wrong.
I'd also place Mr. Peabody higher since he means well and, yeah keeping his son in the dark about the situation with Miss Grunion wasn't the best idea and only wanting to save Sherman wasn't the best motive, but he genuinely loves Sherman and doesn't his son to be taken away from him. Miss Grunion is a jerk! He and Sherman also saved New York from a giant rip in the space-time continuum. 👍

In my opinion oh isn’t as bad as any characters on this list. He didn’t mean to send out the invitation to everyone. I do agree he deserves to be in the section he was I’d say he deserves at least a lower spot. Abraham Nettey nah ken is kinda more evil as he did try to kill Barry which is something Montgomery didn’t do
The least evil would be Layton Montgomery and I kinda disagree with Shen being the most evil.

@@JuJu-bq9uq Yep!
@@JuJu-bq9uq Absolutely!
Keep this in mind for the villains video:
In the Trolls franchise, Barb is the least evil antagonist/villain.
The fact that some of these are so hard to rank shows how much character development sometimes goes into these movies.

Shrek is a true hero, savior of humanity

Please do a DreamWorks Animation Villains Evil to Most Evil!
El Dorado and Sinbad were great movies. 2 of my favorites. And I think having the protagonists being so morally questionable really tied it together. Because they grew by the end
I agree with you.
It seems so backwards to hate a character for flaws that are intentional and grow out of.

Dreamworks villians: evil to most evil!
Spies in disguise: good to evil!
I can't agree with Oh being the Worst for a quite a few reasons:
1.) He's more ignorant than anything.
But I am one of the few people who actually like "Home" and don't find him annoying so maybe the problem's with me 😅
Dreamworks villains next!
It’d be cool if you guys did a list like this but in the form of most grown characters from start to finish

Me: Favorite scene in the movie, lol.

Alex is the sole protagonist of the Madagascar franchise
No matter how I love the penguin team, they don't deserve to be this high.
