I experienced six months of agony which I later discovered to be akathisia, after coming off 30 years of antidepressants. I thought it would never end. So glad you're doing this to help people who otherwise feel alone and hopeless.

@@HeymattmarinWow now that you’ve said that Matt I can say what I was afraid to say before because it has a tendency to be overused and can be more damaging than encouraging but I truly believe that we are all here for a reason no matter what our minds are telling us and how desperate we may be. Many people never know why but still they preserver. I am a fan of the shows like The Voice whose season just started and after seeing your post today, I can tell you now without hesitation that you would not only make it but you’d most likely be in top 10 without question. You were made for this among other things. In my opinion you are right up there with some of the best like David Cook and Adam Lambert. I think they were on American Idol but the point is that you definitely have the talent to make this a career with the gifts God gave you. So please be encouraged with the knowledge that beyond being in this world to encourage this community, you definitely have a reason and a purpose to live with hope. Many of us are still wondering and searching for what ours are. Blessings😇

You definitely should do some or more and submit one to The Voice, American Idol, etc. because you’ve got what it takes Matt. I mean that. Need an update on how you're doing im right at the start 7 months off ssri n 4 off benzo in hell akathasia with no support cant afford a coach i need to know there is hope thanks matt
@@lyndawebster3313 you are going to make it through this. It is hell, I know. Keep going. It ends it just takes time. I highly suggest getting on inner compass exchange. There’s support groups online that meet on zoom. Read success stories of people who’ve gotten through it. You can do this even when it feels impossible. I’m sending you so much love.

@Heymattmarin hi Matt! I live in Korea and I wrote it in my language thinking Google would translate it. Please know that there are people praying for you even on the other side of the world. doctors gave my father, who is old and has Parkinson's disease, K like candies and made him CT 4 times, so my family lives day by day to save him. Since then, I have not been able to ignore seeing people suffering from severe withdrawal symptoms, especially akathisia. I will always send you deep love, support, and good luck and pray earnestly that you can overcome this.
