I’d love to hear where you’re currently at on your skin journey OR anything that you absolutely swear by when it comes to your skin?! 🥹

Hi Jessie, hope you're doing well. You look strikingly beautiful, as you often do. I have had mild to moderate acne for about ten years. I've found that taking care of my health helped the most. Exersizing moderately, being in nature to manage stress ect. And I take supplements to regulate my hormones like, inositol, acetyl-L carnatine and vitex(on and off) but what works is very individual. As well as more general supplements like vitamin D, B complex and Omega 3. Topically Vitamin A helped the most, I recommend starting slowly. I love the Geek and Gorgeous A game. It should help with acne scarring as well. And Red light therapy helps heal acne up quicker, haven't tried Blue light. The mito lamps seem to be the least expensive while still effective.
I'm glad you've found what works for you! But as you said acne in no way detracts from how beautiful a person you are.

My skin hates fragranced products. I have to use fragrance free on my face. My skin doesn't like nivea or e45 it burns. I can use cerave, neutrogena hydro boost, eucerin, vaseline, simple products, just found altruist for spf but I can also use bondi sands fragrance free spf or some kids sensitive ones. My face was fine then I got allergies and my skin became so sensitive.

Tretinoin (prescription acne product) and pimple patches (ex. Cosrx) applied directly on pimples made a difference for me. Otherwise, like you, I have to use a very simple routine. Fragrance and SLS (sulfates) cause my skin issues (redness, peeling, breakouts, rash), so I have to stay away from them.

Absolutely!! My skin cleared up completely when I stopped EVERYTHING, I wash with gentle soap and water and then I moisturise and that’s it. No acids or peels or scrubs, nothing! Worked amazing for me

I am 28 and finally cleared my skin at 27. I tried EVERYTHING, including prescriptions like Spironolactone, Tretinoin. The only thing that worked was 6 months on Accutane. It had some horrible side effects, but now going on 5 months now, I haven't had one new pimple.

I needed this video so bad! I’ve struggled over 10 years but it comes and goes! I’ve cleared it before but sometimes what you’ve done before doesn’t work again. So important to heal from the inside out but I’m also the same spending a small fortune on all these skincare products. Will definitely be ordering what you’ve mentioned in this video and hoping it works for me 🤞🏼 your skin looks great!

Less is most definitely more! I feel like we are so bombarded with ads and people telling us to buy and use sooo many products, but in my experience they only made things so much worse for me. I only wash my face once a day now and it has made a SIGNIFICANT difference

    • @JessieB98

Other tips: Patch testing is important when introducing a new product to make sure it doesn’t irritate you which basically means taking a product and only using it on a small patch of your skin; using a product for 28 days for a full skin cycle because otherwise you don’t know if it works or not - yes even if a product is still making you purge for 3 weeks, that doesn’t mean it isn’t going to work or isn’t working because it’s bringing out the pimples that are underneath your skin faster than they would have come out because it’s shedding the skin cells faster. Irritation and purging are two different things though!

I agree with this, keeping it simple is always the best way to go. I usually cleanse, use a hydrating toner, moisturize, and put on sunscreen. Great video as always!

Thank you so much for the tips! ❤ I was also wondering if the sea moss has helped with PCOS/PMDD for you? I know that some of the nutrients in it are really good for hormone regulation, and on a journey myself trying to heal my hormones naturally! X

I’m glad you were able to clear your skin… It looks great! ❤ I am definitely going to try the Sea Moss! I can’t wait to see what it does.
One thing I’ve recently found helps a lot is a hypochlorous acid spray. I use the brand called Ellement. It’s nice because it’s super safe. You can use it as many times a day as you want. I’ve noticed a big difference in large breakouts and even the small closed comedones. You can even use it on cuts, burns, infections etc! I was also going to say that it’s important to wash your hands. It really is amazing how many people touch the dirtiest possible things and then go right into putting on their skin care. I wash my hands probably like 10 times throughout the process of doing my skin care and makeup lol 😅

You look amazing! 💖 I'm so glad you found a routine that is working for you, less is definitely more in this case! I have never heard of sea moss as a supplement and I now have three tabs open about it. Minerals are magic 😄 I know the dairy thing can be controversial but knowing whether or not you can tolerate it is so crucial. I just can't drink store-bought milk anymore after getting local raw grass-fed milk. Anyway, keep on glowing and thank you for being so open and vulnerable 💖😊

Oh thank you so much lovely! 🥹🤍 The amount of health benefits there are to taking sea moss is insaneee, I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! So true on the dairy front, all comes down to how your body reacts to it 👏🏻❤️

Thank you Jessieee!! I gotta drink more water, I'm trying so hard but then i just fel like I'm drowining 😂

Thank you for sharing this. I recently am struggling with (more mild but still frustrating) hormonal and stress acne, I tried products with vitamin E in and boy it made things so much worse everytime. I'm so ready to restart my routine as my old staple ones either don't work or the products no longer exist 🙄 also house/rooms tour anytime? Loving the artwork behind you. ❤
