i know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any assistance you can give me
Bought a jeep. took it to mechanic for inspection. he did transmission filter change. a month later it leaked from around the pan gasket. watched this video, bought the parts, applied the knowledge and saved money. THANK YOU. p.s. I also will never use that mechanic again.
I just did this service on my '96 ZJ 4.0. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this video and your thoughtful and complete knowledge to get this work done. It made my service a breeze. My accumulator spring was broken and stuck, whoever did the service last did not put in a pan gasket, the filter was filthy and the fluid was maroon in color. I now have first gear back and the Jeep is a whole new vehicle. Thanks again so so much. BTW a few weeks ago, I also did the fuel filter according to your video - again, a success. Thanks for the knowledge and I look forward to more!
How similar was the 5.2 to your 96 4.0? I have a 98 ZJ 4.0 and I usually work on Hondas so this is the first Jeep I'm working on. Are all the parts/fluid quantities the same as in the video? Thanks!
So stoked to see countless others taking the time to give you search well-deserved compliments and appreciation, because your videos are the best I've seen. Your camera work and editing is perfect, and you're also very mindful of attention spans and move at a perfect pace with understandable explanations. I'll probably keep watching Scotty for a good laugh, but will definitely continue checking with you first for more help with my Jeep. Thanks a million man!
Barricade Garage Holy shit you are the man!!! My 1997 grand Cherokee was slipping, completely out of the blue. The day before I drove 160 miles round trip with no issues. Took it to a transmission shop they told me it needed a complete rebuild for $2,800.00. I watched your video and changed all the parts (by the way there are 2 different solenoids for that year, so I would recommend taking the old one out before ordering a replacement). The accumulator spring was in 3 pieces! Long story short it’s running fine now!!! I can’t thank you enough 👍 I’m so do grateful you posted this video. You rock dude 😀
You sir are a God send! I really needed this to do my '98 Grand Cherokee. I shoot some pro video and THIS is the most detailed, clear, great video and the best no BS car maintenance video I have ever watched! Very professional and clear to the point. I'd like to buy you a beer! Thanks again for this, good work my man!
You’re really good at the tutorials and all the details with filming. Not to mention you take your time and no short cut on the editing and all the steps. Shout out to amazing content and informative, as well.
Dope vid, this channel has quickly become my go to for my ZJ, I can see this Z making it to 350-400k with this kind of maintenance. Gotta love the 318. Mopar or no car. Stay safe and bless
Thank you so much. I changed the pan, filter and 3-4 accumulator spring in my 2000 Durango 44RE. Glad you mentioned the spring because when I opened the plate cover, the old spring fell out in pieces! Love your 5.2L repair vids!! 👍👍
Would just like to say please never sell your jeep. Best jeep videos on the tube man. Unless you add a 4.0 or 5.9 in the mix so i could fix up all three of my zjs .
Thanks MUCH, you saved me a ton of extra work! I had no idea about the spring, and was ready to replace the sensor/solenoid/filter/gasket/fluid...but checked the spring while I was at it, and lo and behold, it was broken! Followed your link, and ordered that beefier one from ebay. Thanks again for another great DIY video!
OUTSTANDING VIDEO!!!! Well produced, well filmed and GREAT information!! Thank you!! I'm going to give everything you did in this video a try with my sons Cherokee. Great job!!
Dang man, this is the most instructional and clearly performed youtube video i have ever seen. I am going to learn how to save Barricade Garage to search first from now on for all auto queries. Ive never even felt like leaving a coment or review before now, but I just have to give this guy props for a serious job well done. Kinda feel bad for not paying anything for the good advice! thanks for making the web a better place Barricade!
I’m doing this job today and I’ve been watching this video over and over to not messed it up thanks for the work you do and the time you take to share it keep it up man 👍
You have given me the confidence to tackle this project myself! Fantastic video and lighting. Step by step explanation. You my friend are one in a million. Thank you for taking the time to produce this video!!
I love how your videos are “no BS”. Some Of the other videos they’ll spend 10mins explains things 5 different ways, your are this this done. Love um!!!
I finally got around to doing this and yes my accumulator spring was broke on my 98. I wouldn’t have ever even known if not for your awesome video. Thanks from Canada.
Thank you so much for doing this I have my 98 4.0 ZJ I have been working on you by far are the most professional I've seen on TH-cam on explaining to do maintenance/repairs on vehicles. THANKS
You speak very well, you are very clear on what you are doing. Thank You for the Multi-Use Transfer Pump idea. Please keep making videos. I select like on your video. Your video is very clear and in focus. Great job.... I look forward to seeing your videos as I select subscribe. From San Jose California
You are a really wonderful person. You have helped us with your videos and I am applying this with all its details. Thank you, my dear.🌺🌺. Your skills are from Libya 🇱🇾
Your video helped so much. There is so much I didnt know about what to check for that I learned from your video. Even found part number for a new pan with a drain plug. Thank you so much.
3-4 accumulator Spring... I’ve had my 94 Dakota to 3 different shops and no one could figure out why it wont go into 4th gear despite 1-2 and 3 working fine. The overdrive button is lit constantly. Saw this video and when you talked about the accumulator spring it was like you were talking to me. Took it to another mechanic to do exactly what you are doing here to see if that solves my issue. If it solves it I can’t thank you enough. If it doesn’t, it needed a trannie oil change anyway. Thanks for the great videos !!!!
Hello friend, is the same procedure for a Gran Cherokee Laredo 4.0 1998? the same parts and codes? thanks. Congratulations for the videos!!! Greetings from Brazil.
My transmission pan leaks on my 42RE Transmission on my 2001 JGC Laredo 4.0L IN6 w/225k miles but still runs good. So I decided that if I going to replace the tranny gasket, I might as well replace the filter and solenoids also along with the spring. This is a great video to watch to see how easy it is to service the A500 42RE transmission. I’m looking forward to this project. Mahalo
Man, you got all the comments in the world but I’ll just add my sincere respect and thanks for a fantastic video. I mean it is perfect.. awesome.. so good. Your narration, the content, delivery, pace, visuals, camera work, timing, clarity… damn. I agree with all the rave reviews and I thank you. Big time respect. 🫡
One of the best repair videos I’ve seen to work on my Jeep, great content! Would you know if this repair would be the same for a 93 zj 5.2? Also do you mind telling me the size and brand of tires your running on this beauty?
Just wanted to call this out for anyone who has a 5.9 Limited ZJ. Since the 5.9s came with a 46RE transmission, a new Dorman oil pan will be part number 265-827. The gaskets are also a little different. Autozone search is terrible for 5.9s, for the gasket just reference a 98 dodge ram with the 5.9. Everything else in this video is perfectly in line with the process for 46re’s. Same solenoid, sensor, and accumulator spring. Please pin this for others, thank you for all these videos!
Man this video is so helpful. Got everything taken apart for a sensor to be completely different. My pressure sensor is straight at the connector not bent this sucks lol. But great video!
My transmissions been acting goofy just like you explain on the video I put the scanner on it surely enough it’s asking me for the governor pressure sensor so I’m gonna do a complete service on it just like you thank you for the video man

What symptoms are experiencing when these parts approach end-of-life service?
My husbands jeeps rpms spiked at 4000 and even based nearly under 1000 rpm. His governor pressure sensor and solenoid had to be replaced.
What parts do I need to do this for a 1993 grand cherokee v8 limited. The parts you listed say they will mot work on my 1993. Please help!
About how much does all that cost? Thanks
i know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account??
