    Worked like a charm. 20 minute job swapping out the covers. Glad you provided both versions. The M8 that I currently have is by far the easiest ones to swap out compared to my previous pre-M8 ride. Thank you!

    Hey Doc, can you do a video on the different Stage kits and when you'd want to add additional components to support the kits? You kinda touched base with this regarding the cam kits, but just wish you'd dive deeper into it. For example, if you do a Stage 4 131 kit from a 114 OE engine, do you need to replace the Crank or anything else to support the upgrades?

    • @LowCountryHarleyDavidson
      @LowCountryHarleyDavidson  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A full clutch adjustment - Cable and Allen (behind the clutch cover) would be a good place to start. New fluid at the right amount can also help. Too much primary fluid can cause this too. Thanks ~ Doc

Looks like the guy before me kept dropping oil on it from oil changes. I'm thinking the front went out first because it's right under the oil filter. Can I change out the front mount now and the rear a few months down the road or do you need to replace them as a set? This bike needs a bit of work, trying to manage my budget LOL.

    • @LowCountryHarleyDavidson
      @LowCountryHarleyDavidson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great diagnostic👍 if your meter is showing battery voltage you may not have enough amperage do to a corroded connection in the harness. Just to be sure, loosen the mounting nut at the horn and retest. Too much torque effects the horn’s ability to vibrate and honk…..Doc
