I was also hesitant if I was going to color everything matte black including the engine but I think I’ll embrace the chrome for now. Changing these buttons and housing, the handles, oil housing and the battery protector for all chrome lol

Did the right hand throttle-side pose an issue? I too like the contrast of the chrome caps against the black control housing. The Harley caps are the caps I trust to fit though they cost more but it's probably safer to use Harley parts over a third-party after market product. Steve, I bought the chrome caps from Harley and will install them later this week. Thanks for the video. Ride long, ride hard, and ride safe brother. 4/24/23
You have to take the whole housing off the bar because the turn signal switch itself has to come out before you pop the cap off. That’s the correct way to do it.
I have a road king (im a member of your softail facebook group because my wife has an 04) I have chrome housings and black switches. I think Im gonna chrome them up. Thanks for the tutorial.
Hi Steve, this 2 pins that pop out... are they simple pins, plastic or metal? I lost my in the assembly, do you think they can be replaced for something "alternative"?

Did the opposite - new chrome covers, original black switches. Also looks great.
