I've been eating keto for 2 months and my weight loss is slow but steady. More importantly, I saw my endocrinologist yesterday and she said I am no longer diabetic. I have been off any meds for over 2 months and my average blood sugar has been 79. She told me I could stop testing and just continue what I am doing. This is a long time coming as I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2000.

I got diagnosed with T2D 2 years ago & I got off insulin a few months back , I haven’t done any crazy diets but I’m hoping to start incorporating some of this into my lifestyle …. & see how it helps with my sugars … my mom also got diagnosed with T2D 1-2 months after I did and I hope to help her make some changes as well with her , might also incorporate this lifestyle with her ! 😊♥️✨

you will always be diabetic. what your idiot endo meant is you are in remission...which means through diet and exercise you maintain healthy levels. if you eat high carb again and stop this lifestyle, you will shoot right back up there and need to take meds again. please i hope you understand that there is NO cure to diabetes and once you are diagnosed it is with you for life.

I just want to clarify -My content is not changing as all my recipes are low carb and keto friendly. As much as I've loved doing keto for the last 5 years, I’ve slowly transitioned back to low carb. If I start to gain weight, I will 💯 go back to strict keto as it has always worked for me👏. Most of my food is still “keto” I’ve just added small amounts of fruit, potatoes and rice here and there (which is considered “low carb” vs keto.
I just wanted to share this with you because some of you might relate.
If you have any questions, comments, feel free to add them here! Love you guys ❤

But I’m not giving up fruit . Plus I consume 4-7 scoops of collagen daily . You gotta up your collagen ; maybe buy some pigs feet or chicken feet and let it sit for 12 hours and drain , it’s going to have tons of collagen

This happened to me too, after 8 yrs on keto I recently started Carnivore, this made me realise how lacking I was in protein, hence the sarcopenia … sagging skin that belongs to a very old person . But I think I might also just start high protein low carb. I was doing OMAD, it was really hard to fit in enough protein to support skin health . Now I’m doing carnivore and having to eat four meals a day just so I can eat enough for the nutrients needed. It’s hard ! @@epinedo Literally all you do is make an eating window. A popular one is 16:8, which often means you ONLY eat bettween 12 noon and 8pm. That literally amounts to nothing more than not eating breakfast. It's nothing more than "don't eat before x hour and don't eat past y hour."
If you think about it, it's no different from "eat breakfast before work, eat lunch during your lunch break, eat supper when you get home, and then don't eat again until breakfast the next morning," while you may or may not choose to eat a snack here or there between your meals through the day before the shut-off period. You can set the time whenever you want. Aside from 16:8 another popular one is 18:6, or your eating window between noon and 6pm. Personally I let it slide around. I started out doing 16:8 with a noon - 8 schedule but quickly learned that I slept better if I stopped eating at least 3 hours before bed. So I set the rule that I had to be done with supper by 7, but often as not I find myself not eating past 6. But I also sometimes set the window between 10-6, or 11-7, depending on my mood. I'm hungrier some mornings than others.
The thing to understand though is that Intermittent Fasting ONLY works the same way all other diet mechanisms work: by putting you in a calorie deficit. If you eat more calories than you burn, it won't matter one bit whether you eat on an Intermittent Fasting schedule or not.

@@mellybear It's short for Interment Fasting it's a lifestyle where you restrict yourself from eating a certain amount of time for example your last meal would be at 8pm until your first meal at 12pm the next day so that's what's called a 16/8 IF window. you don't eat for 16 hours (including the time you're sleeping ) and have 8 hours to eat all your meals preferably three meals in those 8 hours but a lot of people choose two instead. You can choose to change the time that best works for your lifestyle as not everyone can do 8pm-12pm. The trick is you have to always break your fast with a healthy meal high in protein, healthy fat, and fiber. you can not break your fast with bread or junk food otherwise you won't see the results you would want. IF really does work I absolutely love it, It has helped me lose a lot of weight and it helps so much with bloating and gut wealth. you should do some research on it. I follow Autumn Bates here on youtube she's great at explaining exactly how it works. Mayra also has videos here talking about it. Hopes this explain a little bit. Good night

@LowCarbLove I got this from Vince Saint (vshred) yes I watched his video, very long. But what he said for my body type, has worked for me, when I've plateaud. (say from being keto for a while, and after not seeing results, switching to low carb for a few days) then I check the scale and I continue dropping weight. And even when the scale plateaus, I know I'm still losing fat, because I can see my muscles growing and my clothes feels much better than when, "I weighted the same " last year.

Hopefully Reggie shares his experience, but typically metabolic flexibility needs to trained* with one or both of extended ketosis and fasting - ideally 24+ hour and multi-day @@LowCarbLove. “Trained” may give the wrong impression, because you’re building new pathways that have been long dormant or are effectively gone - by destroying old cells/mitochondria (autophagy) and replacing them with new, better functioning cells… throughout your entire body. Unfortunately, autophagy typically only happens during ketosis/fasts (except cases of trauma/toxicity).
That very long process of rebuilding your body, 1 cell at a time, is why most people have low ketones even when they have low blood sugar… even 16 or 20 hours into a fast, and after months/years of keto too. Short-term keto does help lose weight either way, but long-term achieving “full” metabolic flexibility (i.e. ketones immediately & highly available after glucose spikes, spikes clear out quickly without lag, ketone pathways efficient enough to fuel demanding sport and mental activity, etc) is a cumulative transformation.
Early on, autophagy may not start until 20 hours into a fast (or continuous ketosis with < 5g glucose, for many perhaps < 1g) or could even take 2-3 days. As you gain flexibility though, autophagy will start sooner… and eventually you can make significant transformation progress even during IF single-day fasts. So achieving “full” metabolic flexibility depends on how often/long you put yourself into autophagy…. which might take only a few months for someone dedicated, or many years (or never) if someone never fasts long and also never goes for long in super strict ketosis.
Personally, I’ve been varying levels of low carb/keto/paleo for 11 years (with some off periods)… My metabolic flexibility however didn’t improve much at all-until I started fairly aggressive IF 1 year ago (a mix of 20:4 TMAD and 23:1 OMAD), and then especially 8 months ago when I went carnivore (sometimes full, sometimes with fruit/ferments) and added in a 36+ hour multi-day fast every 1-2 months.
Now I regularly play running sports (e.g. tennis, basketball) for 2+ hours a time, 4x a week or more, while fasted… or do heavy mental work on ketones. I’ve measured my blood ketones and glucose on meters. While it’s pretty good (high & responsive) I’d say I still have a ways to go still…. I don’t know of any good way to measure this, but in my mind I feel like I’m 30-50% of the way to fully metabolically flexible? I’m very happy at least with where I’m currently at-how available energy feels, how long I can last in sport, how quickly I seem to recover from occasional bad carbs, how sharp my mind feels, how rarely food comas/brain fog ever arise, etc-and looking forward to where I’ll be in another year!
That’s my experience anyway! Hope that helps and/or is of interest at all 😄

This video could not have come at a better time!!! I've been struggling so much 😩 I started keto probably around 5 years ago too...I lost 60 pounds the first time, gained it back for a while, got sick of being heavy again, did keto plush intermittent fasting, lost the 60 again, started menopause and my Dad got sick with cancer and passed away in January...I put about 40 pounds back on and now I can't lose anything 😭I also got diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I'm so frustrated and tired of constantly living with this restricted mindset for so long and not see anything happening now. I want to be healthy and enjoy myself but also want to feel good about myself too. It's tough being in my 50s. I know my body is changing and what used to work just doesn't anymore with my metabolism. I'm at a loss. I won't give up and I think I'm going to maybe be low carb for a while by eating healthy foods but not worrying about trying to stay under 20 carbs a day. Sorry for the pity party...it's just been a tough year in so many aspects. ❤

And my energy level is out the roof without taking ANY stimulants of any kind. I feel as though I've been freed from a horrible life. It's amazing and I would never stop my keto diet. For about 6 months now I’ve just been happily living my life and I definitely do not feel like I’m on a diet. I think low carb is very doable. The thing most ppl need to do is just get all the junk food out of their lives, eat a good clean diet, and get some sort of exercise in every day, something you enjoy. Life is short, it should be enjoyed to the fullest! Good luck to everyone on your fitness journey ❤

I’ve recently transitioned to an animal based diet. I’m 90/95% carnivore, 5/10% plant. I did it primarily for energy, and so far so good. It’s been about 3 months, and I’m very pleased with the results. While I didn’t start it to lose weight, I have lost about 15lbs. Not only has my energy improved, but the cracking in my knees has subsided, as well as the pain and strain when bending over and standing up, climbing stairs, etc. I’m feeling much stronger overall. That’s not to say that I don’t feel the stiffness and discomfort that comes with age. I’m in my late 50’s, and I’ve always been semi-athletic, so the arthritic pain and stiffness in my joints, wasn’t all that surprising to me. However, since going animal-based I’m feeling less of that stiffness and discomfort and I like it.

But my cholesterol, which was always a problem, went even higher. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had several surgeries, family and friends visited and brought food. I couldn't refuse their thoughtfulness! I didn't gain any weight when bringing back carbs, but within a month I lost my waistline, and look like a average 62 year old woman with a thick middle. Same here Garden!! I did Keto to support my husband, he is 10 years older than me, I’m 53 and he 63….. suddenly, over night…. His A1C came back as a full blown diabetic, so we went Keto, literally over night….
For me, I only lost about 20lbs and couldn’t lose any more! I felt terrible, tired, bloated and awful…. My husband was doing great! He lost the weight (45lbs) and his A1 came down to almost normal levels!! So it worked for him…. Me…. Not so much…
I went for my yearly checkup and my cholesterol levels were thru the roof!!! I mean DANGEROUSLY high… my A1C was also high!!! Keep in mind, my husband and I NEVER have any sugar what so ever…. Only blueberries a few times a week… so what gives??
So my dr sent me to my gastric Dr to see if something may be amiss (I have intestinal issues prior to keto) and he told me that he has seen this before, mostly in women but sometimes men too…. Keto tanks their blood work, raises fat in the body….and also messes with insulin levels, thus raising the A1C …that was for sure ME!! So he put me on “The Starch Solution” diet by Dr McDougall …. And whala…. Without even trying I lost 23lbs and my blood work AND A1C is back down to normal again…
Keto isn’t a “one size fits all” diet. There are others out there like me, that practiced Keto perfectly, to a Tee…. And it did not work for them…
I can’t tell you how many times I have had people say to me “you weren’t doing it right then, because it worked great for me”…. But every person, every Body in motion, is different.
Many women of my age group (53) can not do keto because of cholesterol or insulin issues…. You just have to find what diet works for your body type. 💯💕👍🏼

I think the intermittent fasting time is also very important. Fasting Foodie lost weight & maintains that weight loss with just an Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle with an eating window of usually 22:2 6 days a week of an OMAD, a down day of 500 calories with the OMAD & then 1 up day with eating 2 or 3 meals within usually a 6-hour window. She clean fasts, which is very important. No diet soda during the fasting time. She will drink water, plain coffee or sparkling water with plain LMNT in it during her fasting time. She eats a good variety of food.

From what I have learned, healthy and keto 3 to 4 days a week and then carbs one day. This works on your metabolic system in a positive way. Integrating intermittent fasting into this system is a homerun for weight loss!

I actually just started this year on improving my health through nutrition. I use a lot of keto recipes, but I don't focus on a diet. I just balance carbs, protein, fiber, and good fat. Some high fiber toast with eggs or cottage cheese in the morning satiates me until lunch and I'm not craving carbs at lunch as much. I've lost 25 lbs so far. 🥰

Thank you so much Myra for being transparent & keeping it real. When I was first started Keto primarily for health reasons to reverse my Type 2 Diabetes & this channel was a great help to me❤. That was 2 years ago! Now with some life challenges currently, I'm struggling & sticking with Keto has been really hard since I'm a stress eater & my go to comfort foods is Ice Cream, cake & cookies 😭. I've gained back 20lbs of the total 50lbs I lost. But I know when I get back focused I will have the tools & the many recipes from your channel to help, so again Thank U❤

I’ve been on keto for 4yrs. I’m no longer keto but I’m on a low carb lifestyle. I loved keto and it’s a great tool. I think it’s awesome for ppl that want to start. When I first started I was 184lbs in 2 months I was 165lbs. If I gain a few more pounds than I want I cut back but I’m living life. I have lost and gained but at a happy place. I love my bananas and watermelon and can’t no longer live without them.

Most of us have been in the dark all of our lives about that.
And I think the profiteers in the food and medical indiustries hace had an intentional hand in building that darkness.
LOW CARB and knowledge about highly processed foods is now out in the Light for many and I hope it keeps spreading like wild fire.

Thank you for sharing. I was 56 and 198 pounds when I started, I’m now 61 and weigh 148. It wasn’t a quick weight loss due to hormones but after that adjustment, the weight started coming off. It took almost a year but I’m satisfied with my results. Keto taught me self-discipline and healthier eating habits. I feel terrible when I eat carbs, so I try to refrain but I agree that it’s difficult sometimes. Keto is not hard but it can be inconvenient.

SAME! I am a foodie and found it hard. It was not about eating Keto, because the food was good, but more so the social aspect of it, the wine and sometimes a good old juicy burger, or stone oven pizza. It’s also nice not to always have to plan everything you eat.
Now, I just try to eat low carb as much as possible. If I eat carbs, I will try and balance the other days. What I do love about keto is that it helps you eat a high level of veggies and avoid fillers such as rice and potatoes.
The thing that I don’t like about eating carbs again are the sugar cravings, the late afternoon slumber and the mind getting foggy again. I guess it’s all about balance. KETO works really well, but I don’t think that it sustainable forever.
Anyways, your channel is called LOW CARB LOVE and not KETO LOVE 😉

I’ve lost 50kg through a keto diet and fasting. 40kg was lost in 11 months. The last 10kg has been a slow one as I’ve hit an emotional stump. But I was 130kg, size 24 in pants. I couldn’t touch my feet to put my shoes on at 26 years old and thought that was normal. I had to get seat belt extenders on planes and was always treated different.
So thankful for the low carb diet and how it’s changed my life.
I focused on quality protein with homemade seasonings and marinades and sauces rather than packaged.
I also watched my calorie intake as I love cheese and high calorie proteins like beef and salmon so I watched my calories and aimed for 50g carbs total (not net carbs) per day. 1500 calories a day max until I lost 40kg. Then I moved to 1300 calories a day.

Totally agree. I did strict keto to get the kick start on weight loss and my D2 under control. I lost 1/4 of my weight over 8 mos period 3 years ago. I expanded to a more low carb approach this last year for same reason (less restrictive) and I feel like I still make better decisions as a low carb lifestyle. Pasta, potatoes, rice, pizza is a rare treat but I struggle with salty snacks and a glass of wine, the occasional cookie (one) and that bagel you mentioned made my mouth water. I still do IF 16/8, 2 meals 10:30-6:30 without effort, this seems natural for me. Glad you brought this up as a lifestyle that can be maintained

I completely agree with you. I eat low, fibrous carbs, but I am not "keto" per se. I love all fruits and can't deprive myself of eating fruits so I refrain from SOME carbs like potatoes and rice (I actually am ok with swapping veggies or Cauliflowerrice for real rice), but I don't restrict my carbs to certain amount of grams per day as required on a keto diet. I am only limiting carbs while I'm trying to lose weight. I lost 20 pounds since May and have 20 more to go 🙌 the only keto foods that I may continue eating after I attain my weight loss goal are keto cakes and sweets because I have a serious sweet tooth 😒

I don't think TTail1's comment is necessarily blaming keto. They're just sharing their experience.
I do appreciate darknesssleeps coming to defend keto, especially when there are those who may be more quick to blame it even though they may not have all the information.
At the end of the day keto has helped millions of people but there are those who didn't feel it's a fit. Everyone's body is different. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes after a really stressful year and didn't even realize I had been treating it with keto. Keto definitely worked for me but it requires a lot of time to be able to find healthy food and cook it or have the funds and the resources to access it. A lot of people, despite living in first world countries, do not have consistent access to these.

Just keep in mind that keto is not for every body. Each body is different and has different needs. Some bodies thrive on high carbs, some on moderate, and some on low. If you did everything right on keto and gave it a full 90 days to get fat adapted and find no progress is being made in any aspect of your dietary lifestyle, then I’d suggest a different dietary lifestyle. We all have to find what works for us.

Personally, I have an addiction to carbs so when I have them a couple days in a row, the cravings are insane. I've found it's easier for me to stay below 50 total carbs per day to keep those cravings away and stay on track with maintaining my weight loss. I'm at three years now and feel like I have a good sense of control which is the most important aspect of diet for me.

I was keto about 9 months and it served its purpose for me. I did lose weight and fast, but being keto showed me how strong I was. That I was able to resist the bad foods that got me to my highest weight of 340. I just got to a point where I knew how to eat healthy, I work out regularly and my entire life is just different now. I am 240 now and still losing weight. When I was out with family
and friends it was helllaaaa stressful not being able to enjoy being out because I couldn’t eat with them. I would literally be at the table like, “does the salad dressing have sugar? Just oil and vinegar please…”. I was out, my friends ordered a charcuterie board and I was like guys….I’m going to eat this cracker?? They were like girl, if you don’t eat that damn cracker. Lol. It felt crazy after so long to eat a real carb. But it felt great. I learned that I could balance and I was no longer the person I was. I am still primarily low carb. If I want a flippin baked potato though I’m going to eat it.

Honestly you did keto for the wrong reasons if your reasoning was to "see how strong you are"... no the purpose of keto is to be healthy internally and rid yourself of insulin resistance/diabetes. You're just making yourself a yoyo dieter which you will be worse off now then you were before. Please look up dr Bergs videos on going on and off diets. Your metabolism has now stabilized and that is REALLY bad for your long term health.

I even have a cousin who is a nutritionist and stated that it’s too restrictive and your body will be like a sponge when you do decide to transition. Simply cut back, exercise and maintain your weight by not over indulging. I’m glad you mentioned habits and pills that aid in weight loss too. I started Keto and OMAD about 18 month ago. I was a type 2 diabetic and had a A1C of 12.3. I also had very high blood pressure and of coarse fatty liver disease. My starting weight was 440 pounds and I'm now down to 245, with about 60 pounds to go. Not too bad for 18 months, but even better, I'm off all my diabetes and high blood pressure medications. My last A1C was at 4.4, my doctor almost fell out of his chair. Once I get to my goal weight, I might switch back to 2 meals a day. However, just easting low carb I've learned to enjoy all whole foods now. I make all my own meals and nothing out of a package. Also NO seed oils, just butter (ghee) or extra virgin olive oil. I don't miss the carbs at all, especially since I can replace many of them with healthy alternatives.

At this point, I am pressing to lose another 10 pounds, and then I will be mindful and transition into eating a little differently as you are until I reach my goal weight. I do definitely plan to do intermittent fasting the rest of my life. And that is because fasting has so many health benefits, and I truly want to eat to live and not live to eat. I have been keto, and then low carb, for about 3 years now after finding out I was pre-diabetic. Keto rapidly got my blood sugar under control and got me out of pre-diabetes, and I also lost 21 pounds that I needed to lose. I use My Fitness Pal to track my calories and carbs, and have weighed myself every single day for 3 years. Yes, I know that’s not always a good thing but it works for me, keeps things in check. I also work out 4 days a week.
I just got back from a life-changing “girls’ trip” (with my mom and 2 adult daughters) to England and Scotland (I live in the US) and decided while I was there to eat everything I wanted to and not worry about it. I ate sticky toffee pudding, steak pie, cheesecake, potatoes, fish and chips, you name it, I ate it 😆.
In addition, although we did a TON of walking, I didn’t “work out” for 10 days, did not weigh myself, and did not track a single calorie or carb. I ate intuitively, ate two meals a day, ate whatever I wanted during those two meals, and wasn’t snacking a lot like I tend to do at home.
When I came home I was sure I gained at least 5 pounds. I mainly wore leggings and looser jeans the whole time I was there so it was hard to gauge. Imagine my shock when I got on the scale and I had actually lost a pound!!😱
This has shown me that I don’t always need to be so restrictive about what I eat or track every single thing that passes my lips. My body can adjust to some extra carbs every now and then and it won’t kill me to have the cheesecake or some potatoes once in a while. I do need to keep an eye on my A1C and glucose levels to make sure I stay out of my previous pre-diabetic range, but I feel as long as I balance a mainly low carb lifestyle with a day or two a week for extra treats, I should be ok.
Love your videos and recipes, and appreciate your honesty!!

Hi Mayra. I’m definitely low carb, high protein. I’ve never checked my ketones, I eat between 10am and 6pm, but I’m not completely strict with that. I have, so far, lost 31+ pounds, and I, too, cannot feel like I’m restricted such that I feel bad if I slip up. There is nothing that I miss that badly right now (about 5-6 months in) but if there was something I absolutely had to have, I would have a small bite and be good. I realize this isn’t the same for everyone. I’m 62, I did Atkins back 25 years ago, lost 40 lbs. I’ve had bariatric surgery, lost the typical 10% of my weight. But I was ultimately not successful. I am low carb now…I take it one day at a time! One reason I feel I am, and can continue to be, successful is because of channels like yours, the Keto Twins, Serious Keto…not to leave any others out, but there are so many recipes, tips, tricks, and products available to us now. Congratulations on reaching your goal. I look forward to any and all low carb recipes that may come in the future.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us😊I originally started strict keto almost 3 years ago to manage chronic inflammation, and it was life changing! As someone who is already pretty slim, I wasn't looking for weight loss, and the beauty of keto is that your body is smart and doesn't go beyond your healthy weight:) Like you, I started to feel the need to introduce small amounts of carbs, especially during PMS/period, and even more so now, as I recover from foot surgery. Not a pound has been gained and infact, I've even lost some sadly😔 But, my inflammation is still controlled on a low carb lifestyle. Cheers to you for listening to your body! I believe it always tells us what it needs😌

I totally agree with you. I did Keto for a while. But I felt I was focusing on my diet to much . I am now focusing on low carb, healthy fats, clean protein, veggies and staying away from processed foods. I love organic foods!!

Keto worked for me for a little while. I too felt very restricted. Also, all the sugar substitutes contributed to digestion issues. Simply changing my eating lifestyles to healthy, whole foods has worked wonders for me.

Mayra I'm a huge fan! Best of luck however you decide to eat. I just hope you still share with us your amazing keto or low carb recipes. I'll be eternally grateful for the tamales video with your mom, that was the thing that made Christmas feel like Christmas again. I'm from Costa Rica, and getting that style tamales in north Carolina is about impossible!

I went from pure keto to Mediterranean Keto and never looked back! I am diabetic and taking no meds. My A1C went from 11.0 to 6.0 in just 4 months and I continue to work it down further to normal ranges. Oh and my Cholesterol levels are looking great! I am also an exercise addict so that helps! You are on the right path! Just mix it up and stay away from bad carbs once in a while. I still reward myself with the occasional and I mean occasional sweets to keep it real! You have a new subscriber! Cheers!

Love you Myra! I've started Keto to lose my post pregnancy weight and hopefully, once I reach my goal of 30lbs weight loss I will transition to low carb. I am definitely having success, and so much of it is because of your content and recipes. The first few times I did keto, even though I was successful, it was hard to sustain for me because I had no clue about low carb or keto options for substitutes or recipes that were actually good! Thanks for all you do!

    Hi Mayra!
Been watching your channel from way back. Gotten the best recipes from you. I lost 70 lbs on Keto. I also developed gallstones, so I had to cool it on the high fat, so went low carb. I have been fighting with ovarian cancer and have been off and on Chemo 3x since 2018. I've gained some weight back and really needed to hear this to get myself back on track. Thank you for sharing this with us ❤👍🤗

I learned some great recipes from you. I discovered that eating low carb but not Keto is still helpful. Eating keto is extremely difficult for my family financially, which is why I stopped, but I still learned about carb balancing, cutting down on sugar, and eating protein for weight management. Much love.

Keto is extremely cheap. If you’re finding it expensive then you’re cooking the wrong recipes

Really? Is it because food prices in general are more expensive?

I understand your point completely. For me I never thought about what I was making cooking or baking until it caught up with me with the health consequences. It is not a vanity issue about weight. As one MD said, first you get metabolically ill, then you get obesse. The entertainment by food is not important to me anymore at 72 years of age. How much life I have left and the condition of those years is more important than the social difficulties of being faced with food choices and feeling like a dietary / lifestyle outcast. I am just happy to be in a better dietary / lifestyle position after all the years of abusing myself metabolically by bad food choices.

I am not a fan of TH-cam but I adore your recipes and take on the low carb lifestyle. Kudos to you! I found out a year ago I was type 2 diabetic. I have successfully turned that around by losing over 60 lbs and now, I am no longer diabetic. All done without exercising (given few military injuries) and only took meds for first 3 months. I love, love food like you. I tire of the "keto" label. It stresses me out too. I have maintained by just counting carbs lately. I would love to lose another 30lbs, but I hate the lack of diverse foods and the crazy ingredients or not able to find the crazy ingredients. Can't wait to see your new recipes and thank you for your guidance, help. Keep the AWESOME coming :)

Hi Myra you are so down to earth, I love your videos. My husband and I did a keto diet for bout 6 months I have chronic Kidney disease so my doctor told me to really watch my protein therefore I had to go to a low carb diet which is what works for me also. For me its all about potion control and no sweets for me i also have diabetes. But with low carbs its under control. Thank you for your low carb videos. Keep them coming. Have beautiful blessed day
