Really like this cold calling tip !, Can't wait to put in action, thank you Luis.
Thank you, Sir! Great tip!
Great job, this definitely works for anyone wondering. I personally have used this daily as a warm up. My first 5-10 calls in the morning typically. it’s an easy going call that needs very little preparation and lets you get the juices flowing. Then I dive in to more technical sales flows or opps further down the pipeline.
Nice to have the 3rd party validation haha too many sleeping on this and rather play with thomas-trash-net
How can i generate leads?
Great video .. I will definitely use this technique thanks again 😎👍🏽
This is solid info. Nice job.
Excellent video dude, keep it up
Appreciate your efforts bro🎉
Amazing, thank you.
Luis, Thank you for your videos. Grabbing lunch with you would be a great honor some day. Thank you for all the truthful information you put out there.
THANK YOU!
Very Smart my guy!!
new independent dispatcher here freight broker trained.. great content ty.. subscribed
Awesome thank you! Good luck in everything
This would work for a former trucker turned broker/agent who had delivered loads and has all the rate confirmations in his data base. I have 5 years worth of rate confirmations to every place I have ever delivered to 😅😅
Yes that’s the first place to start, bols better though brokers hide info on rate cons
So how much do you want per ratecon, i move freight for.
Great points!
Thank you!
@@freightskillsthanks... I tried this earlier and got some luck too .
Awesome video. I am going to try this process and I will let you know the outcome. I also was wonder how you designed your brokerage so that people call for help rather than you having to make hundreds of calls? I am a new freight broker and always looking for new ways to success. TIA
Yes but couldnt work in cold call scenarios
Good day,
Many customers have requested the VENDOR carrier code. I would like to know if it is important to set up as a VENDOR carrier or if they have special freights that require this information.
If anyone has information on this, please answer me. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Great video as always! On those 20-50 calls ! What is the conversion rate to activation ? Is it 2% ?
That’s where it gets tricky. It rarely takes one call. Honestly the first call is just a time to put them in a bucket. You should have 3.
1. I have a real shot here
2. I need to call them back
3. Not going to happen
Most stop at call 1 and write them off
I wouldn’t expect anything after the first call. Sometimes you’ll get an email address, you will never get an actual load. Getting anything is better than nothing that’s how you have to approach it.
How can i generate leads?
Hey man, can you make another version of this video, but for drayage please?
I think I can do that. I’ll do it for next week
I do cover that in all my programs in here freightskills.com/inner-circle
Shoot I need help getting past the gate keeper
I have a video for that search gatekeeper on my channel
U just delivered a load the other day but you never helped with frieght? Isn't delivering a load moving frieght? Wouldn't the client think that's strange if you said this ?
Not quite, delivering at a location doesn't mean that that location specifically had anything to do with the freight. there could be a number of situations where you can deliver freight somewhere and that location have nothing to do with its arrangement.
Thank you for the idea but 90% of the time this won't work because if you call the consignee and check for the freight required. He/She gonna as about the load we did with them. Anyhow they're gonna check with the current shipper of yours so you're gonna lose your upcoming business as well. So, please check possibilities before doing it .
I would say that the percentage is a lot less than 90% but I believe I did mention there are some steps to exercise some caution when doing this. I would go as far to say 90% of the time it won’t be an issue
I thought this vid was gonna go on for days.....
Did you really think that Tony? Days? Was it really that long and drawn out or perhaps do you have the attention span of an ant
@freightskills
A bit wordy would have been more polite for your long, drawn-out video. I can't deny that. Rather than find fault with my attention span, why not ask yourself if you could have made the same points in a more concise manner?
Because I don’t care for politeness to sarcastic comments from the likes of people like you
The reason I jumped to this video is because it was 7 minutes long instead of 48 minutes. Excellent work - trying these tips now. Subscribed.@@freightskills
How many calls do you use to do?
Our good agents will do 20-50 calls per day. I hate calls so i designed the brokerage now so that people call us for help rather than us having to call out.
Even with that set up 20-50 calls per day is our benchmark
Oh nice... But my management force us for more than 100 calls every day.. however we have already told him that is not going work.. quality is more important but he needs quantity of calls doesn't matter how but you have to call 100 calls very while doing other stuffs.
@@freightskills20-50 each.. or 20-50 collectively
What a drip. This is not the way to sell freight.
Ok what’s your TH-cam channel so I can get some pointers? Show us the way Tim.
He's not selling freight. He's selling a service which picks up and delivers freight . Get it right
You’re the guy watching how to make cold calls to sell lol
Did you actually deliver a load the other day or is it just a pitch?!
Can be either but I wouldn’t start the relationship off with a lie. It might work but it also might get you blacklisted from that location for being slick.
