    All of this. I did 75 hard. Only walked. Drank a gallon of water. Eating my ideal body weight in protein. I dropped 20 pounds, slayed 5 inches off my waist. Set up good habits to continue. I’m 51 and perimenopausal. Your pillars are legit

    You live in St. Pete?!?!? Hi! I'm from Tampa! Hey girl, hey! I hardly ever hear of anyone from central Florida or Tampa, St. Pete, Sarasota or Clearwater. I currently live in Missouri though. As it turns out I like having four seasons and seeing the leaves change with the seasons. But I miss the ocean and the beach. It'd be silly of me to not acknowledge how beautiful the beach is and how calming listening to the ocean is. Thankfully I bought a sound machine for sleep.😉 But it's good to know that I'm subscribed to the channel of someone from that area of Florida.
    Edit: I had to double check to make sure that I'm subscribed. And I am.

    Hi, Rachel! To be honest, I struggle with Tracy Anderson’s dance cardio (I’m on Metamorphosis) and I have to face it - I bloody dread it. I just feel like it’s so rough and tough on the body. Do you think I can just do power walking and get the same results as Tracy’s dance cardio? Of course, coupled with the muscular structure work, that’s no problem for me. Would really love to know what you think 🙏🏼 Thank you!

    I love this topic! Also you are so motivating. A few months ago I made a plan to walk or do some other form of exercise for 20-30 minutes a day. Nothing crazy or unsustainable. I was surprised how much this improved my mood. I did start slacking in the last few weeks due to some family issues and home renovations taking up my time. But I am not beating myself up about it cause I was still” active”, not sitting around. Your video today re invigorates me to get back to regular walking/rebounding/stretching/weights. If I don’t make it a big deal, it feels easy, no pressure. Thanks, love your videos

    Tbh a gallon of water is too much. There’s something called water poisoning too. You only need to drink 2-3L of water depending on your height and weight. If you’re a tiny person please don’t beat yourself up about drink a gallon of water everyday. You’ll probably suffer from micronutrients and vitamin deficiencies

I'm starting tomorrow!! (it's 9:30pm for me now, otherwise I'd start today!). I ordered Hamelin's Model 1 course, only $53 for 10 workouts that you can keep forever?! Amazing. Traditionally I've been a kettlebell girl but hearing your message about doing less I'm ready to try that. Also, the cellerciser-I have one as well as a bellicon I got the ultra strong cords for. I have to admit, I really love me my bellicon. With those ultra strong cords the resistance is ALMOST as good as the cellerciser, but I know for muscle building the cellerciser is king. Blessings to you lovely woman. Can't imagine anyone hating on you here. You are adorable and so helpful 😘💟

I am trying the 75 Medium method on your advice. I am wondering given your interest in fascia health (I think???!) Im glad you did 75 medium and not hard as hard can be so taxing on womens bodies especially. I also think you got good results from doing easier exercises most days so your cortisol wasnt consistently elevated. I wish a challenge like the RevMe Challenge got as much attention as 75 hard/soft/medium gets as its more about building foundational beneficial habits for the long haul vs pushing yourself for a period of time. Probably great to do after something like a 75 challenge picking the habits you want to see stick. Anyways keep up the great work....so glad you're back!

Couple thoughts: fast like a girl doesn’t work if you are on contraceptives of any hormones, I’ve looked into that. I also think you have to keep changing it up as you age, what works one year, doesn’t the next. It’s so hard! I’m in my mid-40s discovering this and constantly tweaking. My workouts are nearly identical to yours, and low impact and low cardio is so much easier on your body if you want to avoid joint issues or feeling constantly hungry from crazy cardio. My recent hack: majorly upping my protein. Easy! Duh why didn’t I do this earlier?! Mostly bc I’m not a big meat eater, but it really makes an impact on your frame & feeling satiated.

    😊 happy to see your return and truly hope you had a nourishing, restorative break. I haven’t watched all of this yet but wanted to say thank you so much -I use castor oil, bounce away on my rebounder and regularly -ish do Hamelin D’bell (which are quite emotional for me as they remind me of Barre work I used to do in dance when I was a kid and made /make me so happy) in large part down to your recommendations… please don’t suggest anything like sky-diving or yodelling because there is a reasonable (55-72%) chance that I would try them
    All very best to you

      This really warms my heart. It really is motivating for me to keep at it. I promise no sky-diving or yodeling, unless of course, some crazy studies come out suggesting it’s the fountain of youth 😂

    Aww, Rachel, you are lovely! I don't watch a lot of videos like this but, so glad I did. It's like listening to a wise and intelligent girlfriend. You are so helpful. I relate to a lot of what you shared and learned a lot, too. I have been toying with doing 75 Hard for months. I am going for it after listening to your words and your experience. Thank you, sister and good human. xo

    Hi Rachel!! Where do I get Hamelin’s arm workout? I see his model 1 (not the MET/new) on his website, but I don’t see the arm workout. Also, what do you think about rebounding vs vibration plate?

    This is an amazing video and I’m sharing it with friends! I will confess I’m not ready to go with a cellerciser but I did buy a cheap rebounder :) and I also loved the breakers palm beach sweatshirt you wore! I work in tourism in the palm beaches LOL

    • @RundownwithRachel
      @RundownwithRachel  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you! I started with a cheap rebounder too. It can be nice to start there and see if you actually like it and will do it because so many of these things can become another novelty! Gosh I LOVE THE BREAKERS talk about expensive! But it is just MAGICAL! As is Palm Beach!
