      would imagine that you've looked into this but just in case, what type of tech products get views? my gut says it's not 32'' 4k gaming monitors, maybe some stupid android phones or laptops that you don't feel passionate about, but just do it for the views and get the channel growing... the other thing worth thinking about is, do you wish to be known as a specialist or generalist? both can work. not talking about MKBHD or LTT... dave2d is kind of laptop guy while randomfrankp is a generalist, so you could get to 2-3m subs either way. the type of products matter a lot, you can be da man in an area but still don't have a lot of followers just cuz it's a bit niche, like optimum or zy.

      Hi Bijan! Just wanted to say that you seem more natural/relaxed in these recent videos and I like that better than the previous serious feel IMO. For the monitor reviews, would it be possible for you to include the type of screen finish they have? For these 4K types that are all about looks/immersion rather than performance, it makes a huge difference if it is glossy or matte (please check Dave2D's video "How Has Nobody Made This Before?")
      Also, as a tip I would try to picture yourself in the mind of what kind of consumer/audience you want to target with the title. This 4K/144Hz that has speakers, a mic, and is 32" is just about THE specs you want for the modern console gamer, because the controller player can play more relaxed and distanced from the monitor (32" helps) and they want a plug-n-play all-inclusive package (speakers, remote, etc). Having HDMI 2.1 is actually rather new on monitors too, which is the only option for 4K/120HZ on console.
      All that is to say, in short, the title could be more clickbait for the audience like "THE BEST CONSOLE MONITOR?" because people don't really search for the name such as "EX3210U". The video could also be a little more tailored for each product's audience so example if it's one better for console casuals, focus first on the why should they consider buying it, and leave the other technical stuff like color accuracy, professional work, etc more for the end and shorter time (the person that is that technical/professional is going to watch the full review anyway).

    Thanks for always showing the Low Blue Light option, it's actually a big deal for me. It'd be helpful if you could also demonstrate it, some monitors just turn the orange up while others have smart bluelight where the colors stay almost the same.

    Been using it for a few days now and I have to say I love it. For me it's better than the MSI monitor, main reason being is that I use my monitor's mostly at night and this one is a lot easier on my eyes. It still has a really wide color gamut and I felt like performance was actually better on this model as well. I also love the way everything was packaged. I'm all about picture quality, so for me it's the perfect monitor. I absolutely love the remote, I never have to get up and hit any buttons on the monitor ever again. Awesome review, Glad I picked it up.

    The Xbox series X has Gears 5 Multiplayer which supports the full 4K @ 120fps bandwidth range. It’s truly unreal how well that game is optimized for the console, and how great it looked at such a demanding graphical scale. Would definitely recommend trying that with this monitor, if you ever get the chance.

    Any chance of you doing the EX3210R? There are very few reviews for it, and even less that show any example of what the backlight bleed/black smearing situation is like with it. I recently RMA'd its predecessor (EX3203R) due some pretty terrible black smearing... but it was a shame, because it was otherwise great. I'd be very interested in a panel like it, if those issues were much improved.

    32 inch at 4k is really the best size, saying this as a current LG 27GP950-B monitor owner. It's the best balance of density and clarity.

    • @ActionBrother
      @ActionBrother 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean that 27" is just a little too small for 4K and that 32" would be better? It probably also depends on the scaling you are gonna apply and if you want a sharper screen (f.e. 200%) or more real estate to work with (f.e. 150%). 32" would probably be beter for cinematic games, while 27" would probably be better for (competitive) shooters?... Altough you can always position your screen closer or further away...

    • @marvcyber815
      @marvcyber815 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ActionBrother I like 32 inch monitors because its easier on the eyes in terms of eye strain and less nearsightedness because i can push the monitor farther away without losing too much coverage in my field of view and its too niche to take advantage the clarity bonus that the 27inch 4k provides
      while i think 27 inch 1440p 240Hz/270Hz monitors are great for do-it-all, 27 inch are too niche in competitive shooters, because it's too grainy and worse performance in 1080p vs 25 inch and too expensive to run in 1440p and in 4k some shooters will have hud scaling issues (usually too small), but maybe it has uses in competitive shooters where you pixel peep a lot like PUBG and Rust
      So for me the only argument i can see for 27 inch 4k is better price performance and performance vs 32 inch 4k because 32 inch 4K response times are like 2017~2018 27 inch 4k era especially the relevant HDR stuff like the pg32uqx
      Maybe samsung with their neo g8 32 inch 4k 240Hz hdr 2000 they announced at CES can shake things up but i have to see it to believe it because that is some CRAZY SPECS on a monitor and maybe needs a RDNA 4 or Hopper GPU to fully take advantage of

    This is the problem for me these days. Monitors come either under equiped or over equiped with tech and features I don't want or even need but increases the price.
    I bought the LG 34GN850 but had to send it back. Dead pixels and apparently I get sick from curved displays... (even still after 3 weeks of testing).
    Is it so hard to provide a good monitor these days?! I would love a 27" or preferably in my case a 32" IPS 4K 144Hz monitor with good response times, good/low input lag, good colors and good contrast (true 1000:1 or better, but not 850:1), with HDMI 2.1 48Gbps (and not 24Gbps) and without dead pixels or problems for the price of around €/$ 750.
    My only decent option is the Gigabyte M32U right now.

The HDR is so beautiful, tested so far with GOW, Cyberpunk and Elden Ring. Ok it's not real HDR, but like PG32uq or MPG321UR-QD which also are 600 nits so.....And what I like on the Mobiuz is having 3 different HDR modes which let you choose the one you prefer. the struggle i have with this monitor is... it offers nothing new, still slow ips and you ought to admit, that red accent is a misfortune, it won't match the rest of your gear. low brightness is a dealbreaker to many, considering you now have quite a few alts in the 32'' 4k 144hz bracket. the speaker and microphone stuff is cool but it's really peripheral, you can get a pair of cheap stereo speakers and still come out ahead. that's why lg 32gq950 is so exciting, it's going to be the first fast ips with this spec... after that who knows, it's mini/micro led vs oled.

    1. For PS5 and Xbox Series X: THIS or MSI MPG321UR-QD?
    2. HDR for console? Wich is better?

    • @armen1136
      @armen1136 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you game mostly in a darker room than I would get the BenQ, The MSI is amazing but way too bright in darker rooms. I wouldn't purchase Either monitor for the HDR, They offer a pretty terrible HDR experience because both lack the hardware to support true HDR. If you don't care about having a remote, speakers, and being able to adjust color vibrance, Then you'd be better off just getting the MSI. Both work great with consoles, But I found the BenQ works a bit better because they made the monitor with the newest consoles in mind and optimized the monitor to work really well when paired with the PS5 and Series X.

    Been looking for a 32 4k 144hz monitor, but every single one has problems that make it not worth paying the amount of money for it. I tried the gigabyte m32u FOUR times because all the units I received had backlight bleed and to top it off my 4th one had a dead/stuck pixel with backlight bleed. At this point I have my consoles just sitting here and not being used cause I have no display. I was going to buy the asus pg32uq, but oh boy the reviews on that are a nightmare.

      @@GOWClan I had some flickering issues with adaptive sync with the MSI monitor, But turning off adaptive sync fixes the issues. Also had an issue where the panel wouldn't always come back from sleep. The BenQ monitor so far has been awesome, but it's not perfect, The maximum brightness is definitely not great for daytime use, It's fine at night though. It also has some color banding issues with blacks, Never seen color banding on any other monitor but this one has it in certain situations.

      @@armen1136 I can’t see myself spending $1,100 on a monitor that has very low brightness. It just doesn’t make sense why a monitor at that price has such poor brightness… the MSI mpg321ur has mainly everything that the benq has. 2k at 60HZ & some games at 120HZ on consoles is more then good enough… hell! even 1080p at 60hz is still impressive for consoles.
    This new panel is over kill, very few games on console are hitting that 4K 120HZ and by the time there are enough titles to justify buying this monitor the price of it will drop… hang in there players don’t buy this overpriced gadget… be patient wait it out.
