Part 2 Vintage 1959 Bear Archery Kodiak Special Range test

This is Part 2 of my review of the Vintage 1959 Bear Archery Kodiak Special Target Recurve bow.
I test the speed, accuracy, Shoot ability and over all feel of this more than 63-year-old Bow. What I found after shooting this bow really surprised me.

That's one beautiful bow! I have the 61' Bear Polar 60# with the glacier blue fiberglass that shoots beautifully and is a gorgeous bow! Can't beat vintage Bear bows!

That bow is slick. And for $80 that’s a steal. Need to find me an old kodiak or kodiak deluxe, been looking for a little while now.

I frequent a traditional archery shop that has been open in the early 70's. I was advised of the aluminum in some of the Bear Bows and of some of the problems/concerns with them, but they are some beautiful looking bows.

I just acquired a '55 Kodiak Special in superb condition. I didn't know much about it, so I appreciated viewing your videos on this '59. I'm curious on your thoughts - would it be sacrilege to hunt with this bow? After learning more, I'm wondering if I should just keep it for league nights at the local archery range.

Not at all this bow was born to hunt and I think can hunt with the best of them...Good Luck this year... Hey you just gave me an idea I think I will do a video on a bow hunt with a Bear Vintage Bow...Stay tuned

I’d love to hear your opinion on the static tip bear line. I used the early 60s kodiak k6 and absolutely loved it. Bear build a reproduction version of the k4 static but I never got my hands on one.

I have never shot one I have been trying to find an old one or one of the new ones to review. I will keep looking and as soon as I can get my hands on one you can bet it will be reviewed.
