Dude, phenomenal work here. This was genuinely a joy to watch and I'm ecstatic that someone took the time to make a real TAS of this category. Thank you very much for making this!
This TAS is truly a masterpiece & so satisfying to watch on its own (no commentary - eventhough I enjoyed the commentary with you & Dayoman). I can see the attention to detail you put in to fully optimizing the movement. Wizard's Peak supercharge actually made me laugh in amazement. Now having Dayo's fastest human run & your most opimized TAS I can rest in peace at Stone Hill's shore line. Thanks Mans!
You have done such a phenomenal work here man You know what I was waiting for a spyro 120 tas to come since 2016 thank you for making the dream a reality 😊
I watched the whole thing. That was super satisfying and interesting to watch. Thank you so much mans for the time, dedication, planing and brain power you put into this! Incredible work!
This was such a fun watch, I was grinning like an idiot most of the time because some of the routes and small details took me so off-guard! Thanks for doing this!
Me: [sigh] alright, what are you guys blabbering on about? TAS: [power jump] Me: Hmm... nice. TAS: [wall clip] Me: ...WHAT IN THE EVERLOVING F#Tr6379r^#
Could you elaborate on "early game movement can be improved by a few seconds from using niche mechanics that i did not figure out how to do properly until later in the run"? Very curious.
yes so there is 2 main things i was referring to here: flame dissociation power jumps flame dissociation basically makes the hitbox for the flame disconnect from infront of spyro which happens most effectively if you to do a jump flame charge then walk/jump until you're realigned optimally then recharge before the flame hits to still get the flame charge but you're facing a much better angle to take tighter lines. most clear example of this is at 44:34, the 2nd monkey. you can also get a dissociation from doing a charge glide (41:30 on the 4th shrub i do a single frame glide) power jumps are gotten by either doing skitter jumps up a sloped edge then letting go of charge causing spyro to flop or by doing magic stairs then letting go of square also flops spyro sometimes. the flop is important as you can jump out of the flop causing spyro to carry momentum from that flop so he gains height faster and has a higher jump (46:56) also theres a very weird power jump that is different to what i just explained that works on very specific edges 1:00:42 is the only example of this in the tas i believe, just carries alot of momentum
the tas has really bad dog cycles so you need to wait over a second for their gems to drop therefore its faster to respawn to reset cycles coincidentally its also a single frame faster than rescuing the dragon normally because if you do that it spawns you in a bad place
@@leftear8010 yes it would be even faster on FDS because for that specific dragon the load times are the same on any platform so FDS gains a further ~10 frames on loading the respawn
Imagine being Gnasty Gnorc; you imprison 74 dragons, and 6 of them a second time. Plus turns thousands of gems into minions, only for it to be undone in 1 hour 😂
He did go through all exit portals in Gnasty’s World ONLY (no need to go through all portals). To access Gnasty’s Loot, you need to reach 100% (12000 Gems & 80 Dragons) which he did after defeating/exiting Gnasty’s lvl & collecting the last bit of gems in Gnorc Gnexus (aka Gnasty’s World)
@@JCPrince705 i definitely heard somewhere you had to go through literally every single exit. hm... whoever told me that must've just gotten their info wrong. thanks!

22:07 my man really said "wii crashing noise"
I don’t know anything about Spyro speedrunning but that super charge running through everyone at 50:20 was nuts
Man, I clicked on the video and your comment came first, then I clicked 50:20 and was like WTH IS THIS????
is it even possible to do it normally?

51:02 that jump off the wall was absolutely insane Id idn't even know you could do that.
That Twilight Harbor supercharge sequence was orgasmic.
When you talked to the balloonist in beast makers, it was cray.
Nice work ggs
There is something super satisfying watching a TAS break the game in half using the supercharge mechanic in the levels that allow it.
GG, what an absolutely masterpiece and a milestone in Spyro 1: The Dragon history
That Haunted Towers 🤌
46:56 such a sick jump
Me: [sigh] alright, what are you guys blabbering on about?
TAS: [power jump]
Me: Hmm... nice.

Me: ...WHAT IN THE EVERLOVING F#Tr6379r^#
50:19 _brother_ *WHAT* did I just witness
masterpiece
GG on making this so quickly
Just... the entirety of magic crafters. Supercharge instantly took it to a whole nother level.
sick tas man! the movement is so swaggy. i got so hyped seeing red supercharge smoke in tree tops, lol. i barely ever see red supercharge smoke
you love to see it!
Nice work!!!
10:23 the hounds banging into each other, I didn't know it was possible😂
45:15 sick
this is so fucking cool. it hurts my brain thinking about how much work went into this.
How did you input those quick turns while supercharging in high caves?
0:51 it’s been
Nice!

What is that noise?! 22:09
Funny how I looked up no glitches in all caps and then we see a glitch immediately after the first level
😂

Sonebody really went through and skipped ALL the loading screens and animations with sponsorblock -_-
Windows Sound Effect
Can you do the any% TAS?
How?! 38:24
That's what I'm asking??
p ranking spyro the dragon
insane
