- This is a tool-assisted 100% speedrun of Luigi's Mansion. 100% requirements include:
-All 50 Boos
-All Portrait Ghosts
-A Rank at the end of the game (minimum 100,000,000 G collected)
TAS timing starts from console power on and ends on final input (selecting 'No' to the save prompt after the final area clear cutscene).
RTA timing starts from file select and ends on the first visual frame King Boo fully enters the vacuum.

I know this is routed as to where the money left behind doesnt matter but it still physically hurts to see you ignore money and just letting it despawn

King boo: has 500 hp and can be 1 cycled
Bootique: has 300 hp and can not be 1 cycled even with a tas
actually bootique can be 1 cycled, it's just faster to suck up both boos
Huh? I'm talking about the boo in the artist's studio! The only boo that even the tas couldn't suck up before it left the room!

Massive congrats for working on this, especially on the routing for 100,000,000G and the Out of Bounds glitches! It was so cool to see so many so many new tricks finally in one complete package.

This TAS was incredible, though I must say, it stinks that Bogmire portrait was silver frame. All the rest were gold. I understand why it was, but the inner OCD in me is just like noooooooo.

Wow, what an amazing watch. Everything I would want in a TAS - clean, efficient and with a personality. Which leaves me wanting more.
This probably took so long to do so I feel boring for asking this - can we see a max % any time soon? Would be an astonishing watch
soon? definitely not. ever? maybe! the idea of doing a PAL max% TAS definitely tempts me from time to time, but i'm taking a break from TASing at the moment.

Why did you open the chest at 40:29? Surely getting just 1 coin out of it wasn’t worth the time loss of opening it?
If the chest wasn't opened, it would have prompted an additional cutscene to play when re-entering the room after coming back from rooftop. Taking the time to collect the bills also would have been too slow for how much they're worth despite this.

I cannot believe you ended on 100,000,000 exactly, did you happen to be close and just rerouted part of it or was that the plan from the outset?
it was never going to end any other way :p
the money route was like 95% finalized by the time work started on the movie itself. the exact number of pearl dupes I would be able to get was a little up in the air throughout the creation process but it ended up being way more than I anticipated, so I was able to cut out almost all of the slower money spots I thought I might need. A couple minor things I would change on a second pass but I'm quite happy with how it turned out!

I'm not usually interested in TAS's but this was really fun to watch! Super impressive how fast the game can be beaten

17:45 I know it says in the description that 100% is just all ghosts and the best ending, and getting every last bill and coin is a time drain, but seeing a whole emerald disappear and Luigi walking past a sapphire hurt a lot. The super clean destruction of Boolossus easily made up for it.

Is the clip to get into Area 2 early something that can be technically performed at any time, or is it reliant on temporary factors? If it's the former, could it be possible to skip collecting Chauncey's key?

Do you think catching the boo in the nursery while picking up the key could save time. Maybe it would ask you to save then you could reset skipping the egad cutscene and ghost portrait cutscene.
The game actually ends up bugging out I believe. It only works on mario items and keys that aren't from area bosses
As nice as it is to see a 100% TAS, I wish it had gotten 100% money and all gold portraits.
