Can I make this cute?? | Extreme DIY Oak Cabinet Makeover

  • In today's video I take an old, outdated rolling cabinet made of oak veneer and try to make it cute. Can I make this cute? In this diy oak cabinet makeover, I certainly try! Oak is not very trendy right now, and although it's okay to have furniture that is not "on-trend" I really wanted to give this cabinet/TV stand some new life and make it over in a more modern style! I love the mid-century inspired legs, and the faux cane (also faux burlap) backing I added on.
And there were many frustrations along the way. I'm still working on patience :)
    Thanks for watching!

How nice to see someone who ends up splattered with paint. I've been starting to think that everyone else in the world keeps clean while painting as in a lot of the other furniture flipping videos I've watched, people paint in good clothing and somehow manage to keep it clean! I like how you explain what went wrong too!

I had to laugh listening to you. I think you should have at least 2 pieces on the go at different stages. Then you will always have something to work on. PS. Be careful with working in bare feet if you have carpet.

Haha! Roberta that was part of my problem hahaha I was working on this AND another piece at the same time and being impatient and getting frustrated. Next time I will just take more deep breaths :)
