  • Ube Chiffon Cake
    Ingredients
    3 (L) egg yolks
    3 tbsp white sugar
    1/4 tsp salt
    3 & 1/2 tbsp water
    2 & 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
    1 tsp ube flavoring
    purple food color
    3 tbsp (42g) purple sweet potato(steamed & mashed)
    1/2c ( 52g ) cake flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    3 egg whites
    3 tbsp white sugar
    1 tsp lemon juice
    1c (200ml) heavy cream
    1& 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    Ube halaya / Purple sweet potato jam
    170℃ for 30 minutes

    Pano po gawing airy and fluffy ang cake bread? Gumawa po kasi ako medyo matigas yung bread ko. Any tips po?

      @jessica nepomuceno , cake flour ang gamitin mo at gumamit ka ng malamig na egg whites. Ilagay mo sa freezer ng mga 6 minutes or more ang egg whites mo bago mo sya i-beat. At huwag haluin ng matagal ang meringue sa cake batter.Thank you.

      @Camal Usman , refrigerate muna ng ilang oras bago I-serve. Now depende kung gaano kainit ang loob ng bahay, mga 2-3 hours ok pa. Thanks for watching.

    pwede hndi na sya ilagay s boil water?

      Hindi ko ma suggest ang nestle cream kasi hindi sya stable pang frosting or gawing whipped cream sa cake.
