    Thank you for this recipe mam. First time ko po mag bake and I used this po. I'm glad na okay ang kinalabasan nya, hnd lang tlaga ako marunong pa mag design. I love the taste po Tama lang ang tamis nya sabi ng aking mga taga tikim hehe. Btw I used 8"x4" pan kaya 1hr ang baking time ko. God bless po!

    hi po, Ms. Jhoanienie, salamat po sa recipe na binabahagi mo, " Lalo ng po yung HALF RECIPE na gustong gusto ko gawin dahil sa tulad ko na pang bahay at mini cake lang po ang gustong gawin, para sa aking pamilya,, ikaw lang po kc ang nag bibigay ng half recipe sa tulad ko din first time gawin ang mga cake .. sya nga pala nagawa ko po yung CHOCOLATE CAKE nyo, masarap po soft at moist po gustong gusto ng pamilya ko.. salamat po uli more recipe pa po at more subscribers to come....

      aw. salamat ms.jen. naku, nahiya naman ako. di ata lahat ng recipe ko is naka half po. in case kailanganin mo, comment ka lang. i h half ko for u basta mabasa ko comment mo po. medyo madami na kasi kaya na m missed out ko po minsan.

      i always use magnolia gold unsalted and bakers best margarine. im not sure though if it the best butter. just my personal preference.😊

    Hi Miss Jhoanienie, as always po, palagi po perfect ang gawa ko after watching your tutorials. Sa iba kasi, pumapalpak po gawa ko. Ginawa ko po itong ube chiffon with swiss meringue buttercream at yong chiffon mango cake sa birthday ng husband ko. Marami pong nagtatanong kun magkano ang price ko sa ube cake at sa mango cake. Medyo nahihirapan po ako sa pagcosting. 🙂

      mas ok na chilled sana. though ok naman sya sa weather natin kahit room temp. pero if sa stability, mas ok ang imbc po.

      di ko pa po na try un smbc with whippit po. pero bagay din naman ang whipped cream na lang instead of buttercream sa ube cake. ☺️ or better use italian meringue buttercream (IMBC) na lang para mas stable po.

      pede i store sa ref ang smbc ms.elvie, though ako, mas prefer ko kasi na di mag store kasi i r rewhip mo din po kasi sya. tapos sa experience ko mas better quality pag bagong gawa po.

    Hi mam pag buttercream ang frosting dapat always nka fridge ? Tapos ang water ganache halimbawa mag frosting ngayun bukas pa e deliver pwede kahit wala sa fridge?

      un buttercream ideally dapat sana nasa chiller po pero kaya naman nya mag stay sa room temp din. depende sa klase ng buttercream po. mas stable ang imbc and un may halong shortening po.
      ang water ganache, pede sya sa room temp for days po. no need i chill.😊

      hindi po advisable if pang display tpos naka room temp lang sa buttercream kasi. medyo di friendly sa weather natin. pero if want mo tlaga i try, pinaka ok na ang imbc sa room temp except don sa may mga shortening po.

    Question lang po, okay lang po ba iref ang chiffon? I used Canola oil.
    Kasi magbake po sana ako ng ube chiffon with leche flan filling. Sa Nov. 21 po yung occasion pero 19 ko sya ibe-bake and frosting (whipped cream) kasi aalis ako sa 20.
    Okay pa po ba sya sa ref hanggang 21?
    Sana po mapansin. Thank you! 💜

      pede po kung ano ang gusto nyo gamitin. halos same lang po sila. pede sila pagpalitin. mas stable lang po ang imbc. if chilled naman cakes mo po, ok lang kahit si smbc.😊

      for the smbc? i suggest use whole recipe na po. unless thin lang po ung filling and un naka coat sa swiss roll po. 1 recipe is enough na. more than what you need na but alanganin if half i think. ma frosting din kasi ako.😅

      I have tried it and it works well po, this is the first time that my icing was very successful. Mg work po ba itong icing na ito sa lhat ng klase ng cake? Any more recommendation po kng ano pa ang ibang icing na mdli gawin at mdli gamitin sa cakes

      yes. pede po. pero wait mo muna na mag thicken enough na ok sya pang drip.
      use more chocolate or less cream if want mo ng mas malapot po. chill saglit your cake bago mag drip.😊

      yes po. dapat malamig muna sya. baka matunaw din un frosting lalo na of buttercream or ganache eh. if buttercream or ganache, mag crumb coat muna. manipis na frosting lang para ma seal un mga crumbs. then chill mo saglit gang mag firm lang onti then add another layer ng frosting. if mga wjipped cream and boiled. pede din mag crumb coat pero di na need i chill po.

      tuloy tuloy lang po hanggang lumamig. di naman po ma overbeat. pede din naman po na ilagay sya sa fridge pag nag stiff peak na sya. wait till lumamig bago i add si butter. para maka rest din si mixer. pero ako po, tuloy tuloy na.

      2 1/4 c cake flour = 2 c less 4 1/2 tablespoon all purpose flour plus 4 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
      sift 3 to 5 times po.❤️

      smbc and imbc, naka bakers best (margarine) lang po ako madalas. if pang mga filling, minsan naka magnolia gold unsalted po. either lang sa kanilang dalawa (as of today). ☺️

      ms.lyn, ok lang ba if sakto half recipe na lang? para mas madali adjust recipe po.😅 1 1/8 c lang un flour pag half recipe kasi. 1 c plus 2 tbsp lang bali.
      tpos 1 1/2 tbsp ung ube powder na need if half recipe po.

      di ko po maalala un ginamit ko for drip. chineck ko sa description di ko din tlaga na note dati pa. pero pede gamitin cream or water po. pede kahit 6:1 na ratio same sa water ganache. nasa waiting time lang naman ang importante sa drips po. if di pa sya thick, hayaan lang until mag set pa. 😊

      americolor na liquid na for airbrush po.
      un iba is nag d dilute lang ng gel food color sa alcohol (gin or vodka).

      chefmaster or americolor pa lang na try ko po eh. pero dapat super halo kasi minsan may buo buo pa. mag stock sa airbrush po. wala po dyan americolor na for airbrush para mas ok po? 😊

      haven't tried using ube halaya with this recipe po. but i have another ube chiffon with ube halaya. ube custard cake po. less the custard na lang if you only need the chiffon po.😊

    Hi! What’s the purpose of ube powder po ba? Is it just for coloring? I did your recipe exactky but the mixture without the egg whites were very thick. The ube powder I used was the Giron Ube powder, i think its the dehydrated ube. I added na lang water 1/4 cup but the batter was still not as smooth as yours. I hope I do not have to re do it without the ube powder.

      hi. sorry for late reply. flavoring din ang ube powder. instead of ube halaya, sya ung ginagamit po. im not familiar kasi sa giron ube powder. i used pureblends kasi all the time. kaya di ako sure if dahil don. sure po kaya na walang na skip na liquid ingredients? if wala, baka dahil sa ube po. hindi ko honestly sigurado why. now ko lang na encounter un ganong case po kasi. konti lang naman un flour nya enough sa liquid ingredients naman.

      either bakers best (margarine) or magnolia unsalted po if real butter (taste better) ako sa buttercream. both are tested na. sa video na to is bakers best, cheaper po.😊
