    Just curious. Why do you have to warm the mixture? What difference will it do to the mixture. Thanks.

    What is 'cake flour' exactly please- never heard of it before

      MW hi, cake flour is self raising flour that has been extra sieved, in the uk a brand name of one is Homepride, it is a great self raising flour for cakes like sponge. Hope that helps. 👍

      @@MW-cj8fg cake flour isn't self rising flour. Cake flour is a finely milled, delicate flour with a low protein content; it's usually bleached. ... The primary difference between cake flour and all-purpose (AP) flour is the protein content (which becomes gluten).

      Self-rising flour is flour with the baking powder and a bit of salt already added.

      @Shaikh Imtiyaz , lemon juice alternative sa cream of tartar. Marami kasi hindi kilala ang cream of tartar or walang available sa kanilang lugar. Thank you.
