I really like the boat content. I used to have my own Jetski shop back in the 80's. I spent a lot of time repairing and racing them. Another great video!!!
lol “charge for full engine rebuild to teach em a lesson" 😂. What do you use to clean old tanks with slight orange/bad gas residue? You mentioned you would clean it off and had to wonder. Even for old gas cans that may have sat too long. Thanks!
I’ve never had one that bad but draining and flushing with fresh fuel will usually yield good results. If it is too far gone (solid varnish) it would need elbow grease if you can get to it or simply replaced)
@@restoroosterohv thank you sir! I have gotten different opinions on this from random sources, and wanted to see if you had a preferred method. I usually just use gas too. I always think back to a generator I had that I ended up trashing, when I should have just fixed it up. You make repairing anything a rational process and combined with your experience. It’s fun to watch. Thank you!
Just purchased a yamaha 1200xlt for 900 dollars the guy was running it and oil feed lines came off and destroyed a cylinder I'm in the process of rebuilding it now everyone on line says zip ties break that's not it the oil lines from factory shrink and pop off replace oil lines people !!
Love the ski repair videos. cool to see these vintage machines getting back out on the lake.
Thank you for your comment
