Yes there is a screw on the shifter assembly where you can adjust the tension on the shift levers. Another thing you can try if you're not happy with how the seats turned out, sem vinyl coat. it's actually a vinyl upholstery paint in a can. You won't believe how good the seats will look and how durable it is. I've used it many times over the years. Make sure you use their vinyl prep
Man! I had no idea you were on here with this Gr8 “Need 2 Know Info”. I’m glad I haven’t started on my sportster I bought last year. It has (2) 657X ROTAX engines. It does ok except sometimes one engine or the other don’t want to start whirl we are in the lake having fun. Anyway. Thanks for the knowledge.
Great job on that machine. Been thinking of adding something like this to my collection. Did not know about the wear sleeves in the propulsion unit! Thanks
Had one from new out of the London boat show year's ago! Loved every minute of it. Used on the see off of the Isle of Wight out of Bembridge harbour. Travelled across the Solent to the main land many times. Hope you have as much fun as I did 🙏 Forget to say 360 spins were my speciality 😊
@restoroosterohv I ended up working at the Isle of Wight Seadoo dealer for 6 years and yes, carburettors were always a bit of a problem, especially as they were used in the sea. Good luck for the future 🙏
It helps but not always an easy drop in as in this case. If you reference the video at approximately 38:40 I make mention of pulling them out of the freezer to install. Thank you for watching in for your comment.
It’s funny you posted this. I was looking at the same boat a week ago, it was in great condition. The guy who had only took it out 2 times, he said it was to rough on the water and he preferred his pontoon boat. He was selling it for $1500. Wish I would have bought it now
@@restoroosterohv just make sure you change out the oil lines. Usually it’s the lines that break not the oil pump itself. And also for future reference check out Osd marine. They have tons of parts
Great video Resto!! Been running through all of your videos, whether it’s relatable to what I’m working on or not I’m watching them all! Actually have 2 of these similar boats both broke down, trying to piece 2 into 1.
Super interesting! Thanks for showing us something different! Always a pleasure watching your videos!
Thank you. Always a pleasure reading your comments.

Haha thanks. It was sort of frustrating at the time.

I have trouble starting mine sometimes after hanging out at the beach but I have worked out the procedure. Thanks for watching and for your comment.

Very common in these boats but super easy to do yourself. Thank you

We are absolutely enjoying it although it has some starting and acceleration off of idle issues. Time to go through the carbs.

@bazzer621 thank you
Good job fixing that up. Looks like a lot of fun!
Thank you. I think it will be
If you don't have a press for the wear rings, put them in the freezer for 30 minutes they will usually slide right in

Wow, that would have been a great price.
Great video!!! Looks like lots of fun.
Thank you. It will be.
The 717 is the best non rave valve motor seado ever made. They are nearly indestructible!
That’s good news. This boat already has one new engine, so something must’ve happened but I hope it lasts a long time for me or at least this summer

@ToddleyProductions thanks, good tip

Thank you
The Master of knowledge!
I don’t know about that, especially with boats but thank you.
Interesting video I learned a few things 👍🏻
Thank you
Try CLR you can buy it anywhere it works good
I have some under the sink but haven’t yet had a chance to try it. I feel pretty confident it will work.
I can hear the excitement in your voice 😂 but seriously great video bro!
Haha thank you.
