I just want to assure that my engine will work properly in the very hot outside temperatures, and I think this is the right way, but will it really work without hoses changed? For a casual ride, not a track.
Yes, we tested the intake a fair bit and were able to keep heat soak to a minimum

Can you recommend one of your FMIC for a 2018 civic hatchback sport stock turbo? Not planning on upgrading the turbo!

Do the OEM air ducts HAVE to be cut? Ideally I'd prefer to retain them. Or is there a way to remove them without cutting?
You have the option of removing that piece altogether but this will require much more work.
What was the purpose of the adapters at 3:55? After that, I don’t see them anymore throughout the video.
The additional adapter are included for use on aftermarket intercooler piping like the type we offer. This system was used to allow for both stock pipes as well as aftermarket pipes.
If I reflashed my Honda Civic hatch back 2019 sport, will this intercooler fit my car ?
You should have no issues fitting the intercooler with you re-flash

Hi i have a query i will be installing the intercooler with the stock piping...would there be a turbo lag on it and do I have to retune the car when I install it?
You will notice a slight delay in power vs the stock unit but we designed the intercooler to minimize this as much as possible. You will not require a tune to install the intercooler.

A tune will often help to compensate for this delay

This has not been tested on the HRV.
Greetings friend, I want to know if these pipes come with the entrance to be able to put Water methanol on it?
They do not, however, you could use Mishimoto part number MMFT-NZL-18BK in order to add it into any of the silicone hoses.

This bung requires cutting a 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) hole in your hose or coupler. Mishimoto recommends using a gasket punch to avoid fraying and tearing.
Can I install this in my Honda Civic sport touring 2018 1.5l stock ?
As long as you have the 1.5 turbocharged engine, this should fit without any issues.
Did you ever install the intercooler, if so.... any turbo lag or loss of torque?
Is this Intercooler CARB certified for use in CA?
Will it affect SMOG?
This intercooler is not CARB certified at the moment and would affect you passing SMOG

You can swap the intercooler on these without other modification.
Will a tune be required if I put this on my stock civic?
No tune, but you may as well save your money for something faster

It will not be a direct-fit and may require some additional modification.

How many HP adds up?
The intercooler and pipes will add around 4 whp and 8 ft-lbs torque on stock tuning. More can be had with a proper tune.
