great video very well explained. just a question about the smallest third hose coming from the top of the filler tube area, does it have to be disconnected as well? thanks
Is the fuel pump located underneath the bed or cab . If under the bed I’m just cut a access hole and pull the pump out . I’m a union sheet metal worker cutting and putting the patch out is a lot easier than dropping the tank.

Wow, that truck needed a new fuel pump assembly at 87K miles. That's early! Mine is just now having issues around 190k.

Better to use a brass chisel or punch. Steel on steel can make a spark. Brass on steel won't.

Much easier to just lift the bed.
Not if you have a couple bolts that just spin on you that won’t allow you to remove bed.
Where is the fuel filter?
