I think a pure ghost Phantump would try and possess an already possessed object, which would then cause it to become Twintump: a two headed Phantup with one missing a head and just being floating eyeballs. When it evolves, no special anything just evolves at level 37, it becomes Polyrent: the second Phantump takes control and absorbs all other Phantump around it creating a hive mind of Phantump.
Feel free to draw what you think this would look like
Maybe this child died in an unknown or undisclosed location and is based on the fear of being forgotten, explaining why the first one becomes part of the hive-mind and not in control. It gets forgotten unrecognisable to any other phantump in the hive mind. Maybe at level 37 it would evolve if it had low enough friendship, you weren’t paying it any attention (perhaps levelling it up with exp candy or the exp share) and so the other phantump seizes power whilst the first one is vulnerable.

For exemple if child gets killed by reveneath his spirit could fight(?) spirit of reveneath and then if it wins this battle he will poses the ectoplasma(This substance is often cited as what ghosts are made of) of it. After that he just can be like regular phantum but w/o tump and more buffed, also becoming ghost type that hunts other ghost types, like attack on titan shit (i hate titans - *becomes titan*). And he could evolve by beating 100-200 ghost type pokemons. (I am not good with english, but i think you could understand me)
@@eyeishere5397 And also want to add to your story. Maybe if it has high friendship when evolved he could be another form. If you level up twintump with low friend ship he will become a polyrent, but if you evolve him with high friendship he will become another form but with different stats. Polyrent could be speedy sp.attacker, other form will be slow sp.defender or speedy attacker/

These were all amazing. I especially love torched Phantump. And super clever idea for the dragon type. Revengold is so cool, and it's so weird we don't have a treasure dragon yet.

2:17 When I was still playing the main story of Pokémon: Sword, I always made sure to check out the boutiques in any town that had one. In fact, as soon as I got to the town where it’s always snowy, I went straight to the boutique, and got myself some winter clothes before I did anything else. My reasoning for this was that even though Pokémon is a game, and even though Hop is somehow stupid enough to not prepare for snowy weather, I would rather be prepared, and not die of frostbite.
I did the same in Shining Pearl. Knew I was going to Snowpoint so I bought the winter outfit to handle the snow. You don't have to, but it's more fun.

I don't know why but I feel like the pummeled phantump WOULD have a reserve of punching bags just Incase. The reason being that the first time it happened, everyone felt really bad about it, so they kept small punching bags around for the phantump, as a memorial of sorts. Just a thought though!

Absolutely phenomenal designs. I had an idea for a Fire Type Phantump. What if a child died in a house fire thanks to the oven exploding or something and they the only one in the house? Pretty dark but, all the others were pretty dark too. Searing Phantump could have the head of a stove and when it evolves, it becomes Stovenent (Stove+Oven+Revenant) It's a wacky idea but I like it. But all your designs are incredible. Was not expecting the Dragon type to be a Treasure chest but it makes a ton of sense

at the ground type phantump i actually relate because one time when i was younger, like around 3 or 5, i was being suffocated under sand/dirt by a dog so it is very possible for someone to die via the ground from my understanding!

These designs & concepts are so creative, I'm having a hard time picking a favorite. Way to earn that subscription, DBS! Also, kids getting lost in a crowded area is less rediculous than you may think... kinda like a Where's Waldo book but noisier. Plus, thanks to their small size, kids can find areas that most adults wouldn't even consider to look. As for suggestions, I imagine the dark type variant could be children who were dared to stay the night in a spooky old house. Lost in the darkness, they are scared to death causing their spirit to cling to the only safe place they know. And for the fighting type, kids who were bullied to death in the schoolyard & the vengeful spirit attaching itself to the school bell. As someone who was bullied a lot, I find this concept pretty relatable.

I think that, since there are meteorites that hit the ground and they are kind of like shooting stars, it would make sense that starry phantump might be a tiny bit more common because it could be hit by one, though it might have a tiny tail of ice shards, letting that form use a couple of ice type moves like powder snow of hail.
A Slurpuff of every type would be interesting. It would be cool to base them off different types of desserts.

So to add a little more legitimacy to Carrier Phantump, there is a story of a grocery store employee falling asleep on top of the freezers and then falling behind them, getting stuck, and dying. Their body was found years later when the store was torn down.

Since, y'know, you can still do that with Exp. Candies and Rare Candies, and it even brings them back with about one HP left.

What if for the Water typing a child is drowned, but instead of finding fish bones, it develops cephalopod features(Squid and Octopus being two variants)? Might call that one Splatted Phantump for now.And when it evolves it (by evolving it underwater, much like Nathonant) makes it evolve into Revenink (Squid or Octo depending on whether you have a squid or octo Splatted Phantump). Maybe the tentacles on its head are also able to be styled.

8:43 ah yes, the child died in their sleep. Its not as if smothering with a pillow is a very common way of killing someone.
It spooks me to know that apparently Kadabra's who "some kid with powers turned into this Pokémon" thing came up in Legends: Arceus. It's just scarily intriguing to think about it possibly first happening back then, and why that even was a rumor. That fact that it's a rumor and not just a legend is more terrifying though, because a legend would just be people assuming things based on something they saw already existing: but being a rumor means there were reasons to believe it happened, such as the weird kid at school disappearing and a Kadabra first being sighted the next day.
Red does have a Charizard, so that's probably why he's fine in the cold.

I would have just looked at the dark, and combined with the fact that a phantump can only be created with a dead child...
I immediately thought "it could be a child that was abused and died because of the abuse" but then I realized that this was a kid friendly video.
I actually have a theory where the male combee ( or some of them) turn into wheedle and leave the hive later becoming beedrill. I know it’s a stretch but come on, beedrill looks like it would be related to vespiqueen
i think for pure ghost type would be halloween decorations like a detached hand that it uses to scare people and there could be a right hand form that would be more common and a more rare left hand like real life and could evolve by leveling up at night when holding black tumblestone into the giant inflatable decorations
Or they could possess a candy skull, like day of dead and their evolved form would be possessing a fake Skeleton
And its canon that trainers regularly nearly die on cold mountainsides. Remember that episode where Ash gets cuddled by all his Pokemon? Touching moment aside, he was probably minutes away from death if he didn’t have a Charmander among his party.

The pure ghost type could be a kid that got attacked by haunter and could be something like hauntump or something simular and the ghost child could be comming from inside the mouth and the evolution could be a gengar being puppeted by the ghost child
i think a basic ghost-only type phan (im pretty sure the "tump" part of phantump comes from the tree stump it posssesed hence why i will be saying phan) could work like eevee. like for example if you leveled it up in a forest then it would become phantump. or if you leveled it up while holding the "star piece" item it would become starry phantump
Revengold would totally be on my team. Both it and it's pre-evolution contain things that I adore (mimics and dragons).
Phantump is my second favorite Pokémon so this was so cool to watch!!

Carrier Phantump couldve died in a abandoned store, you know like urban exploration where a multitude of ways to die could cause it to be created.
Like a building collapse, Asbestos exposure, wild Pokémon using the place as a den, or more darkly offed by a criminal using it as a hideout.
Really do love these; - I think the Crystal variant would be a lantern/ that or something… hmmm ~ I love the video {I keep wanting to make more variants :)

Finally! I love phantump and it’s so underrated.
9:27 I'm just imagining a young kid practicing their boxing on a punching bag, but it swings back too hard and knocks their spirit out of their body, thus creating the Pummelled Phantump.
They're still alive, but their bodies are left comatose until their spirit is knocked out of the punching bag and forced to return, but they leave a part of their spirit inside the punching bag, which would be the evolution: a Trevenant that's just a punching bag stand with two punching bags curled into boxing gloves.
Maybe still ghost/fighting, but with the ability sturdy, becauee its body is made out of metal.
Just an idea off the top of my head.

For a pure ghost I wanna say maybe some incident in a graveyard maybe playing around only to end up getting into an accident with one of the grave stones with maybe the head of phantump being a tombstone or maybe a skull, it's evolved form would happen when using a dusk stone turning it to Reapvenant a sorta specter like pokemon that fools grieving parents into thinking their lost ones are alive.
i feel like dark type phantump would be a burglary resulting in the death of a kid or something along those lines, and wearing something resembling the child they once were but torn

I have a pretty good idea for an electric type one. What if a child went to a rock concert and died in a mosh pit after getting separated from their mother? Rocking phantump would have an amp for a head (duh) and, when hit by 10 electric moves (so find a pawmi or toxel), would evolve into the ghost electric treveriff, with electric guitar strings on its arms, which, as a matter of fact, would have punk rock as an ability and would learn sound moves like boomburst, hyper voice and a signature move that I call thunderstrum. A base 70 power electric move that has a 10% chance to paralyse, a 20% chance to flinch, a 30% chance to confuse and a 5% chance to lower the target’s defences.
I have an idea for a pure ghost phantump: carved phantump, based off of people getting lost and dying in a pumpkin patch,
Ok a idea I find better for a flying type is a child climbing up a tree and dying in a bird nest
I feel like the starry Phantump line would have an ability to make it's Fighting type moves work off special and act like Psychic type moves since it looks like it would punch you before exploding your head with it's mind.

20:09 well, i'm not sure if it's an idea, but... for puré ghost-type, It would just be a ghost without nothing on the head, NOTHING... or, just gave it a bedsheet on top of it, but that would make it ghost/normal (or ghost/dark type due to reveneath and the sleep theme) and be it Haunting Phantump. As for it's evolution it would be an specter, cloaked specter. Named Specternaught or something similar. It's just an idea anyways...
