Very good and instructive video. The heel drop seems like such a good idea for me. Hiatal hernia and reflux can be so anxiety provoking and draining. I’m finally going at mine from all angles that don’t include drugs. Thank you very much for this!
A very effective set of exercises. While the video is not perfect but demonstrates the procedures effectively. I have suffered Gerd for much of my life. I have been doing these exercises three times a day and I am becoming Gerd-free. There are no additional complications, the exercises are not difficult for most people nor are they time-consuming. The results, for me , are impressive! Thank you, Michelle.
Nichelle, thank you firvyou video on how to be healed of a hiatus hernia. I appreciate you doing this because I have had so many problems in this area. God bless you for your help!
Thank you so much for these natural maneuvers for hiatal hernia. I can feel my stomach moving downward as I do the C shape massage. After 40 years of suffering with a HH I am certain that it can be reversed naturally.
Great video - thank you for sharing :-) *Update* After watching this video, I travelled from the UK to see Nichelle in Oct '23. She is *extremely* knowledgeable in the treatment of Hiatal Hernia and associated conditions. I was very glad that I had made the journey & will definitely return in '24 for follow-up treatment. Hopefully with her therapy & by following up on the recommendations that she gave me, I will be able to avoid surgery.
Dear Nichelle, I can't thank you enough, after one week I give up all that esomeprazole nonsense and I am feeling so good. You are wonderful. Thank you so much
Great exercises and very clear verbal directions, thank you so very much! If I may....I wish this video was a closeup of the treated area. Move the camera a few feet closer and train on the stomach. Most of us watch this on our mobile devices, and it's impossible to see where the fingers go and how they move.
May i know if can do planks? My hiatal hernia has been pulled down to its proper place by my Chiropractor (also by doing this one that you teach in the video) and no longer experiencing symptoms.
Thank you! I managed to be completely symptom free from my HH for 5 weeks doing the heel drop and massage. Then I started some strenght training and it came back even worse. Can't get it down this time :( just have to keep doing it every morning. At almost 46 I was finally getting into strenght training as strongly adviced in my age, do you have suggestions to how to exercise safely, please?
I would advise booking an appointment with your local osteopath and see if they can figure out what else is going on. Your stomach may not be the main cause of your issue.
@@richrich2862 I am better now, not completely, but continued the heel drop and osteopathy. He said my ehole system is very tense and my breathing/diafragm is not working properly keeping my body in fight/flight. So I guess it's a work in progress. I also use a device called IQoro 3xday since April. It's manageble, but still need to find how to exercise without triggering it.
Hello, I'm 21 years old and I almost found out that I have this problem, I went to the cardiologist several times because my heart hurts, and if they say that everything is fine, I realized that I have this problem when I took a stomach scan, I was okay, but the problem is again It started last night when I ate some food that I shouldn't have. I'm trying to eat less, but I have cramps and strong acidity and it's hard to breathe, it's bothering me a lot, I don't know what I should do? They say that I need to lose weight, maybe the problem would be solved if you could answer me, thanks in advance❤
I recommend going to an appointment with your local manual osteopath. I can many clients with your similar issue and now they have minimal to zero issues👍🏻
@@spunyabanta it's still bad, i lost even 10 kilos, but i always have a problem my chest hurts, acid mostly in morning when i wake up. Someone recommended me a chiropractor and with some of his own medicine he said that my stomatch is raised, drink a glass of cold milk in the morning on an empty stomatch when you wake up it helps a lot
Sounds like you have bad acid reflux. It can definitely make your chest hurt. The only thing that helped me was taking a PPI, which isn’t really good for you, but it takes away the chest pain. I take Pepcid too. I try not taking the PPI ( Prilosec) I also sometimes take an apple cider vinegar capsule. They do help a bit, but may not be for everyone.
Hi ,,i am frm India same problem facing from years ..i did endoscopy and got hiatus hernia grade iv..thet told me to do exercise and avoid junk food..but after doing everything i m facing acid reflux. ..so tell me how i will get relief from this
Hello, in my endoscopy report doctor found GERD, small hiatus hernia with biliary gastrits. I don't feel any heart burn, my problem is that I'm not feeling hungry most of the time & always in vomiting mode, most of the time got air or gas out during vomiting. What should I do.
from breathing through the stomach there is severe pain in the right side of the throat, which also radiates pain to the teeth. Hernia symptoms are getting worse, what’s happening?
But essentially, if your symptoms decrease, then you are on the right track. But don’t press too hard, just enough to engage the tissue tension barrier (when you can’t push any further without added additional force)
Whenever I try to do belly breathing, my upper abdominal hurts, especially the area where our LES is located and surrounding areas. I have no hernia and inflammation. Does anybody shares the same problem as I do?
I would recommend booking an appointment with your local manual osteopath to see if they can help. I have an idea what the cause is, but can’t say for sure because I didn’t physically assess you. Good luck and keep me posted!
Thank you for this video! I’ve been dealing with acid reflux for years and will continue to do these exercises. I have a question. Does anyone else feel a sorta pulse or twitch when they breathe in deep? It’s right in the middle of my chest up to my throat. It also happens when I bend forward or lay flat on my stomach. It happens after I eat or randomly throughout the day. I also feel a sense of fullness when I lay on my left side sometimes, under my rib cage and will feel a sorta flutter. Would love to know if anyone else experiences this or know what this is?
Hi. I have a suspicion of what it is.. but since I have not truly assessed you myself I cannot say for sure.. however, I would highly recommend you to go see your local manual osteopath and see if they can answer your question👍🏻
@@ambrosia_tea going to see a manual osteopath would also be good to see in addition to your doctor. And because I cannot assess I will not be able to say more than I have. Good luck. I hope you find out what’s wrong
For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:14-21

Can’t see your hand movements
from breathing through the stomach there is severe pain in the right side of the throat, which also radiates pain to the teeth. Hernia symptoms are getting worse, what’s happening?
Sounds like LPR(silent reflux) symptoms. You need to see ENT to confirm
How do we know of we correctly pushed Hiatal Hernia down?
Your symptoms should dissipate within a couple days. If not, you may not have acid reflux due to a hiatal hernia
But essentially, if your symptoms decrease, then you are on the right track. But don’t press too hard, just enough to engage the tissue tension barrier (when you can’t push any further without added additional force)
