Today we check out the awesome Ducky Pocket, which is a mechanical numberpad and calculator combined!
This is the VIP version, so there are some differences to the regular retail edition, and are pointed out in the video.
Standard Version will include :
- double shot PBT keycaps.
- picture function keys laser engraved on the side.
- black casing.
First time I experienced Cherry MX Nature White as well :)
I include a full lighting and macro demonstration.

yup definetly with this i cant cheat on my math test
the benefit's are twofold; not only will you be whizzing by problems with this, the loud noises will distract others and result in lower overall test scores, which helps you out after the grade curve is applied! it's a win-win!
specially if this comes with MX Blue.

Thanks :) I'm constantly changing since I have to test these things, but I do keep my RK RC930 on the desk only because I don't care if it gets dusty, and it's not loud. Honestly not fussy with what I use :)

So i am really considering purchasing one of these for work because of the macro programability. Two questions, if i unplug this, will it retain my custom macros? I would assume so but would like to check.
Secondly, since there is no software - does that mean all of the functions stored on the chip inside, are then sent to the PC as a command? I ask because i cant really install 3rd party software on my work PC, and since it seems the programming is on the device it self, im thinking I wont have an issue.

If you could get the screen to show data from the computer it would be like the most awesome thing ever, like perhaps messages or information from programs you are running. Maybe it could be hacked? I won't attempt it on mine as it is expensive and I don't want to ruin it.
Also, quite the contrast on your plate and mine lol. Mine is so smudgy you can't read what it says except for Ducky. Literally like they tried to obscure the serial number or something.
Does the RGB only work when plugged in or can you have the lights when it's not plugged?

Can you change key functions on the POCKET? I want to change keys 7,8,9 to 1,2,3 and vise versa. Is this possible?
My cr2032 battery died after 2 days of owning the Ducky pocket and now its just completely dead, I cant get my pc to recognize it and nothing lights up. Defective already I suppose. Is there any way to reset it?

The ducky pocket drains batteries pretty quickly.
You might need to reset all the keys. There's a key combo to do it in the instructions.
I wish it would have mini-usb instead of the micro-usb.
Hi, great video...I must admit I am having difficulty understanding the instructions leaflet...it's chinese translated (very badly) into English. Thanks to your video, I've managed to set my RGB profile when in PC1 mode, HOWEVER I cannot make an RGB profile when it's on CAL mode (ducky is still connected to the computer)...I am only able to select a SINGLE colour from the palette for the whole keyboard when it's in CAL mode. HOW do I can customise individual keys when in CAL mode? Thanks so much !!!
You can't change it. It only works on pc1 and pc2
i know it works as a calculator but can you insert the answers from your calculator directly into your pc?

I would soooo buy it.
Major flaw is that there is no = key. If you use excel, the = sign is essential for writing formulas. So many num pads don’t get this right.
