Ford is doing with the Lariat what Ram did to the Laramie, and got them into serious trouble. Whats the point of a mid trim if youre charging Platinum and damn near Limited prices? Ford will still sell trucks, but not at the same clip that they have. Our large volume dealer here has THREE F450s for sale right now, and a slew of Platinums. Yes, trade-ins have taken a dump, for a number of reasons JB mentioned but another thing: BUYING OVER MSRP! We knew this would happen. Guys paying $110-120K for 23 F250 Platinums and will be upside down for quite some time, plus unable to carry forward negative equity. And that is happening virtually on any vehicle that was bought over MSRP within the last 2 years. This is less about a recession, and more about normalcy returning and the market self-correcting. You can only have $2000 truck notes for so long.
Ford is trying to maximize the amount they make per vehicle. In all fairness to Ford, inflation is causing havoc for them as well as everyone else and they are in survival mode. Once we get past inflation, things will change.
Maybe. Or they will just limit production and lay people off. The cost of components has increased. They can't build the truck for the same cost as pre-pandemic. So if the market dies because people can't afford them then they will just shift their focus to F150 or Ranger and put more of those on the lots and those that need a super duty for work are going to have to pay up. We've already seen the self correcting market back when the large SUV craze crashed when the cost of fuel doubled. Then people moved to compact cars and eventually crossovers as the mpg's increased and gas came down in price.

I'm with you. I'm a 2020 F250 XLT Premium 4x4 7.3L Gas I got $52k Otd now it's about 20k over for the same spec. Dealers were calling me to buy my truck during Covid for the same price and glad I didn't sell. Just paid off the loan and kept it.
@@RH-qu7fb it is crazy. Same thing happened to me, I drove outta state to buy mine at Don Franklin in Kentucky. They must've called me a dozen times during covid asking to buy it. Their top offer was 61k, that's freaking nuts, same with realtors, I had 3 come to my door. It looks good on paper to sell and make the money but then what. You gotta buy another truck, you gotta buy another house and at crazy inflated prices so you dont win. Bet there was some crazy folks that did it. There hoping for another government bail out. They'll blame it on government regulations to produce EV's that drove up the price of everything. And are all EV's considered commercial vehicles if they weigh over 10001 lbs with there big heavy batteries?
Exactly. The person who can write a 100+k check likely didn’t get to that point by making dumb financial decisions. That person will keep driving an old truck and have money growing in a high yield account. Maybe thinking with interest rates rising there might be great opportunities for a cash buyer to pick up another rental property in the near future…
I absolutely 100% agree....let alone the insurance and at 9% or more interest rates. Absolutely no way in he'll it's absolute financial suicide, never!! I will maintain what I have
Been in a recession, not one is coming. Depression is what's looming. Few people have 100k for a truck, not too mention the sky high insurance rates now and everything else that goes along with owning a newer truck. It's all about affording the necessities of life
@@jeffkramer6034 Yes. insurance has went up 25% this year alone. I absolutely dread paying insurance and Taxes. I could pay cash for a really nice new toy and have money left to play for what we pay every year.
I don't know how any normal person can afford any of these crew cabs. I am a ford man. I won't pay over 45k for a truck. This is not like buy a house. A truck is a consumable good, not an investment. Ford Corporate and dealerships better get a clue fast.
Our gas super duty has over 300,000 miles and we just decided to rebuild it rather than buy another. We ordered an engine from jasper and they said their sales have skyrocketed since the price of trucks have skyrocketed. Go figure.
They are crazy for asking 100g for those trucks. I bought a ram 3500 dually because I was saving 30k by not buying a ford platinum f450. It’s REALLY RIDICULOUS what they are asking for these. What will these trucks be in the year 2030 ? 150k ? Seriously? I mean next thing you know we will have to make a decision between a lambo urus or a ford super duty because the price will be the same !

The economy is not good right now!! I work in residential HVAC in a wealthy county and people aren't spending unless they are forced to. My friend in Phoenix that works in HVAC has also seen a big decrease in business.
If I walked on that lot right now looking for an SD, even though it's a diesel I'd gravitate right toward that "bare bones" red XLT. I don't care for all the higher end packages. I'd rather put my own "bells and whistles" on the truck. I believe I'm not alone in this respect. These up-trimmed trucks are just too expensive. Then, throw in 6.7/6.7HO diesel! Sheesh! Last July, I received my special ordered '23 F250 XLT SuperCab short bed 7.3L/3.73. I paid $55K and perfectly happy with it. Yes, it's cloth interior, analog gauges, 40-20-40 front bench, 8" screen, but that's how I like them. I've added Line-X, BaKFlip, Yoko 35's, Xenon-Pro LED's, Gatorback mudguards, Bilstein shocks to name a few personal upgrades. The truck is still nowhere near those $90-100K thresholds.
Very few folks, if any, can afford these trucks at these asking prices. At $100,000.00, you are looking at $1500-$2,000.00 per month payments. Unless you own a profitable business with high demand, you can't write these expenditures off very well. No thanks. I'll just hang onto my 2002 Ford F350 XLT 7.3L Power Stroke Crew Cab with only 38,548 miles on it. It cost me $36,200.00 back in 2002 and has lots and lots of miles left to give me. In 22 years, I've only had to replace tires, batteries, and a small O-ring gasket that cost $80 to install. Extremely reliable and still drives and rides as new. Nice and loud, too!!! Always garaged and covered. Ford Motor Company is driving themselves out of business. Fast.
I can’t tell you how many TH-cam videos I come across with everybody saying that trucks aren’t selling… and yet prices are higher than ever and they absolutely are selling.
Most TH-camrs spew BS... of course it's to get views and make money and I don't blame them..... these vehicles are selling and they're selling quite well.....
That's what I thought bc iv been seeing those types of videos for a while. This guy's not b.s though. Trucks sales are starting to decline . Starting to see dealers offering money off
I used a Ford F250 for towing, it had good power but when hooking the trailer up it dropped the rear suspension to the bump stops. Bought a similar-year Chevy 2500 with a little less power but handled the weight much better and the transmission shift points were more civilized. More pleasant as a daily driver.
There's a balance between being overpriced and the USD not having as much purchasing power. The economy is running off monopoly money, just waiting to implode '08 style. I think we shouldn't be focused on everything costing more, but our money being worth less.
👍 lol - it’s not going to be like ‘08 .. It’s going to be far worse !!! It will make the 1929 crash look like a “cakewalk” .. The “Perfect Storm”, is about to hit beautiful nation. What you stated about the buying power of the dollar is spot on. For the last 2 years, my wife and I have been purchasing anything and everything that we might need in the next 7 years. Yes, it’s costing us more in the way of dollars now, but NOT nearly as much as it’s going to cost in the next 160 days! When this collapse rears its ugly head, it will be impossible to obtain many of the basic items that we take for granted.. I responded to your comment, because yours was one of the few that spoke the truth, and you did so in minimal words - unlike 👎 my babbling.. lol 😂😂😂😂
I've said it before and I'll say it again. They can go ahead and charge MORE for something like a Lariat Ultimate and up, and charge LESS for base Larait and below. People buying a Platinum Tremor most likely have FU money and can and will pay whatever and barely flinch. Everyone else needs to be able to get into an STX or a nicely equipped XLT without having to take out a second mortgage on the house they don't have.
Was looking for a new 3/4 ton. But I can't justify paying that kind of price for a car period. I can't understand how any working man can afford even a XL..
2011 F250 Lariat 4X4 bought in 2011 sticker 62,500K paid 45,000K, bought brand new when they were hurting as they are now. Went to my Ford dealer as he got one in that I wanted to buy, sticker 95,000k, asked him how much off the top, his answer was 1,000k if I financed with them (which I would never do) and 1,000k if I traded in mine (which I would never do). Told him if he did not come off the top 18k he was not hurting enough and started to walk away. He tried to hand me his card and said if I change my mind to call him, I asked him if I could borrow his pen and wrote my phone number on his card handed it back to him and said no if you change your mind you call me.

Hey JB, Thanks for the video. I recently watched a video from a Ford dealer offering to sell you a super duty at only MSRP. You can tell this video was produced a while ago. Now the tide has turned and dealers are liquidating below cost by giving everyone an x-plan equivalent pricing. on 24's. The 25 orderbook will open in a couple months so clear the decks. Speaking of '25 superduty's, I just bought a new 24 Lariat off the lot I’m glad I didn’t wait to order a 2025. De-content seems to be the plan with the same base price. Changes: 1. 6.8 Gas standard on Lariat. 7.3 now optional 2. Drivers Door keypad is now optional and only dealer installed 3. Leather seating surfaces are now optional 4. Electric adjustable steering column is now optional 5. Reverse sensing system is now optional 6. They removed 12v outlet in located on rear of console 7. Baja interior now optional only with active x (vinyl) seating 8. Now only optional rear power sliding window w/ defrost/tint
Loving my 2012 Duramax 3/4 ton more and more. 90-100k is nucking futts. I look forward to my local dealer calling for the 7th time in 3 years asking when I’m going to “upgrade”. I think he should call it “bend over”. 😅
Superduty sell best in November/December. That is when business are buying to reduce their taxes. I bought mine back in 2018 and was able to deduct 100% depreciation up front instead of over X number of yearrs.
Ford has lost their dam mind on pricing. Lots of superduties on the lots here in south louisiana. I have my 2017 well equipped xlt powerstroke that i gave around $58k back then. I wonder what the dealer invoices are averaging on these trucks….
I forgot to mention,my brother bought a new 22 4wd Quad cab Lariat 7.3 gasser to pull his camper. His truck listed around $80k.Last month with 30,000 or so miles,Ford put a new engine in due to an engine tick they could not diagnose.
I’m approaching 200k on my 17 F250 Lariat.. there’s absolutely no way that I would buy a brand new one. No way I’d pay a truck note equal to my house payment…
Godzilla camshaft failure at 42,000 miles . Rear axles with paper thin axle tubes. 10 speed transmission that can’t make 150k. Oh and all the wonderful electronics.
I got my Ram 2500, at the end may and this Ram dealer still had about 24 2500's on the lot. A combination of high interest rate, and the trucks being a little over priced. I got about 9k off MSRP.
The 20-22 SDs look WAYYYY better too. And you really don't need the H.O. Powerstroke because the standard diesel is a workhorse and all the engine you need. And Ford largely worked out the kinks mostly(CP.4 is still 50/50).
I have a 2021 Silverado 2500HD LT Z71 Duramax. Dealer keeps trying to get me to trade for a new one. Not going to, my truck built the same way went from $63k to $75k. For the first time I am seeing new trucks piling up on their lot. The ford dealer down the street looks like this with trucks piling up. Had not seen super dutys sitting on their lot since 2019.
Im driving a 1996 GMC Sierra 2500 diesel I bought 25 years ago for $6k. I'm painting it this August for around $500. There is zero chance I'll EVER shell out $100k for a farm truck.
Price is insane!!! Went potentially upgrade my 2016 fully loaded XLT, low miles (crewcab long bed) only thing mine is missing is touchscreen…went to my local ford just to see…90k +….was offered $8k for mine……I didn’t say anything, walked out, got in my truck and left….they’re crazy
Seeing the same here in Maryland. My dealer A year ago they did not have any retail(Lariat or higher) SD’s in stock. Now they have a bunch of them. Basically back to pre COVID stock levels
It's all about the ridiculous price point. The same thing happened to Ram several months ago and they started making people good deals and their sales picked back up. Now it's happening to Ford and I'll be happy to see the prices come down to a reasonable level.
I ordered a ford transit regular height long. Took over a year to get. Started leaking oil at 6,000 miles. Took to dealer, rear main seal. Tore the new van apart said it was fixed. Now leaking oil again. Back to dealer.
The price’s are just silly! With inflation as bad as it is people are not going to trade their 4 year old king Ranch they paid $65,000 for a $95-100,000 king ranch thats basically the same truck
JB, thank you for your video. At the current price point, it’s unsustainable to keep a production line full. Ford will have no choice but to offer super financing deals or game over. Future production will be assembled with 80 % robotic appliances. Coming to a production line near you!
I ordered a fully loaded platinum f250 6.7 back in 2021. I ordered a few days after orders opened and waited a year just for my truck to never be built. Ended up going with a 2500 Chevy that someone backed up on.
Over priced indeed. My local Ford dealership, 98% of the lot are F150s, with majority of them being XL, XLT trims. They ordered very few F250s and F350s because they are very hard to sell now. Hell they have very few Expeditions on the lot. 4 years ago my Lariat was only 60K. Now you have XLTs that cost 60K.
I ordered my f350 HO in April and got mine in November 2023 and I am still happy with it. Chevy recently is trying to sell their trucks at a low finance 1% interest on the loans trying to dump them too
Bought one like 3 months ago, paid cash. They are not desperate to sell. 35k for a brand new 96 f-350 vs 80k for f250 2024 and has twice the torque, twice the amenities. When you compare the 2 I think the 2024 is a better deal.
I paid 70k for my loaded brand new Chevy 3500 duramax. A comparable F350 was 85-90k I’ve typically purchased ford but it’s far too expensive for what you get.
There's a lot of people in this country that make good money, believe it or not... as far as these high-priced vehicles go, they are actually selling quite well... Projected sales of new cars and trucks in the US This year is estimated to be over 15 million... of course no records set but still pretty darn good.......
My 14 F550 6.7 went to the shop 2 times in 10 years - def system. My 22 F550 has gone through 4 plug wire failures and the # 2 O2 sensor. Waiting to see how my cam and 10 speed holds up.... 10 years???
Lots of reasons, like my lemon law case that worked out in my favor on my 2022… New transmission, heater core, and trans leaks in 20,000 miles. Now at 35,000 miles the new transmission slips and revs up to 4500 rpms and grinds into gear
Have me a f350 2021 tremor, 7.3 blackout package, winch, untilatr package. I got a pretty good deal because i ordered when everyone thought the world was ending in 2020
I believe a nice trucks should be around 70 to 80k and a mack daddy dually in the 90's. But a single wheel truck shouldn't be much over 80. Trucks in my opinion are about 15 to 20k overpriced. But I get it I sell john deere and people buy a 30k gator with heat and ac for there property quite often.
As a contractor here in Colorado, I see hourly guys parked 3 deep on the job site in fresh 3/4 ton trucks. They never haul more than a toolbox or 4 wheeler. . These are are status symbols for some groups Period, they are willing to buy these things all day long with the $1,500 monthly for the next 6 years.
I've had my truck for 5 years. I paid $15K for it back then. It was worth every penny. And it still looks great. I'll do whatever it needs to keep it on the road. I owe nothing. I paid it off over 3 years ago
We found a dealer hour north of us has 2 f350 limiteds available. My Freind/ co worker picks up one of them Monday… while I’m still waiting on my f450 limited order to be scheduled. I have 2 identical orders in at separate dealerships
People are starting to realize that the insane pricing you pay for these trucks WILL NOT mean reliability. The emission systems are killing reliability on these new trucks and making value and affordable ownership impossible.
Brand new truck and I can’t use it! In April I traded in a perfectly good 2018 Silverado 1500, low miles, for a 2024 F250 SD. Big mistake. On May 2 @ 3300 miles the air conditioner quit working. The dealer tells me that Ford made a bad batch of AC compressors, and now they have hundreds on backorder. It’s been over two months, and they’ve still not been able to provide a replacement. Here in South Central Texas the temperatures are reaching triple digits, so the truck is almost unusable. My calls to the Ford warranty line are pointless because no one at Ford can predict when a compressor will be available.
2004 F350 XLT four door dually long bed diesel. 100% stock, original 6.0, 260,000 miles. Just spent 8k to fix some issues and replace exhaust manifolds. Used for heavy towing only. My other truck is a 2005 Ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 hemi, 165,000 miles. NEVER would I pay the price they want for a new truck today. Far cheaper to fix what I have and doesn't have all the modern BS on them.
People can say Chevy is cheap or the "economy" brand of trucks, but I just got a '24 gas 2500HD High Country for $68,000 out the door. That's plenty nice enough for any truck I'll ever want to drive.
I bought a 2022 F250 Lariat UP Tremor 7.3 for significant less than prices here. Even if I opted for the 6.7 at the time, would be a good bit less expensive.
Had a Ford F-350 was looking for another but they’ve priced themselves out of contention. I’d take the Chevy regular cab with 8ft bed better price nicer ride
We have had an F350 Dually on order for a year and a half now, with no idea when they will deliver. We have waited so long that the order switched to a 2025 model. There is no explanation from Ford. We have searched Ford’s database nationwide and none were available. Why hasn’t anyone done a story on this issue? Why aren’t they building them?
Makes my 24 3500 LTZ CCLB DRW sound like a steal!!! No way these trucks are worth that much...and then add in the higher interest rates....count me out boss...
Trade in value does have something to do with the slow up forsure on selling new vehicles. But what I have noticed is like a month or 2 back there was a switch flipped and was flipped to the off position and companies that I never thought would be hurting our. It's crazy scary right now. This will be the great reset for car companies as well as a majority of us

I’ve been a Ford heavy duty pickup buyer for my whole life, but these prices are ridiculous and I do need a truck now but won’t be buying a New Ford, again their prices have gone crazy. P.S they also don’t look that great.
It's a combo of the price and interest rates. I know people are going for longer terms these days, but a 100K truck @ 7% interest rate will have payments north of $1,500 a month - maybe as much as $1,800 a month with a previously-standard 5-year loan. I have bought all of my vehicles new, and I would like to get another HD truck at some point (I had a 2016 2500 Denali), but I've never paid more than about $700 a month for any vehicle - including that Denali - and $1,800/month is just too big of a jump, even with inflation.
Ford was so backed up by the COVID stortages, dealers were not allowed to order stock inventory on Super Duties through at least most of 2022 (I ordered mine in March of 2022 and took delivery one day shy of it being exactly 6 months). Many 2022 orders were cancelled and people had to reorder '23s. One thing is to look at the window sticker-blue stickers are dealer stock orders and green stickers are customer orders. The dealers around here don't have that much inventory sitting on their lots.
I would love one for my needs but who can afford them, or any full size new trucks? Truck makers have priced beyond the reach of most of the intended demographic.

Trucks and all other products have suffered due to Bidenflation. Our currency value has fallen and most everything costs 30% more
I'm with you.
Now dont get me wrong, I did sell some land 2 years ago. Damn near tripled my money, but I still have my paid off house I'm living in. Cant wait for the economy to crash again cause if it does, I'm ready to grab more land. I've made more on real estate than my 20 year old roth ira, and faster.
My 2009 f250 XLT I bought used retailed 31k and my friends 2014 fx4 f250 retailed 45k so everything jumping thousands upon thousands for not much but fluff
There hoping for another government bail out. They'll blame it on government regulations to produce EV's that drove up the price of everything.
And are all EV's considered commercial vehicles if they weigh over 10001 lbs with there big heavy batteries?
Buying a brand new truck in this market is financial suicide. 100K for a truck that's worth 45 once I turn the key? Blow me.
Overpriced
I will maintain what I have
Ok drama queen it’s not worth 45k instantly if so we’d all be buying it but yea still way over priced by at least 30k
For a 24' F250 Tremor Lariat Ultimate I'd think about it 😂😂
Try knocking 30k off the MSRP!! I'd be seriously looking to upgrade.
People are stupid if they’re paying that
Crappiest HD on that lot is 55k. Stupid fees and taxes...nobody paying 65k for a bare bones truck
Insurance and tax not worth it .
Looks like will be keeping my 2012 F150 for a while longer.
We just bought one. It was for work and not the high trim level. The truck makes us money but these are nuts.
I drive an extremely reliable 95 S10 that I got for $800. I own 3 homes and land. Is there something wrong with me ??
Sorry, but that f450 is definitely worth the 30k more than your fiat Chrysler dually
@@robertensign8786 I had a ford f350 limited prior to this. The ram has far better interior and the engine is well.. on another level than the POWERSYROKE that is so DAMN LOUD. …
@@jaysaudiolab mmmmkay. Whatever you gotta tell yourself to make it feel right. Ain’t no one I know that would agree with that though. Maybe on the interior, but that’s it. It’s a freaking Chrysler dude. The f450 with the wide axel turns on a dime too. The f450 is a working man’s truck. If I was only hauling kids to the mall and getting groceries I would have gotten the Chrysler/fiat too. But, I haul cattle, hay, heavy equipment daily. The Chrysler ain’t gonna cut it for my needs
@@robertensign8786 gotcha. Mine is just a pavement queen. It’s sitting on 26’inch American force wheels on 37 inch tires

No ones paying $100,000.00 for a fucking truck right now, people can barely afford to live right now.
easy there let's go brandon
Bidenomics
They want $130k for one at a dealer near me…they also have a Harley Davidson F350 at $215k on sale for $199k…lol!!!..the truck manufacturers are out of their minds!!
215 k for a truck
Wow
The Accessories Wheels & Tires are Overpriced as well
I ordered on on Memorial Day and it’s already built and shipped!
I still might not buy it.
The dealer is playing games with the price!
@@kmonto1971 that’s exactly what happened. Meanwhile they have 90, that’s right, 90 Super Duty’s on their lot!
You can’t make this up.
You have all the power now I would cancel in a heartbeat if they didn’t give you anything you want….
@@nickgallegos430 I am planning on it. I’m pretty sure that they will try to screw me!
What model and trim level did you order that got built so fast?
@@markhindman9005 I ordered the XL Super cab short bed with the off road, fx4, 360 camera and chrome packages in iconic silver. My priority code was 80.
Those sticker prices are insane.
Fast.
You have a gold mine right there.
Take $30k-$40k off of MSRP AND give me 0% for 72 months and I’d buy a Super Duty today! I will NEVER spend more than $60k for any truck!!!!
Me too. I just can't pay these inflated prices.
Starting to see dealers offering money off
@@aaronphillips2728 just about everything is declining right now.
In Northern New England they sell like hotcakes but I figured it might be different in some regions
CP 4
I used a Ford F250 for towing, it had good power but when hooking the trailer up it dropped the rear suspension to the bump stops. Bought a similar-year Chevy 2500 with a little less power but handled the weight much better and the transmission shift points were more civilized. More pleasant as a daily driver.
There's a balance between being overpriced and the USD not having as much purchasing power.
The economy is running off monopoly money, just waiting to implode '08 style.
I think we shouldn't be focused on everything costing more, but our money being worth less.
This the comment I was looking for ....
Our money is devalueing faster than most of us realize...
Sad but true !
Maybe the $80,000 starting point could be the reason🤷♂️
It ain't the consumers fault it's 100% the dealerships and the makers I mean who in the hell is going to pay that kind of money for a truck!💁♂️
Haha, that's exactly how I operate lol! Problem is all you got is a dude who tossed that card straight in the trash the moment you left and no new truck!! My number in quite a few of those round files currently lol!!!!😛
Changes:
1. 6.8 Gas standard on Lariat. 7.3 now optional
2. Drivers Door keypad is now optional and only dealer installed
3. Leather seating surfaces are now optional
4. Electric adjustable steering column is now optional
5. Reverse sensing system is now optional
6. They removed 12v outlet in located on rear of console
7. Baja interior now optional only with active x (vinyl) seating
"94K, and doesn't come with a lot of options" -JB :)
Ford has lost their dam mind on pricing.
Lots of superduties on the lots here in south louisiana.
I have my 2017 well equipped xlt powerstroke that i gave around $58k back then.
I wonder what the dealer invoices are averaging on these trucks….
The truth is, most of them don't have cab lights!!
Shhhh, Ford would add an extra $1K to the price!😂😂😂
Camshaft failure?😂
I got my Ram 2500, at the end may and this Ram dealer still had about 24 2500's on the lot. A combination of high interest rate, and the trucks being a little over priced. I got about 9k off MSRP.
Keeping my 2020 F350 lariat that's paid for. Ridiculous prices
The 20-22 SDs look WAYYYY better too. And you really don't need the H.O. Powerstroke because the standard diesel is a workhorse and all the engine you need. And Ford largely worked out the kinks mostly(CP.4 is still 50/50).
I bought a new HD truck this year. Ford didn’t cut it. I bought a Silverado HD. Happy with my decision.
RAM is better built. They don't bend
I drive a 2001 F250 7.3TD LARIAT PLATINUM EDITION Crew Cab. MSRP 42k I paid 37.500
And because its a 7.3, it may be the last truck you ever buy.
Chevy recently is trying to sell their trucks at a low finance 1% interest on the loans trying to dump them too
Have you seen the prices? Ford is trying to bail out their EV losses with their trucks!
Cost. And that’s coming from an owner of a 23’. They should try no charge for the diesel promo like Ram and might sell a few more.
That's a lot of houses sitting on the lot. My parents bought their house for $88k back in 2020....
I want to know the salaries of the people that can afford these trucks. do we really have this many rich people in the USA?
There's a lot of people in this country that make good money, believe it or not... as far as these high-priced vehicles go, they are actually selling quite well... Projected sales of new cars and trucks in the US This year is estimated to be over 15 million... of course no records set but still pretty darn good.......
Lots of them in the shipping ports parking lot.
Bought my 2024 ltz Duramax 2500 hd list was $84,000. Ford pricing is ridiculous
My 14 F550 6.7 went to the shop 2 times in 10 years - def system. My 22 F550 has gone through 4 plug wire failures and the # 2 O2 sensor. Waiting to see how my cam and 10 speed holds up.... 10 years???
Lots of reasons, like my lemon law case that worked out in my favor on my 2022…
New transmission, heater core, and trans leaks in 20,000 miles. Now at 35,000 miles the new transmission slips and revs up to 4500 rpms and grinds into gear
Purchased a new 2022 F250 King Ranch diesel loaded for 84k in August 2021… Thanks Gates Ford!!
JB, is the price of going on line and building and buy the same price for the same vehicle on the lot?
Everyone that needed a compensator have already purchased one?
I've had my truck for 5 years. I paid $15K for it back then. It was worth every penny. And it still looks great. I'll do whatever it needs to keep it on the road. I owe nothing. I paid it off over 3 years ago
We found a dealer hour north of us has 2 f350 limiteds available. My Freind/ co worker picks up one of them Monday… while I’m still waiting on my f450 limited order to be scheduled. I have 2 identical orders in at separate dealerships
Engine failure, transmission failure. Price.
Price. They think they can get MSRP. Even 30% off MSRP is overpriced.
Do you think truck prices will go down significantly, or just keep going up?
I hit the lottery I'm buying the Platinum Tremor, until then I'll dream!
Same 🤣
Why would you drive a shitty truck around? That’s low class thinking. Wealthy people drive luxury cars / SUVs.
I have a 2014 F350 4 door 8 foot bed. I bought it used for 20k. Has a 6.7 and alot of power. My next truck will be a 2017 ultimate.
Im shopping for a new HD truck. Between GM, Ford and Ram. Ford is the one with prices still above msrp. And Rams Im seeing some about $10k below msrp.
Shop in TX. 6-8k off msrp on Ford super duties.
I'm trying to figure out why there are so many more GMC and Chevy 2500s on the used market than Fords. Any ideas why?
100k+ and 7 to 9 % interest. They'll sit...
Had a Ford F-350 was looking for another but they’ve priced themselves out of contention. I’d take the Chevy regular cab with 8ft bed better price nicer ride
Yea, got my Silverado 2500HD LT 4x4 for $9K in 2010. Works great.
Interest rates are Stupid high
Trade in value does have something to do with the slow up forsure on selling new vehicles. But what I have noticed is like a month or 2 back there was a switch flipped and was flipped to the off position and companies that I never thought would be hurting our. It's crazy scary right now. This will be the great reset for car companies as well as a majority of us
I think it shows that people are prioritizing saving money especially with these high interest rates.
This is good news to me. As a glacier grey leveled on foxes 24' f250 high out put Ford warn wrench packaged nitto rolling owner. I feel like i'm flexing that much harder when I hardly see any of them on the road. 🎉😂
The price’s are just silly!
With inflation as bad as it is people are not going to trade their 4 year old king Ranch they paid $65,000 for a $95-100,000 king ranch thats basically the same truck honestly it’s not even fun to go look at new vehicles anymore. I can afford them if I wanted, it’s always been a bad financial decision but now it’s irresponsible to pay these prices.
I got $7k off of a new platinum offered me by my local dealer. But I bought a used '22 Ram 3500 instead.
Price isn't the reason they're not selling.
I'm looking for an F350 Lariat. A dealership near me has one that fits my spec and color. They aren't ready to deal yet. Too funny! They can keep it.
