The time has finally come for us to finish up the 89 Thunderbird Super Coupe project that I guess now is a Turbo Coupe. I have owned this car for about 3 years, it was totally stock 3.8 V6 with a Eaton M90 supercharger and a 5 speed when I bought it. If you haven't seen the other videos it now has a .550 lift 218 duration 114 lsa billet roller cam, Pac 1218 valve springs with comp retainers, home ported 97 F150 split port heads and lower intake that has had the baffles removed to it is running on both ports all the time, gt35 ebay cheap $135 Turbocharger, and 44mm ebay wastegate. It is running a Holley Terminator X computer with LS coils and injectors I will put part numbers below. We are hoping to make between 500-600 horsepower at the crank once we upgrade the fuel system. Hope you like it I know the kids enjoyed the donuts and burnouts.
Part numbers to everything we used:
    558-321 LS coil harness
    82658 MSD LS coils
    558-410 crank/cam sensor harness
    8216 MSD coil brackets
    567-102 Metropack crimping tool
    509 Waytek crimping tool
    558-117 Universal MPFI main harness
550-937 Holley Terminator X Universal Ford kit
    558-443 usb/can tuning cable
    558-216 EV6 unterminated injector harness
    153-4001 ARP head studs
    26200 FelPro MLS head gaskets
97 Ford F150 used intake, heads, timing cover, cam/crank sensors
    used cam .550" lift, 218 degrees duration , 114lsa
    Pac 1218 valve springs

This is what kids and adults need alike, learn how to do work with hands. Learn how to take things apart, see how they work, then put together with no extra parts. doing this seems repetitive, but I started early and was fixing Autos, semis, Heavy Equipment, tools, doing plumbing, roofing, electrical etc. Things that we need to know as adults when our auto, home etc needs parts replaced or maintained.
With money being so slippery save it by doing own repairs and maintaince. You'll be surprised how much it saves, how much is learned and how much fun you'll have knowing you can do work the right way and it's right. Never know where it can lead. College is so expensive. If being a lawyer, Dr etc ok that's a wise investment. But a blue collar trade will pay VERY WELL and you won't be in debt thousands. If your single go make that oil and gas money. If not do construction, truck driving, Postal service, etc. Any gov job pays well, health insurance is great and you can move wherever and have work. Best feeling was seeing all the kids leaving for college and then 2 years later they working at Block buster, no degree still and I'm making 3-5 grand a month easy.
Rich ppl go to college, poor go to work. Then that work will teach you so much and you can have own home, car etc and maybe get into real estate, start own business etc. Never know where doing new work will take you in life.

It's everybody's reaction to boost and it was amazing! I'm not really a ford person but I've always loved the fox body mustang. But I think now I have a new favorite ford car. I knew ford made those thunderbird but I didn't know that those were rear wheel drive or that they made a super charged version.

@@Sleeperdude I really enjoyed it. I have a 1997 Honda Civic coupe that has a fully built 1.8L DOHC VTEC engine with a Garrett GTS3582 turbo running 30 psi on E85 and it makes 709 horsepower at the wheels. It has cams, a fully built head, forged everything, all ARP hardware and head and main studs, I've been building it since 2014, so believe me, I know ALL about custom fabricating all kinds of parts to make things work. I also built a 2001 Honda Accord with a 3.2L Honda V6 with a big turbo and a six speed manual swap and it made 502 wheel horsepower at 10 psi. Almost every part in that car was custom made by me. I taught myself how to weld with a flux-core welder that I got for $75 from my neighbor. Now I have a Lincoln gas MIG welder and my welds have gotten much better. Also, I've never really heard of anyone trying to push over 500 whp out of the 3.8 OHV Cologne engine, but I'd imagine you'd need forged rods and pistons to support that power level. My 3.2L V6 that I turbocharged in my Accord broke a ringland at 10 psi making 502 whp on 93 octane, but the E85 will DEFINITELY help keep your knock down. Edit: I meant to say that 600 whp would most likely need rods and pistons to support that power level. On E85 it should make 500 HP fairly easily given the right tune.

You all have done a great job on that T-bird. You need to fill the gas tank with fresh fuel, or the throttle control and all the settings will not be seeing things steady like it will with stable fuel. The left quarter panel looks darker then the rest of the car.. the car is nice and with a few things cleaned up, you have a great car. Thanks and look forward to every video on the channel.

Thanks for sharing with us your family. Your children are amazing, it's a big reflection on how well you've raised them with love, kindness and patience and the right kind of discipline. ❤

Found your channel while recovering from surgery. Now back to work, you make my Mondays bearable. It's awesome seeing Wawa welding and enjoying the fast ride. Mom and Wawa, beautiful ladies who aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty.

I am just amazed that everyone in the family helps with the builds. Seeing Tosh under the car was pure gold. Tosh to Squeezy: "Are you supposed to be doing that?" Squeezy "No..... but that's the fun of it" with big cheesy grin 🤣🤣.
It's great seeing WahWah & Ralphie having a go at welding. The more all your kids learn to do the better equipped they will be to live in the real world. Practical experiences leads to improved problem solving and innovation skills. Keep doing what you are doing with your family Josh & Tosh, it clearly is a success.
