The issue is just with steam if you get the game from Microsoft you can create a wheel profile in the setting I have to buy both games to try it out and it worked. Thanks for the help .

I have fanatec wheel and pedals , thrustmaster shifter , but when i go manual /w clutch dont not work .. just the pedals shifter works

if anyone is struggling like i was to get your thrustmaster shifter to connect to forza all you need to do is unplug your wheel from your xbox/ pc then wait a few seconds and plug it back in and should be working.
Bro I did it didn't work 😕I am on pc, I have a logic g20 xbox edition steering wheel and my new th8a shifter which I bought yesterday, my steering wheel works but my shifter doesn't , when I go to sitting , control settings , wheel , custome wheel , then when I Prees first gear option ,then go to my shifter and put it in first gear it doesn't recognise it 😔

I don’t know wether to get the th8a because I often play forza free roam but I’m not into sim racing and I’m not sure if the immersion for one game is worth 150.
I don’t recommend to bay the shifter if you are not going to use it often a cheaper option is the Logitech shifter for 40-50.
It seems work on yours one. I have Forza horizon 4 and try setting on this but it doesn't work but it works on Forza horizon 5. Both are cracked games

I have T300 GT and Th8A shifter, the Shifter is not recognizing only in FH4, In Other games it works, even in FH5 it works

i plugged in my shifter to my tmx wheel yesterday. no videos are helping me. my wheel recognizes the shifter but when i launch forza it doesn't think i have a shifter. i have restarted my xbox numerous times but nothing is working. does anyone have any tips?

I just installed forza horizon 4 and used G29. When I first played the steering feel was normal, it had feedback gain. But when I played it for the second time, the steering wheel feel was empty, there was no feedback, so the steering wheel can be turned easily. Please help me
I now it I have the same problem sometimes what I do is I close forza then I close Logitech app then connecting the wheel agin to the pc and then I open again the Logitech app and letting the wheel recalibrated and then I open app the forza and it works thru this if it not works due it agin

I have a swapped f1 moza racing wheel with a swapped logitech G29 shifter
Hey i tryed to set up my TH8a shifter for 2 days now. Every Video i try but nothing is working. I did everything like you in the video but in the settings it only shows up as unkown device. for example:
first gear------unkown device button 1
second gear -----unkown device button 2
.
.
.
and when i want to remap the controlls nothing happens. example i remap the reverce gear -> i put the shifter in reverce. the game doesnt detect it.
I now forza has problem whit shifters my shifter is also sowing up unknown device. I don’t now why also sometimes my shifter is showing up and sometimes is not detecting

The th8a has now drivers. You only needs to plug in the cable to your computer like I show you then go to games setting and select manual then it should detect your shifter which is in this case th8a.

basically steam isn’t good for this setup so get off Microsoft. Hope it helped

Is your shifter connected superly whit a USB cable to your pc or is it going over the wheel?

My pc recognizes the shiffter and I've installed the driver as well. But still the shiffter isn't recognized in-game! Any idea how to fix this? I also have the controls in manual with clutch. I've that all of that, but it still isnt recognized in-game. Both when I plug the wheel and shiffter through different USB ports AND through the same USB port using a USB hub... Still nothing...
It dose not work over a hub you need to have separate usb cable for shifter and separate usb cable for your steering wheel
@@leetdriver4208 I do! And even like that I can't get the game to recognize the shifter! When setting the keybinds, in the section of the first gear, for example, it says "Unknown device: Button 1". Does this information help in any way?

@leetdriver4208 I'm driving the WRX in game as I type this and am wondering if the programmers of this game (its not a sim by any stretch) are a bunch of California moped drivers? Last time I played a forza game was on the xbox many years ago, I think it was forza 4, and I remember the physics being much better than it is now in horizon. Anyway, I prefer this over the next one which is mexico, a location that doesn't really have my interest. I read us steam users can copy over the demo settings into the full version on steam and apparently it will fix the problem.
Negativity aside, it's a beautiful (graphics) game and maybe I just need to get my wheel settings right? Who knows. Still having fun despite the bugs but I wish MS would focus on their game and not politics. Then again when you're Bill Gates and get caught on Epstein island you have to spew politics to cover up your childfetish.
@leetdriver4208 I forgot to mention of the wheel you're using. That's the one I bought my 2 little nephews for Christmas. The 6 and 11 year old have a better wheel than mine in my mid life at 44 (which is the old Thrustmastet T150).
Anyway both kids learn to drive on this one and then transitioned to the G29 last Christmas when I got them that wheel.
It's a really nice wheel I hope you enjoy it as much as I hope they do as they get older. Thanks for the video.

You need to go in to the Logitech hub first and stay in there while you playing the forza
