100% ever since the comparison videos with custom shops and the verdict being that the custom shops are maybe 5% better, there is no way I waste my money for the custom shops
Mary Kay is dirty white blonde with gold hardware. Dirty white blone is very thin and almost comes across as having a pink hue to most people, though it’s not pink. It’s a very thin trans white. I have a postmodern journeyman cc in dirty white blonde and I love the thing- it’s an absolute animal
Perfect timing! I’m thinking of buying one of these two and been talking with Jasmine, this video was helpful vs. just looking at the pictures on your website 🙏
The electromagnetic explanation was mangled. The pull on the string is determined by the strength of the magnet. It is nothing to do with the number of windings. Both determine the strength of the output.
Stevie Ray Vaughn is probably the obvious example of “bone tone”; nobody has been able to accurately sound like him. I have heard guys attempt to duplicate his tone, but they never quite get there. As for the “Bone Tone” custom shop Strats they sound great but as for looking great I beg to differ. I am sure they were initially great looking before some technician chose to beat the xxxx out them in the name of making them look like original relics. I bought a new American Professional ll Strat in January of this year (2022) in a sunburst finish. Had someone relicked it I would never have considered buying it. It seems to me there is a financial opportunity for me to beat the xxxx out of some peoples’ guitars at a discount rate to the Custom Shop’s rate. Any takers?
Relic haters can save themselves some money and have the Custom Shop build them a non-relic version of anything their heart desires. For what it’s worth, you can save yourself even more by buying an instrument from any of other American Fender lines since none of them are going to be aged. I’m sure Professional II is an excellent instrument and all most people would ever need.

They sound great, if that's what you're going for. So clean, too clean for me, usually If' I'm gonna spend that much on a guitar, it's probably gonna be an all rounder haha... These do what they do really well though.
I've never played an electric guitar. I'm strictly an acoustic guy, but I've been wanting to get one here lately... might have to try out one of those bone tones. That honey blonde is PURDY
Do it up! it's great having the choice between acoustic and electric. They're so different from one another, it feels like completely different instruments. I think starting on acoustic is preferred, as they are much harder to tame and play overall. The switch to electric will feel like walking on cloud :p
I have two Strats and a 335 that I need play (maybe once this year) and several amps.I played 6 acoustics yesterday. First the guitar, then the amp, next the pedals followed the divorce...lol Buy a travel guitar and take a trip somewhere nice
PU covers have never been made of Bakelit. Bakelit is always brown or black. The earliest covers have been made of polystyrene, which by the way never change color but they chip and flake. Beautiful guitars and good introduction btw.
The player in the market for a custom shop will most likely not be playing it through a blues jr lol… wish y’all would have played with an equally crafted amp
A quick search of their current inventory shows that the only better options they have are a pre owned Vox AC-30 and a new Hot Rod Deluxe. Unfortunately, this isn’t Casino Guitars. Alamo Music Center isn’t a Two Rock dealer.
The liklihood of me being a custom shop (however miniscule that was) has dwindled to zero with the release of the American Vintage II line-up.

@@Squall6575 They're most definitely not a waste of money lol. Very, very dangerous.
I love Cooper's tone, especially when he digs in. He even has the right face for the tone.
Thanks Chris and Cooper.
Thinking about a Martin Dreadnought before I try another electric.

Bonehead!

Bakelite. Polystyrene is called "styrene" in the USA, for some reason.

The paramounts are much better. I have one. Have played both. Theres a pretty big diff in quality and feel, tbh. Surprisingly.
I would prefer the original pickups i have a custom shop 66 Stratocaster sticking with traditional 😂
Just put the vid on 1/2 speed.....🤣😃😄😉 I can't quit laughing

Honestly, the AC-30 probably sounds better than the Hot Rod Deluxe.
