This song is severely underrated. It deeserves more views and likes in my opinion. The lyrics are gold as well as the execution. Again, coming from the opinion of one human.
meagan miller this song is not underrated this song was big when it came out you obviously was too young to remember. People these days use the term underrated to much even though the song or artist isn’t underrated
Genuinely, this song was on a loop in my headphones when I was in a really dark place in my life, just barely keeping me coping. I will always owe you all a debt for that.
I love OKGO, and I love what they gradually became, but honestly this is probably my favorite song from them, from long before they eventually "found their stride"
Honestly, they're still making really good music imo. If you've never listened to Hungry Ghosts, it is honestly one of my favorite albums ever. The emotion in every track is absolutely incredible. @@FSVR54
I remember getting this CD as a promo at a concert before they were famous. They weren't even playing, just handing out CDs. I've been obsessed ever since.
worst song/album, well that may be because it sounds exactly weezer when they got popular.. im not saying weezer suck or anything.. it's just that this particular song sounds exactly like weezer..
@@LawKuro lol try again buddy. You do know there was a time before TH-cam right? And that people upload things years after they were released right? Like I said 2002
I like to think the music video is showing how focusing on the bad things makes them easier to see. if you take something for what it's worth, the flaws are really small compared to the big picture
This song got me hooked on OK GO - first song i have ever heard from them. To see the go from this to other great songs is a journey i dont regret having been on. Thank you all from OK GO and people who worked with them. You are all amazing.

This is just such a fun music video. The guys look like they're having the time of their lives, and the music is catchy and almost hypnotic. The theme of zooming in on objects in the photos that probably were overlooked is a cool concept, and the visual gags are decently funny, especially "hay!".
First came across OK Go as a kid when this song was featured in the NFL Madden 2002 (I think) video game for PS2. Instantly became a lifelong fan. It’s 2019 and I’m still loving their music and amazing music videos. Incredible band that never stopped making quality music. Ahhh, nostalgia😝👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
20 years ago i SOMEHOW aquired a mixed CD with this song and thus started my love for OK GO. These men were my comfort in the heat of the pandemic while i was in the psych ward as well. Every now and then, two decades of time just nakes things better
I love this song. It's the perfect song to listen to while you're angry or upset, because its message is exactly what you need to hear in that situation. Yea, everything in your life feels so sucky right now, so stop whining and get on with your life.
probably the most under rated band in the history of time. Videos are always amazing. Drums always upbeat and catchy. The guitar is amazing and yet simple. The bass rocks :D ahhh too much to say about this song to fit into a youtube comment
This song gives me such a hit of nostalgia. I heard it once on the radio in high school and immediately ran out and got the CD. I can just vividly remember driving around town, the soft, red glow from my hackjob stereo/CD player in my 85 Chevy Caprice illuminating the car, while I belted out this album on repeat. I listened to this for like two years straight and then followed them throughout college. When I got married 5 years ago, our first dance was a tango to skyscrapers. Fucking love this band.
I like Ok Go's new musical direction, but I don't love the songs like I love the stuff they did during their first two albums. This brings me back to the 'good ol' days'.
There was one time i got really pissed off at someone who honestly bitched and cried about every little thing so i got fed up and sended them this song and they never talked to me again. No regrets this is still my jam to this day
This song was always my favorite. I just recently seen their zero g stuff and rememebred they were also the treadmill video then realized...ive never watched this one! And my favorite song is of course their least crazy seemingly lmao
What I love about this song is that sometimes it's what I want to tell other people, and many other times it's what I need to tell myself. Sometimes you just need that reminder that being upset ain't gonna solve jack, so you might as well get over yourself so that you can actually do something about all the things happening to you.
So I'm on an old OK Go binge tonite. Started on Here It Goes Again, made my way to A Million Ways before I got here. I think I'm going to have to swing by Do What You Want next.
i think that if you've seen their more recent music videos (but you didn't watch any bts, interviews or listen to their music outside of the videos) and this showed up on your feed it'd take you a good minute and a half to realize who this is by (I can't relate haha) due to the fact that I'm sure most people on the internet only know OK Go as "those music video guys" :( like literally every time I wear one of my band shirts in public I have someone say "oh I love their videos" and not "oh I love their music" and it makes me so sad (like their videos are downright awesome but the music is incredible too!!!!)
Ah, you are 100% right. I knew the upload date would be inaccurate, so I went to Wikipedia and they had OK Go's music sorted into time periods, and Get Over It was included in the 2001-2004 one. I could have saved myself a shit-ton of work by just paying attention like you did. Thanks man :)

I laughed too😂😂
+EvitalovesThings I found myself laughing unnecessarily hard as well.
I'm sure your laughter was quite necessary.
Probably the most normal video the band has ever made haha, also I love the "hay" moment where they actually showed hay.
+TheMuseArchive I love the subtle cheesy sense of humour :)
That's Bar-lay
I thought the exact same thing. Seems like it would have had more commercial success due to how standard it was. Ha!
iirc they weren't in charge of this video as well as invincible
There's singing into a mic properly, and then there's making out passionately with it. This is very much the latter
If you choose to make out it should be passionate
if i could like this comment more i would
making out passionately with a mic?
As a single woman, I'm vaguely jealous of that mic...
As a dad, I find that I appreciate the puns in the video more now. The hay bail is one of the best dad jokes ever.
