I do believe Tim is a genius.
+What ? For most people, yes. For me and a lot of my friends, this video is what made us take notice of them. I think if they hadn't had this video first, then the treadmill one would have never been seen to fruition, so you COULD argue that this is indeed what made them "famous."

I have loved OK GO since this video first came out. I spent hours in front of my PC learning every move of this dance and I still remember most of the moves 15 years later.
These guys are the only people in the world I'm envious of. I will never have friendship like these guys obviously have. It's what makes them such a joy to watch.
I get a sense that there isn't much competition between the band members. They seem one of the most collaborative groups/bands I've seen. They seem to share in their production process of both their music & vids.
The leandler, the hustle, the thriller zombie walk, the funky chicken and a few other line dance moves. You guys are hilarious and amazingly weird! ❤❤❤

I don't know what thought process led me here but I decided to show my 8 year old okgo's extra music videos and started here cuz I told her years ago I saw them in Detroit and they were told their set was over, started packing and then, oops! The set wasn't over so Tim said "we didn't pack our treadmills so we're gonna dance for you" and they performed this! My daughter said she is very impressed with your moves and now we're off to watch the higher budget videos 😂💜

blooduhz I imagine those are the “Dislikes.” I’m old enough to remember when MTV actually played almost exclusively music videos. Heck, I remember when there WAS no MTV. But the best videos were always the ones like this, pure, simple, like Madonna’s “Like. Virgin,” watching the singers perform without a gazillion special effects. This one is classic. But what I like best is that even their videos that have lots of stuff going on, it’s all very REAL and they get amazing effects out of them.

Oh, I can see how some people would find it boring, but since I have an appreciation for what into planning and executing this, I really enjoy seeing it unfold successfully (and with flair). And I do find the deliberate movements of the human form aesthetically pleasing to watch when they've been synchronized and syncopated.
I first saw okgo in 2006 at tulip fest in albany NY and they played this song. I was 16. I had never heard if them and they didnt have a big crowd at all. I bought a shirt and had them sign it. I didn't know at the time that they would go on to do such amazing videos and incredible songs I am so proud of them!
