The original Paul Bunyan Land was near the intersection of Highway 371 and Highway 210, right in town...... and for a while they even offered helicopter rides. In fact, I've been at Brainerd International Raceway during a rain delay and the helicopter came over and hovered up and down the racetrack to help dry the surface. I've driven past the new Paul Bunyan Land MANY times but I've never stopped in. I had no idea they still had a giant talking Paul Bunyan. Pretty cool!
Great video ! Born and raised in Minnesota and have been going to Brainered every year for 40 yrs. Have taken my 5 daughters to Paul Bunyan land and now they are taking their kids there. Great memories are made with the Paul Bunyan land experience. Thanks guys for helping to promote on keeping this park open.🇺🇸
As A kid I went to Paul Bunyan land at least twice. It used to be closer to town kind of between Brainard and Baxter, MN If I remember right, but when I took my kids they had moved it outside of town. Paul always greeted the kids by name when they walked through the gate. I live in northern, MN (a lot further north then Brainard) so it's kinda cool to see you folks visiting someplace I remember visiting as a kid. The Spook house was legendary! They used to have this skeleton that would fall forward onto this metal screen when you walked through a door. I wonder if they still have the water that flows up...They do! LOL
I live in Maine so I actually know what she is talking about we have a Giant Paul statue right in the middle of our city park and the kids around here love it..Cool video guys we appreciate you.
