I Love the video!! It's always very fun watching your videos, because they are entertaining and it feels like we are there with you! You're also a humorous guy haha I always enjoy it!
Hey carpetbagger. You should check out the one we have in minnesota as well as other attractions in minnesota. Love your vids, especially the one where you and your wife went to where they filmed dirty dancing. So jealous! Lol
This might not be the one we went to. I remember buildings where you could watch them blow glass an another one where you could see a person making candles etc.
Hey, you should check out Trees of Mystery in Northern California. Big old Paul Bunyan statue and some other interesting things. Also Confusion Hill around the same area is an interesting roadside attraction a little ways south of there.
I grew up in Eau Claire...cant believe I missed ya but I just wanted to correct ya on something. The Eau in Eau Claire sounds or is pronounced as "O" so when you say it, it sounds like O Claire...also I've been to the museum numerous times, its a great place
It looks like Paul needs to take an axe safety class if I'm seeing that opening shot correctly. Looks like he cut his left arm off at the elbow? Now he can be a shop teacher.
Paul had extra big salt we'll say, and never used a fork to eat pancakes doesn't every one use a spoon and knife to eat pancakes? 🤔 no......just me and Paul Bunyan?
You did a place with Paul Bunyan before I think. It was a restaurant if I remember right. Alot of people will never know or hear about Paul Bunyan. Her was a comic book hero.
Paul Bunyan is one of the country’s oldest Tall Tales heroes like Pecos Bill and John Henry . Many regions of the country had tall tales about their local industries - Paul was a lumberjack, Bill was a Cowboy and John Henry was a “ steel driving man”. Comic books didn’t exist until many decades after the tall tales were well-known!
I am reminded of the Monty Python sketch 'I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay!' Great video as always.
Hi Jacob, great vlog at the Paul Bunyan museum! Have a great summer!
I've been suggesting this place for years! The city is pronounced "Oh Claire" but Eau well.
As a former Wisconsinite that made me cringe, but since I murder place names in my current state of New York, I can forgive Jacob.
I caught that as well. I was like, "what did he say?" Yes, it's 'Oh Claire." I thought Jacob lived in WI?
Lol your face at the end, oops nearly tripped Jacob xxx 😊
What a fun place. Will certainly visit on my next Wisconsin visit. Thanks for the Paul Bunyan postcard.
I'm a Minnesota Paul Bunyan gal. Live in Texas but grew up summering in Brainerd Minnesota area in the 60s and 70s!
Im a minnesnowta gal too
I Love the video!! It's always very fun watching your videos, because they are entertaining and it feels like we are there with you! You're also a humorous guy haha I always enjoy it!
Hi Carpetbagger! Love the museums. Great video.
Paul is native to Northern Minnesota. Hence the Lumberjack thing.
Yes he is
@@kristinewood7030 I'm gonna be Paul Bunyan for Halloween this year!
Thats awesome! Represent my home!
That’s a nice museum. I like Paul Bunyan
Great video carpetbagger 🙂
If you want to see a giant Paul Bunyan Statue, you should visit Bangor Maine!
Take a shot every time he says Paul Bunyan
I went to this place for a field trip 2 years ago
I still use that exact same time clock! HA!👍
This was a FANCY video
Just think, if Lumberjacks had access to TH-cam or other Social Media back in the day, the legend of Paul Bunyan would probably not exist.
I have been there. We drove there when we were stationed in Minnesota.
I spy the statues of Paul and Babe in Bemidji, MN on that postcard in the display case at the beginning! Hope you're traveling that way to see them!
I'm more of a Pecos Bill guy, me. Superpowered terraforming is always cooler when executed through improbably accurate marksmanship.
Hey I live in Eau Claire! This is in the Carson Park.
A friend of mine lives in eau claire too
I love in eau claire
Town I grew up in...graduated from Memorial high )))
I'm in Madison and I lost it when he said Awe Claire lol
Welcome to my hometown! By the way Eau Claire is pronounced O Claire...not Aw Claire.
I went to UW Eau Claire. Lots of wild memories there. Went to that museum several times.
Great video , keep up the great work! Enjoy all your video. 😊
Cool video.
Fun places Jacob!
Thanks for the tour. Not sure if I'll get there soon.
Hey carpetbagger. You should check out the one we have in minnesota as well as other attractions in minnesota. Love your vids, especially the one where you and your wife went to where they filmed dirty dancing. So jealous! Lol
I thought you were going to trip/fall at the end. Be carefull!
5:49 That Paul Bunyan photo op looks a lot like Popeye's nemesis Bluto
I ♥ random fun stuff ☺
I thought that dog was real laying there at first....lol
This might not be the one we went to. I remember buildings where you could watch them blow glass an another one where you could see a person making candles etc.
Its too bad a lot of the exhibits were not in order. Havent heard that story in years. Keep safe❤Keep Well❤
Disney has a great version of paul bunion
I know why baby deer have spots like they do now. I didn't even see them laying there at first. That's good camouflage.
It’s hard to not see a Paul Bunyan statue without Pennywise sitting on it!
The Paul Bunyan statue in downtown Bangor, Maine puts this guy to SHAME.
Edit: They also _stole_ Maine's motto? "Vacationland?" XD lol
Paul Bunyan is an interesting story. I wonder if their was a real man named Paul Bunyan. The museum was pretty cool.
You should go check out the little house on the parrie camp and musum and visit the Ingles family grave site
Hey, you should check out Trees of Mystery in Northern California. Big old Paul Bunyan statue and some other interesting things. Also Confusion Hill around the same area is an interesting roadside attraction a little ways south of there.

My dad owns one of them PB whiskey decanters!

Oh or the Greyhound bus museum in hibbing mn!!

As long as IT doesn't take that statue over Richie Tozier should be just fine...

lol, its pronounced oo claire like saying oh. They filmed a movie at the museum called the lumber baron.
It looks like Paul needs to take an axe safety class if I'm seeing that opening shot correctly. Looks like he cut his left arm off at the elbow? Now he can be a shop teacher.
Chippewa was the Name of the Summer Camp that Pugsly and Wednesday Addams went to in the Movie 'Addams Family Values'.
A delicious bass 🤔
Cute video
Was Dusty Rhodes in the bunkhouse?
Not to be a perfectionist or anything but Eau Claire (O-Claire) 🙂
It's pronounced O' Claire
I lost it when he said Awe Claire lol
@@swampthings2593 I'll give him a pass since he's out of state. But everyone else who lives in Wisconsin should know 😂
walleye..not a bass :)
Que pasa Jacob! What kind of syrup he liked?
Well with half an arm I see Paul Bunyan failed to follow proper safety regulations.
You should go to jurustic park in Marshfield WI
Paul Bunton sorta looks like Bluto at times,
Who the hell was Paul Bonyon?
You looked a little tired in the last shot.
Couldn't have been the museum's fault, so I hope you feel fine, man?
I live within an hour of eau claire. p.s. people say "oooh claire"
i like carpetbaggers videos, i just thought id tell you how we pronounce it
Where's the Chuck Norris Museum?
I was thinking how Chuck Norris has taken the place of Folklore today while watching this...
That was a waleye fish
Great video. As an Englishman I knew very little about this character, so thanks.
I live in eau Claire
Paul had extra big salt we'll say, and never used a fork to eat pancakes doesn't every one use a spoon and knife to eat pancakes? 🤔 no......just me and Paul Bunyan?
