I love lemon juice and drink it very often. I just went for a yearly check up and the sonogram guy was marvelling at how clear my organs are. I've been following Dr. Berg"s advice for about 4 years. I'm 71.

I have been able to keep my stones from needing surgery with just juice from a whole lemon and water, once or twice a day for about 3 1/2 years. It helps ease the pain as well. I have had stones developing and needed lithotripsy many times as they get too large to pass quickly and I have so many allergies to medicine that when my urologist suggested the lemon juice I jumped on it. I am so glad I did. When my kidney hurts, I drink a glass of lemon water and very soon the pain is gone. It hasn't gotten rid of them completely, but works well enough that we keep lemons on hand.

She needs to see a urologist ASAP. If she is vomiting and in severe pain, the stone may have dropped from the kidney into the uterer or bladder and blocking her urine. This is dangerous if it goes on too long. I'm speaking from recent experience.

Nephrologist prescribed Potassium citrate & advised to drink lemon juice daily. I have had 2 surgeries for kidney stones, latest surgery for staghorn kidney stones. Also my internal medicine Dr, took me off calcium supplements after suddenly blood work showed high calcium( I have blood work every 3 months), put me on D3. Also, used to have such low sodium, my shoulder replacement was postponed.Drinking Electrolyte supplements solved that problem. Loving spinach( do not care for kale) very difficult to give up. Still have sometimes, & have always had with cheese & sometimes fresh lemon.. Blood work shows normal results. I drink plant based teas & water daily, Cannot have caffeine. Thankfully, I am not a coffee drinker.

alien4fish Not more than 3 grams of salt per day is the recommended Amount for most people. For those who are prone to calcium stones. Need to take much less , as salt binds with oxilates and calcium to form said stones . Too much salt in so many forms in our diets these days, so many people live on fast foods in all forms .

Fortunately I can advise you on vitamin C. If you take vit. C in large doses, which is great, but take natural one in a powder form only. Let's say you take 10 grams which is 2 teaspoons and put them in the glass. To prevent any kidney stones you must add 5 grams of sodium bicarbonate which is plain baking soda but it must be without aluminum, that is important so always ask or read the label before you use it. Therefore - 2 teaspoons of C + 1 teaspoon of soda bic. and add cold water about half of the glass or as you like. Soda will also make vitamin C about 80x more absorbable or digestible than if taken without it. Wait about a minute before the most of bubbles are gone and drink it all at once. You will feel great and if you have any flu symptoms it usually goes away in minutes. If you take vit. C without bicarbonate, you will most likely get kidney stones. The reason is pH of C which is reduced by bicarbonate and it is much healthier and safer to take in any amount. If you take a really large amount like 20 grams you will only get big diarrhea and that is all, nothing else that has to worry you.

In the Philippines, there is a plant called sambong (no English translation, I think) the leaves of which can be boiled into tea. It's effective for shrinking kidney stones. In fact doctors recommend it for patients. If you're too busy to make the tea, or if you're on the go, there are pills made from the leaves of sambong. Very inexpensive (about 15 cents per pill), and very effective. In case you're wondering how other countries deal with the same problem.

Not more than 3 grams of salt per day is the recommended Amount for most people. For those who are prone to calcium stones. Need to take much less , as salt binds with oxilates and calcium to form said stones . Too much salt in so many forms in our diets these days, so many people live on fast foods in all forms .

I'm not sure what to do, my doctor thinks blasting may not work, although he thinks it could be a bunch of little stones, I want to take the ciance Piedra, but what if it dislodges the stone, then I'm screwed. Gout is from too much uric acid. When you fast, the uric acid will spike a little bit up as a stress response before it comes down so that's probably why. I think Dr. Berg explained it in a similar video before.

I am most people that developed a DEMON PEARL and I am going on Day 5 of trying to pass this stone. I was admitted to the ER on Tuesday--given pain meds to do with the initial trauma then discharged with Flowmax and 600mg Tylenol to be taken as needed for pain. I was told that if the stone hasn't passed in 3 days to follow up with the recommended Urologist. My appointment isn't until Monday but I have the whole weekend to endure this pain. My question is how long does it take to dissolve a 5mm Stone on average,

Try this out. Take the centre part of the plantain stem and prepare a juice out of it and drink it along with buttermilk and a little lemon juice. It should be taken on an empty stomach. This flushes out the stones in the kidneys through urine. There are some Indian youtubers who have shown how to prepare the juice.
Also young radish tubers when crushed into juice and consumed (100ml) with a pinch of salt is also quite effective in dissolving the kidney stones. The smaller stones are flushed out through urine.

@@Bibledefender4u I'm not feeling any stone activity after 2 days of lemon and olive oil. I'm going to keep trying the same treatment for as long as it takes and I'm adding 2 table spoons of ACV on alternate days.
No more Almonds or Almond milk or spinach and reducing salt and salty products as much as possible.

What is the pH journey of an acidic substance in the body? Lemon juice, ACV. Its acidic before consumption, then hits stomach juices with hydrochloric acid and becomes alkaline. Does it change back to acid when it enters the bloodstream? Or is it just a bit more alkaline but still acidic upon entering blood stream? Where are the chemists that can explain this?

Avocados contain a low amount of oxalate and are highly alkaline-forming in the body.

Dr Berg. Can you please talk about kidney infection and the cause of high creatnine and high potasium in the body.
Plus the cause of blowing of the stent?
And what's the best food to eat to stop vomiting?

The cheaper lemon juice has sodium benzoate and one other preservative. Is this going to be safe to use because I am on disability and it so little.

Here in the Philippines we use Chanca Piedra. Fortunately we have an abundant source here in Cebu. Powdered in capsule are also available and easy to carry.

Now I'm starting to understand why you recommend a glass of ACV/lemon/cranberry in the evening.

Stinging nettle is known to help remove kidney stones, from centuries. I'm eating it every day now, during spring. Later, older leaves contains cytolits, which can be harmful to kidneys. Then i pick only the 3 top one.
It has other tremendous health benefits as well.

    Dr. Berg
I had a stone for a year before it was discovered this month when I finally got pain. I know now it was over a year in the making because I wet the bed twice a year ago but no one thought to check my kidney. Well after getting extreme pain in my right back side I went to the ER and they saw a 7mm stone. They also saw my creatinine levels up to 1.9 an after removing the stone 2 weeks ago my creatinine is now 1.67 and my EGFR level is 49… My questions are, now the surgery is fine and my stent is now removed, can I expect my creatinine’s level to go back down and my EGFR to go back up 🔝 to normal? If so, how long will it take approximately?

Если вы молодой человек и нет больше в почках камней- это быстро восстановится.
Если вам 60+ , возьмёт время и , скорее всего камни будут появляться снова.
      Нужно постоянно наблюдение
