Life is still going to be as good, even if you're unmarried. Marriage is just an institution and you can choose not believe in it, like religion. There's nothing wrong with not conforming to the idea of marriage if you don't believe in it.

I married twice. At 29 and 44 yrs of age. No kids from neither. At 48 I adopted my then newborn daughter. Who deep in my heart knows she was Heaven sent. And she says God gave her the best Mommy ever. I am financially secure. Both men were very successful. I was well taken care of. Had great divorce Lawyers. I am the happiest single 60 plus year old woman. I never need to be married ever again. People say you going to die alone. I tell them I was born alone. And I've never seen a husband or a wife or a house or even a car or bank account buried with nobody. I don't worry about no man telling me what to buy, how to spend my money or etc.. mind you I never experienced that but I've seen women that did. But these men of today !!! I'd rather be alone and happy and a peace of mind.
The real gag is they are going to die alone too. Even WITH a partner. 😂

I never understood that why people look at other people different when they never been married

When she got tired of his abuse, she raised us all by herself. She was strong and so are her girls.

However I think the the best relationship is the one that is lived according to scripture. Scripture actually protects the family. The woman is not at fault if she was deceived. I agree with everything except the child support part. Women should fight for their right to child support if they have kids with a man, it’s his responsibility too to maintain them. Don’t let them get away free of any burden.

Im my opinion, being single is a good thing. Now, if you want marrige nothing wrong with that. I like being single is great. For instance: Eat when I want, can have a cherry coke and bag of chip for dinner, wash my own clothes, don't have to report to anyone, don't have to put up with nasty attitudes. I wasted my time with a narcissist for more years than I should have. He said things like our friendship/courting was seasonal. I had no self esteem about my self at the time. I found out in time that he only wanted to date older women. Now I know why is because of using her for benefits. He wanted to take up all my time to be with him. I thought at that time he cared for me but my girlfriend told me he was controlling. She was right about all the things about him were true. To make a long story short I left him alone. He has tried to come back in my life but I told him that I am not interested in having someone in my life and no sex. Well he kept trying to get me back and I stayed strong. I am not about to let any man come in my life and disrespect me again. I love listening to the video's Ms.Faye put out. I been dealing with a narcissist for 12 yrs . What I learned from giving my all and it was never enough and the fact I did everything around the home and I only asked of him to clean up behind himself ex. If the tub was clean when he got in there , clean it when you are done. If he was cutting his hair, clean up your mess. The dish you ate off , wash it etc. He was so mad about these things and would fuss hard on our son for the same exact things he didn't want to do , he was a walking contradiction. He left all responsibilities on me to things that went into caring for a child while he did what he wanted to do . He wasn't there for me as emotional support for first appointment , shots etc. Everytime I supported him in anything . My efforts went unnoticed and he would say how it was all him . That's just somethings I delt with and it gets worst . He put his mom and sister before me , he would always uplift them and put me down . Just being in a relationship made me realize how marriage was not an option and since he was a mommas boy and needed someone to care for him. I knew he would depend on me in his elder years and that was not the future I forseen .

I've got my own car, money ,place and still young at 33. 2 kids one is 16 the other is 2.7 years. Im beautiful intelligent and see through alot of BS so my decisions wernt bad they were a lesson, a lesson i learnt early on rather than alot later and entrenched than some other women i see stuck in horrible situations and some of these beautiful souls end up dead because they didnt get out ❤

I was once in love with the idea of marriage. Ran into some bad choices trying to fulfill this ideal life. All was mostly built from Disney movies, romance comedies, and our culture. I wanted kids with a husband, but at 34 I realized this was not forseen. Too many bad choices with eye opening experiences. I had my kids with a Narc. I was blind at the time. And decided then to kick my notion to the curb about marriage & raise my 2 daughters alone. It’s been a Success: they’re both grown and I’m flourishing in Singlehood❤️😇
