Great advice, l love candles so l light candles, l do for me what l use to do for him, l do miss spontaneous conversations but l never had them anyway in fact come to think of it l never had conversations with him, so what did l do? Work outside the home, cook, maintain, mostly take care of him when he wanted something it got done. Seldom went anywhere, l had my pet dogs for company, l was around to support him emotionally and medically as we both aged. I recently realized l have always been alone so what's new? I do what l did for him to and for me now. Lessons learned too late.

I did draw the line on changing my hair, wearing heels, dresses when he wanted me to be more "girly." I am a tom boy, outdoors, fishing, water skiing, playing sports, gardening, also my introvert passions: reading, painting/art, music, photography, cooking. I told him to go find that girly woman with long hair, and coquettish ways. I told his half bald ass, to grow his own hair, since women like to run their fingers thru a man's hair too. That stopped those comments. 😊 😂 "I am me, and willnot change me at the risk of my happiness and self esteem. These controllers wanted me to give up my many interests to do things he liked. I didn't initially start out for celibacy, but just wanted peace and a good man. I wanted someone to love me. Thank the good Lord for the discovery that everything I was looking for was there all along, it was me. There is no one that's is going to be as kind, loving, gentle, patient, etc... to me as I am to myself. I will never put up with any foolishness and mess again. He was a physician and I was a medical secretary, his schedule was crazy and I accommodated him. I did not see my value and worth. But yet I had so much. Long story short, he promised me much and then left me...he married a woman who I'm certain had many requirements for him. Hard...hard lesson learned. As I know now if I'd known of your advice way back then and taken it.. he would've seen me totally different as we had all the other good stuff going in our relationship. Dating is pretty much a game for many of us. But you have to know the game to win. Thank you for the valuable advice. Many young women do not have a mother or family member to tell them these things and they fall prey or are victimized by these guy's. I know I did when I was younger.

I never really knew what a narcissist was until I started watch your videos and of course it seem that’s all I dated in my past. I am 45 years old and I owned three houses in total and of course I lose two of them trusting in the men I dated in my past. Moving forward, I started dated a guy that I got him a good job and pretty much leveled him up. When I brought my third house he wanted to move in a build on what I worked so hard for which I was thinking about doing it. Long story short, he stop talking to me out of no where and come to find out he said to my brother that I don’t show him no attention because all am doing is focusing on getting my degree, which kind you I helped him get a good job took his test and everything for him. Now, I did not run after him just stayed focus on my education so April 29, I will be walking across the stage which am so proud of myself. When I saw your video don’t let a man move in your house I started screaming because I was almost there again for the third time moving a man in and thank God that he removed him out of my life before it happened. Even when I sat down with my kids to ask them what they think my son that is 21 years old said no that if he care we both should save up and buy something in both our names. God is so good! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
