Thank you, Thomas! I've been a huge fan of the new Cupra brand since it's announcement in February and it's great to hear your thoughts on their first standalone car. I think it's a shame about the weak exhaust tone but hopefully an aftermarket solution will fix that.
Great Driving Part - and agility - both on the closed-road Hill Climb, and the Public Road scenes - "Live on Tape", Thomas! Excellent video. And at 27:54 if the 'co-driver' says it's a good feeling, that's more often a reflection on the driver, as in this case. Many thanks Autogefuhl Team for providing us car enthusiasts with your fantastic channel.

Great review as always, just one minor thing the rear cup holders are adaptive :)
I like the copper accents a lot more than I really should... It just gives it a unique touch I think.

That closed rally-style segment gives really good experience, organizers are really daring, not all car journalists has common sense in such situations.

The standard Leon Cupra 300 has recently been updated again for MY19. It has a reduced power output of 290bhp, updated Digital Cockpit, door sills, 7spd DSG and copper Seat 'S' logos.
Thanks for another great video. Car impresses. the new logo and the copper colour doesn't work for me, a case of trying too hard, might work better if they removed the colour altogether?

Pity they did not update the interior for a new launch. Still has the same Leon interior I had in 2013 bar the digital cockpit. They should have enlarged that media screen.
Thrown my Porsche Macan away....bought the Cupra Ateca.....since two days mine...sooooooo much fun with this car! No tears about Porsche, sorry! Loved to drive the cupra since the first testdrive!!

1 Note ...the rear cup holders are adaptive they inlays can be removed and adjusted according to size of container...this aside i think thomas captured covered most features

I think Seat and Sköda are building better VW’s than VW at the moment. I also believe this to be one of the most appealing European products for sale today. I dont usually care for VW’s, but I can’t find one detail about this vehicle which disagrees with me.

Stelvio is way bigger, at least 1 segment more. Also, 10.000€ more expensive.

Car makers must be laughing all the way to the bank these days with the popularity of the “ flat, chalk” colors. Its so much cheaper and easier to paint a car in what is essentially primer with some clear coat then it is to do a pearl or metallic paint... to me, that type of flat color just looks like a government service vehicle.... to each there own i guess but ill take a nice pearl three stage finish.
true, afaik that colour was rather a coincidence at some point where they didnt put the final paint on and some1 at Audi said: Wait a minute, this could work =)
How does this compare to the Golf R estate as family daily driver? I think this is more attractive. Perhaps not as engaging but straight-line performance, seems pretty similar. Perhaps this is more comfortable?
The more upright seating position is pleasing for comfort indeed. Rest of technology is quite similar. The estate (Golf or Seat Leon Cupra) has a longer trunk.

Me personally Thomas I don't see the point of this car. I wish Seat spent a little bit more money developing a limited edition Ibiza or a new 2 door sports coupe . Or maybe Seat should be concentrating on more sustainable vehicles I think .
Hey Autogefühl, your reviews are excellent but I have one criticism. Please don't do so many reviews with cars with the highest trim level and/or the highest motorization like this one. Or to put it positively, please do more reviews for the normal car buyer. I mean how many viewers are gonna buy the 300 hp Cupra Ateca and how many the normal Ateca 1.4 TSI? The answer is pretty obvious, right? The Seat Ateca is just an example, I noticed that I'm looking for a "normal" car and I only find the most expansive and powerful version of a car in your reviews. For example the Mercedes AMG you reviewed two months ago has got 76.000 views but the Mazda3 review you did 5 days ago has got 170.000 views. This should tell you something about viewers preferences.

Autogefühl: I hope someday they will fully integrate android auto to digital dashboard, because that make me the most sense from it.
It doesn't look sporty enough compared to the standard FR Sport model. Even the alloys are the same size.
Also, making Cupra a stand alone brand just doesn't make sense.

You have to check every review where we state the consumption in the driving part (sometimes in the engine part), we always take an average of our testing which usually includes several driving conditions.

Dear Autogefühl, could you guys please start breaking your reviews down to timed sections such as: exterior 1.35 seconds. Exterior 2.45 seconds. Engine/fuel consumption 12.22 seconds etc. I really like your reviews, sometimes I'm only searching for a particular fact about a car such as load/luggage space or launch control and it would be good to jump to particular sections rather than search through 45 mins of video.
