Note the the availability of the Akrapovic exhaust: It was initially available for the new facelift model, then there was an availability problem, however it is scheduled that you will be able to order it again from spring 2021. As for the drive mode button at the steering wheel: Holding it a little longer makes you directly jump to the cupra mode and back again.

I have the preface lift version and love it.
Most people don't know what it is and that's the beauty.
When people try cut in from the wrong lane aggressively they are shocked where this tank appeared from
If you push and hold the CUPRA button on the steering wheel it jumps straight to CUPRA mode, just as an FYI for everybody :-)

Adam you are looking around £350pm with a £3k deposit on a lease. I'd imagine double the deposit and £450pm on PCP.

I had one for a day with the full program (options) and i really liked it! It was a lot of fun with the sound and everthing.
I was very surprised. One of the coolest things, the seats come with alcantara and leatherette, not real leather!!! Finally :)

That launch control was pretty sweet! I like where Seat's designs are heading, and honestly, the Ateca is a nice blend of modernity, and tactility with a real gear lever, and climate control. Great and informative video as usual, Autogefuhl!

Looks absolutely stunning
I didn't get the Akrapovic exhaust, rather the spare tyre in the trunk instead. My car is now one year old and I'm very happy with it - starting to alter driving modes in the variable choice. It's a pleasure to drive this car.

I still prefer Cupra Ateca over Cupra formentor.
Design looks more flashy on formentor but ateca still has buttons and integrated infotainment!!! Ateca wins
Just bought one in AUS where the Cupra brand is new - I love it and the logo is very suitable to the brand. It has an edge to its design, cannot be soft. This car even performs on a track but for me Comfort is just fine every day, don't need crackles from the exhaust, thanks.

Will I find this car to have alot of road noise? Coming from Audi A4 2016.
Thanks for the video! Is it fair to say in your opinion that noise insulation is not great for a car with that price tag? Can you compare it to Seat Arona? Also, do you know if Android Auto / Apple CarPlay are wireless as well? Last question: do you intend to review "normal" facelifted Ateca? :) Thanks!

Personal and subjective - but for me the copper on the wheels clashes with red body, can you change the rims ?

I have a 2019 with old infotainment system and also i pref the old seats rather then full sports seats with less adjustment option as far as the headrest is concerned..toitally see where your coming from with regards to the the downgrades.
Not really a fan of the new design...But when it comes to performance it catches up very well with it's opponents ...Let's hope seat will give it a cooler shape on it's next generation!!

Hi Thomas, I have a question (concern): With the engine start/stop button up on the steering wheel, how safe is this?
I feel that it could perhaps be accidentally / unintentionally pushed?
I’d like to think they have added a safety function, so it cannot operate while the car is in motion...please can you confirm?
Push start buttons in most modern cars don't switch off the engine with just a press when the car is in motion. You'd have to hold the button down, so I think it's pretty safe.

In the UK this is around the same price as a golf mk8 GTi. I know with some extras this is more expensive but seriously why go for a golf over this?

Thomas, what is the length of your legs (bottom of foot to top of your hips)? You always let us know your height but as a taller driver than you it would help to know how long your legs are (so not a weird fetish on my part, sorry) :)

This is very outdated design exterior and interior. Same as a Leon 8 years ago.
Not even close to true and given this is an almost identical shape to all other VAG small SUV's a weird comment.
