Nah but congratulations for getting your hands on one because those printers are hard to find.
I ended up getting the 7210 printer and bought the prefilled cartridges. I bought them for the 7720 printer but couldn’t get my hands on one but was happy to know that the 7210, 7710 and 7720 all use the same cartridges.
Great tutorial! I got this to work on the 7720. After it timed out on me @ 99%, more than several attempts. I finally found a work around.
How did you do a work around. Because I was sick at 83% now 99%
I had to disable firmware updates. Once I did that, I ran it again and it was a successful installation afterwards.

Thanks for posting this. I have a xp446, will i need to do the button sequence on the printer that Inkchip uses? Your way seems much easier.
Only if it doesn't work in normal mode.
When installing chipless firmware do we need cartridges in the printer & do they need to have the chips or not have the chips on them? Also does my printer need to be set back to factory to do this so I can choose not to auto update? Neither of my 2 epson wf printers will install chipless firmware. Keeps failing on install. Both are currently being used with refillable chip Reset cartridges.
hi dynamite, thank you for the video i did an update tonight and its giving me an error code stating printer in an error state. i cleaned all my heads its all aligned and not blotchy the actual epson does show i still have ink in there but i cant print? can you assist me?i have 2 mugs to sub
I followed this step by step for the WF 7720 and it keep saying firmware did not update it failed I did it three times it cut off and came back in at 71 percent
does this work for Wf7725 as well?

On both my epson wf-7720 & wf-2850 When installing the chipless firmware at 99% complete it throws up a window saying firmware couldn't be installed to check that usb cable is connected & internet is working & then retry. Obviously it's not the printers as it's happening to both. Something is blocking it at 99% or maybe cable is bad. I dont know. I'm stuck not able to use my printers I need running for my bisoness.
It's supposed to stop at 99%. Go to the ink chip . Net website and see the forums. It will explain it in there. Or see my chipless install video for the wf2850 and see the description for the updated video.
@@McZell should it stop at 99% and throw up a window saying firmware install failed to check usb connection?

What epson do you recommend for sublimation?
Any of the 4 color Epson eco tank printers will work. if you are looking at Cartridge based printers, make sure that they have a chipless firmware available for that model so you don't run into cartridge reading issues.

I followed all instructions, but when try and print I get an error that reads: “stopped-‘filter’failed” how can I fix it?

No. Does it do it with all paper? Try changing the paper or changing the paper thickness setting.
