Oh my goodness i really thought i had messed my printer up. Then i found this video today and i did all three suggestions right after i had did another printhead cleaning solution. OMG it worked. My Cayan stopped working last Friday. Well it was out of ink actually all of my cartridges were empty, not sure how they were printing. I did the steam method twice, and right before I printed I did the syringe thing in the Cayan only. I cleaned the print heads and then printed and it worked. Of course I have a little mess on my printout, but a couple of test prints will clear this up. I AM SO GLAD I CAME ACROSS YOUR YOU TUBE ON THIS!!! You know I am a follower now. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Thanks a million to this tutorial. My black ink was not printing at all no matter how many times I print head clean it. I did the hot water soak 2 times followed by priming the line on each soak. Now its printing.. thank you so much. ❤️

I have a WF 7710, got it from my BIL a few months ago and I havent been able to to print with it. The yellow is not printing at all now... but the printer will recognize the ink... but I am still not able to print the yellow... im steaming it right now..

I have a Epson et 2650 ecotank and it's just printing blank pages. Have cleaned the printhead numerous times. Even used syringes to clean the nozzles. Still blank pages. Really can't afford to buy a new printer right now. Tried all of the above. Will re try it all again. Wish me luck.

I have an epson 2800. I printed a purge page and the blue is definitely clogged, the other colors came out great on the purge print. So when I take mine apart and add the hot water should I just add it to the blue section or all or it like you did? Thank you for your time.
My 7710 has recently started jamming pulling from the tray im not sure why so I've been back feeding it which is annoying now the colors only print blue and not the correct colors. I've replaced the magenta and the yellow cartridges and its still not printing correct
I have an ET 2720 and I'm not quite sure how I would prime it. Instead of where you refill the cartridges being just a circle, it has a divider in the middle. So it's 2 half circles, and I can't fit a syringe into refill the cartridge (if that makes sense). Do you have any suggestions?
I don’t know if there’s a way to prime ecotanks. I’m new to ecotanks and haven’t had a clog get bad enough that I’ve looked into that. Most of the steps in this video are meant for printers with cartridges, aside from printing a purge sheet. You can do that with an ecotank.
I ran power cleaning on my ET 2720. Then did a nozzle check print and black wasn’t printing well. But it did say print will improve after 24 hours. And it did.

I have the Epson 7710 and what works for me is to inject a lil ink into the bottom of the cartridge into that sponge area and it corrects after a head cleaning. What I need help with is unclogging the smaller Epson 2720 Magenta color. Any advice would be great. Thnx
I’m not familiar with that specific model but if I remember correctly that’s basically a smaller version of the 7720, so the steps to try should be the same.
I converted my epson7210 into a sublimation printer I got it yesterday and followed the steps but it will only print blank pages can you please help me
I haven’t used that model and I haven’t dealt with a clog on mine yet that wasn’t fixed with a single head cleaning. Have you tried any head cleanings yet? Does your printer have the option for a “power head cleaning” or anything worded similar? A stronger option to try if the normal head cleaning doesn’t work.
Big oof. This came up as a top result on Google for fixing Epson printer heads. Tried the steam water method. Got Yellow and Cyan working but nothing on Black or Magenta. Tried a second time. Smelt smoke, printer shut off and now have an error code of 0x9A and won't turn on. Just spent $70 on new ink cartridges and this video I think just killed my printer. Someone else in the comments mentioned that it's a super bad idea to fill that tray with water as you could cause spillage and I'm guessing that's what happened to me.
Watched your video. Just made the printer worse, RUINED IT!! It started making a super loud noise that I have never heard before with error flashing! Totally broken. Had to go buy a new one.
I’m sorry you had problems with your printer! Can I ask what step you were on that caused the issue? And what error it gave you? I have been using these techniques for years now, which were passed along to me from various ink suppliers, and even printer repair shops, so I’d love to be able to pin down what went wrong in order to help avoid this happening to anyone else. Obviously the goal here was to help people fix their printers, so if there’s something I need to be aware of, I would love more information, if you’re willing to explain further. Also, what printer did you end up buying and how much did you spend to replace it? I would like to try to help make that right too. ET-4700 here (ink tank) with Hiipoo sub ink. I've tried each method three times, with the print head cleans in-between. Unfortunately, the print test will look OK after one or two of the methods, but then when printing either the purge sheet or anything else, the colors will fade from full strength, to dull with lines, to nothing during the prints. I've also done at least two power cleanings, waiting the 12 hours in-between. Wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue or has any suggestions? Was printing perfectly fine around 1-2 months ago.

Hi I have the same printer like you and use the same sublimation ink and when I did the nozzle check some lines are missing. I tried pushing alcohol through the print head and it worked for the black but not the blue. I’m so frustrated I feel like tossing it and buying a new printer.

So mad that I didn't come across your video first! But I'm still getting streaks after the 5th print head cleaning.
Let it rest overnight. Sometimes it just needs some time to soak after doing all those steps.

Have you let it rest yet! Sometimes it needs some time to let the ink soak into the printheads and soften things up.
