- Are you tired of your Epson 7720 or 7710 printer stopping Mid-Print after a low ink warning? A chip resetter is a MUST HAVE for you. In this video I will show how to use the chip resetter. DO NOT OVER use it!! Each time you reset you will HAVE to do a print head cleaning and cleanings waste ink and fills up your maintenance box. Try to Only use once one color is close to being out or if you are about to do a really big print job.
This works whether you have Pigment Ink, Dye Sublimation Ink or Dye Ink in your refillable cartridges

I have been using mine for a good 5 months, now it started to recognize only black one. Now I went and buy the refillable ones and now even when all are new it’s not recognizing the yellow. I just ordered this chip hopefully it works.

I purchased the sublimation conversion kit for the new WF-7820 and I did everything as per your video. However, it is not recognizing 2 of the 4 colors and I am getting the error telling me to replace the cartridges. If I understand correctly, the only thing to do would be new chips, correct? If so, these are new....so now what? Are they possibly bad? Please help!

Question here: does the chip reset tool work with ink # 215 for wf-110 epson printer? I accidentally pulled out the NEW cartridge to align and lock because it came loose on the latch, while in transport, in my luggage.. it keep saying install new cartridge :( this set of inks are fresh out of the box. Hello!!! I have a couple of Epson WF 7210. I’m not able to use neither of them. I have the red x on both of them. That’s reading that it’s not recognizing my refillable cartridges. I have prime and etc. I really would love to order the resetter. I just need to know what’s relatable for my printer, wf-7210. Hi, unfortunately no you just have to wait until the chip counter reaches 0 and you get the x and cartridge no recongnized error. Once you get that take out the one cartridge, top it off with ink and then put it back in the printer. It will then reset to full

how do I refill the sensor for wf 3820? It detects no ink even though I filled it. Using clear cartridges

Only other way is to wait for the X to pop up after a low ink warning and the printing saying cartridge not recongnized. Once you get that you take that 1 cartridge out and put it back into the pri ter to reset. But you can't reset them all at one time without the resetter.

Yes I reuse. They same that for use in medical environments however for your ink you can reuse.

Does the resetter work for WF-4830 series of printers? Or do you have one for these?
I personally have not ever used one of those printers so i cant say yes or no. If it had an auto rest chip it should work on a single use maybe not

There is no resetter for the 7840 ( 7820 or 7310) for those you have to replace the chips and that can be hit or miss.

We switched out the chip but still had problems after the cartridge was recognized again. We followed your instructions for pushing air through the printheads and that did the trick. There us no such thing. There is no way to reset 812 chips. You have to purchase replacement chips which we do sell

Hi the resetter is not working for my black ink. I have a EPWF 7210. It works for all the other colors but the black cartridge wont work no matter how many times I use the resetter, can you advise what I should do?
The chip may have gone bad. And you may need a new cartridge.

If the cartridges from your vendor/supplier is an auto reset one yes. If it has single use chips it will not work.

I just found out that the chip reader can work for the 7840. You can buy a 7 pin resetter and use it for the 7840 cartridges.

there is no way to reset them you have to keep buying the Epson cartridges
I just found out that the chip reader can work for the 7840. You can buy a 7 pin resetter and use it for the 7840 cartridges.

@@amrahanadeem6923 when I tested it I think the ink was too low to reset. The person that I heard from said it worked for them. I'm going to try again before it gets too low.

I just simply refilled mines with ink…7720….would say ink not recognize but they kept working anyway. I’ve never used a reset chip or anything. Guess I gets lucky all the time…
No not luck. The chips are auto reset. So if they get to the x warning they will reset once one take them out and put it back in. That only works one color at a time and can stop multiple times in the middle of a print. With the resetter you can reset them all at the same time and before you ruin a print by it stopping mid print.
your video is great. but your camera angle was not set so we could see which hole you were putting the ink.
Hi, I have more detailed videos on filling and priming cartridges this one was mainly about the reset process. Uou fill hole is ALWAYS the hole closest to the chip side no matter what kind of cartridge you have.
