I have 95% of the tools already and been thinking about doing stuff like this for a while now and I am pulling the trigger and ordered enough stuff to build a few of these. I am heading to Home Depot this weekend to get the plywood and trim boards to make my first one. I am hoping to make this a side hustle because we all know disability insurance does not pay the bills. I would like to make a few of them a month. Thanks for an excellent how to video on the shelf. I wish more creators had as much details as you show. Most of them show tid bits and then viola they are done. Keep up the great work!
Your emphasis on business is much appreciated. It makes a lot of sense but is so under represented in the woodcraft community of "influencers". Of course your teaching of skills is very valuable. Thank you.

Thanks for the more detailed video. I wanted to share a tip, when beveling the ply base, I cut and assembled the crown then used a 7/16” 45 degree bearing bit on my router to bevel the crown and base in one pass. This way when the case is closed there is no gap between the crown edges and wall. You could also use a round over bit or the table saw.
