No doubt the SS 1LE is more than a match for that Z, but it is always easier to follow a car's tail lights at night than to be the lead car. You're really just tailgating. It's not like he has anywhere to pull over and let you pass.
@@StirlingMossDrives Not to mention that would be a super unsafe pass, no reason to risk your life and the Z drivers life just to be lead car. Better to sit back and have some fun
@@user-bi2me1kj7p We never pass each other during an aggressive run, only lead follow. Only time we pass if the lead car wants you to pas and puts on their blinkers.
@@StirlingMossDrives Thats how it should be done, with this new “cutting up” trend going around ive seen way too many randoms i run into acting unbelievably stupid and unsafe. Anytime i’m racing somebody, or lead/following i try to avoid doing maneuvers that can potentially cause them to crash or me to hit them etc. Feel like now alot of people are way too aggressive, acting like its a free for all😂
@@StirlingMossDrives I know how it goes I have a 2019 SS 1LE manual as well in crush orange and ADHD so I drive like an aggressive (and defensive) asshole everywhere. It's too much damn fun not to. Love your videos, good skill. I respect your response as this seems like a calculated risk. As long as you are ok with that and wise enough to know what this kind of behavior eventually leads to, no matter how good you think you are. The streets are much different than a road course because there are much other factors out of your control. WA state has the ridge it's absolutely sick, 100+ on the corners and 2.2 miles long. I'm stoked I'm throwing a flex fuel along with my current rotofab and getting a Dyno tune finally on Nov. 10. Looking forward to more content. God bless you bro. Oh and if you don't already have a track alignment go get that ASAP 🔥.
@@KelvieDee Sweet man always nice to see other 1le’s out there! But you are 100% correct. Won’t sugar coat it and we know it’s reckless but it’s as good as it gets. We do it late at night with minimal traffic, and the road is in a big hiking park so it’s really dead at night. No houses are anything. Always a chance a deer comes out or even us making a mistake but we’re willing to go for it. Sounds crazy but it’s our release. Sounds like you’re gunna have a good time! Thanks for the kind words and be safe as well! I do have an alignment but not full track, sort of hybrid for the street & track. -2 camber front -1.5 rear and a slight toe out up front and in at the rear 👍
SS is def quicker but being lead car while its that dark is tough too. Both sound good though, but camaro could be a lil louder lol
Yeah being lead car sucks😂 in pretty much any situation in my opinion

He is def faster there than I. My equipment is better, I can follow him and stay on him but if the rolls were reversed he’d be parked on my bumper.

I retract this statement these days. If the rolls were reversed he would get absolutely smoked. Surpasses his skill level on this road 10 fold.
When did this episode of initial d come out.
New episodes! 😂
Tbh, it would've been nice to see american muscle cars appear in Initial D
More like Camaro was cursing behind smashing 370Z 🗿
Can I has smoke
You know they make road courses for this kind of stuff? ... Cherish your blessings and be wise.
Yes sir, I respect the concern. We know what we’re doing.
