The Nissan 370Z was ahead of it's time back in 2008. With automatic rev matching, an upgraded VQ engine platform, and sharp handling - it was a fantastic performance bargain...at the time. However the 370Z definitely overstayed its welcome until the new 2023 Nissan Z finally premiered as an update with a new twin turbo engine - on the 370z chassis. Today we hop in the first ever all motor build I've driven in this platform and it was obnoxious... yet surprising.

I'm sorry, but Dave or any other sponsor like them is deplorably bad. This only highlights the disparity that people across this Country are living in poverty. So much so the only way they can get by is an advance on a paycheck they'd otherwise earn from the work they'd be doing. It's downright sickening that people accept this as normal, it doesn't have to be normal.
It's painful to say, but I live by the principal that all people should make a living wage. Though if at that point they make bad financial choices that's on them, and I can't really have empathy for that. I love the content this channel provides, but it's getting increasingly more difficult for me to even support, giving a like or share to help grow this channel. I get it, the expenses you have are costly, but surely a subscriber or fans only donations to content would offset what you'd stand to lose from these awful sponsors. Be it we get your uploads early, get to vote on future content, chat with you, etc surely that'd be objectively better, wouldn't it?

I own a 2011 Infiniti EX35. It has the VQ35HR with 297HP from factory, and the same chassis and the G35/37 only a couple inches longer and a wagon body.
The thing is decently quick, looks unassuming, and is practical as hell with some nice frills.
If you're ever looking for a practical sleeper that is a little different look into them. They can be modified quite if you don't want to keep it stock as well.

A buddy of mine had a 370z, I scratched my head as to why he'd buy that vs. getting a 5.0 mustang. I understood why he bought it after he let me drive it; you feel connected to it, like it's an extension of your body. The way the cockpit felt, the rev-matched downshifts, the sound of a healthy V-6 was a ton of fun. There is something to be said about staying N/A and having a high RPM screamer.

I've had my 370Z for almost a year and love it to death (I've only done basic mods so far... softer clutch pedal spring, Invidia Gemini catback exhaust and a level 1 tune). No, it's not the fastest car in a straight line, but the ridiculous speed you can carry into corners and somehow not spin out more than makes up for it. The sound of an N/A VQ screaming at 7,000 rpm is just indescribably beautiful. The Z is a timeless, pure driver's car.

People always hate popcorn tunes until they get one. It's addictive. As long as you like your build fuck everyone else. It's like showing up to a car meet with a miata and everyone has ferraris. You'll be "that guy" but if it makes you happy then do you. Absolutely love the Z chassis. Even the z31 that doesn't get as much love as it should. The z34 is one of my dream cars. Her name will be McKen-Z❤️🇯🇵

I used to have a 370Z and this burble tune crap reminds me of the people that put on those obnoxiously loud exhausts on their 4 cylinder Honda civic. Having an obnoxious exhaust setup on a Z or VG in general reminds me of that. “I’ve got a stupid loud car but I’m slow!!” Sort of thing.

I have a G37 coupe and I love it. I've always preferred the styling of the G37 over the 370. The only other car I've owned which got as much love as my G, Is my 2007 Z06. I get compliments on my G so much that it's annoying. I thought about selling it at one point, but changed my mind. Both nice looking and fun cars without a doubt.

    Top 3
    1. Obnoxious when straight piped
    2. Owners driving around like they got 600hp
    3. Again the owners just give them a bad look

      @RoMeeHang ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. I agree with you, I hate that rasp and pop sound and I have no idea why so many Z owners like that.
      2. It's because everyone want to race them. Every time I drive my 370z, Mustang, Charger, Audi, Golf, owners always trying to race me. All I want to do is get to work in stop and go traffic.
      3. All car owners are bad, Mustangs owners doing donuts and crashing into trees and running into ditches. Charger owners speeding down the highway trying to race everyone and their grandmother.

    • @alrod9535

      1) Not always true...look into helmholtz for exhaust...you can straight pipe with long tube headers and sounds amazing. VQs actually have a very nice tune with the right exhaust set up.
      2) Guys just having fun with their cars. Z can handle and corner like a fighter jet on land. So even though they are not fast in straight line (mine's on nitrous btw and slicks)...they can carve corners.
      3) Can't argue with this...seems like the Honda crowd is slowly migrating this way and scene has changed since more than a decade ago. I'm always looking to hop to maybe a GTR or something else, but the Z keeps reeling me back in. Car is just fun especially with the right mods.

I love stick shift I’m currently swapping my CRV to 5 speed in a few months to join my 9th gen civic in the manual club. But I guarantee I cannot shift as fast as or as efficient as a modern automatic. The new accord 10 speed is amazing the 10 speed mustang and my buddies ZF 8 speed in his BMW are also great this doesn’t even scratch the DSG surface. Obviously golden age muscle cars, JDM cars, and European cars are better with a manual transmission but for modern speed unless you just want an analog drivers car the manual isn’t the choice for speed anymore not sure why so many people treat modern autos like the plague.
