My 5th Gen ZL1 lowered with a sticky Yokohama Advan tire, and now making 700whp is amazing. Owned it for a little over 2 years now, and its a blast to drive.
Great choice getting the 1LE. The little extras the 1LE has over a standard SS make a big difference. Don't get me wrong, both are great cars but the 1LE package is worth it
The Z28 was meant as the track weapon Camaro and reflected that in a lot of little choices. It's lighter than the ZL1 by a bit, and had stiffer suspension, to say the least. The choice of the aging LS7 vs the LSA can be debated, but probably cheaper and weight savings were the deciders. The titanium rotating assembly in the LS7 is so cool though. It had weird quirks not present in the others and it goes toe to toe with some real fast cars.
What did you start with as a base? I have a 2015 2ss rs and the guy that had it before hardly drove it so it's only got 25k km . Was thinking of doing the same.
@@AlexDesplanque I have a 2013 2ss rs as well and at first I did FBO cam with supporting mods plus ported heads TB and manifold and realized it wasn’t fast enough so just got a procharger biggest thing I say is get a good fuel pump and injectors and you will be fine I’ve done regular maintenance and it’s still strong as ever and I just use it for racing in weekends I’ve had this setup for 10k miles so far
OK I have a genuine question, I just picked out a 2014 camaro rs in a manual and something I've been looking for is a oil cooler. They didn't come stock but that would be super hard to get around if it wasn't the cartridge oil filter. I know that there are oil filter conversions out there, especially for toyotas, reason being that I want one is especially here in Michigan the summers can be brutally hot. Any ideas? Let me know

There plenty you can do already , headers , tune , exhaust but changing out that intake manifold to the lfx one will help it a lot and you can run the 80mm throttle bodies on it from the trucks , get it ported along with the manifold spacer , good power difference
@@cormaro13 I’ve done headers, exhaust and a tune, the only thing I have left to do would be the lfx intake manifold conversion with the 80mm TB and the mace engineering cams. I wish I could run e85 but the ecm in the 2010-2011 can’t read it and I’d have to change the lines
OK I GOT A V6 rs 2014 I wanna mod the look of the car like side skirts wheels and the lip and spoiler performance lvl I really don't care cause it is my first car and my dad got it for me crash and I fixed it with him but im thinking of adding a supercharge or a turbo and don't know what to add or if I should just add both I need help
A boy and his v6 , that was me 10 years ago 😂 , you can do a super charge or twin turbo but it can only handle 450 hp then boom so like 10 psi, then you’re going to need to forged everything which gets expensive then suspension I say put your love into the body , do a tune after a exhaust and cold air intake change and keep up oil changes and timing chains on it along with the notorious purge valve solenoid , go gm on that , the Chinese ones don’t last
