@@GirlieGarage i put it off for so long but i finally did it! And let me tell ya it took a while. Like 2 or 3 hours and a trip to autozone for a shorter spark plug socket, but I got the job done 😀 my biggest issue was an ignition coil of which the head broke off and left the boot in the cylinder. Thankfully i got it out with pliers. Again, thank you for teaching me how to change my own spark plugs :) Edit: typos

Great video! My sister needs her plugs replaced for sure. She would like her coil packs replaced also. What is good could pack to go along with the plug replacement? JAH
Honestly, just get the stock/OEM part number from Honda and buy the honda ones online. They are made to last (I usually don’t replace them unless one starts to go bad and then you replace all of them at the same time)
Your owners manual will tell you the best one. Usually you want to purchase something that is OE (original equipment) quality or better. I personally like NGK

why didn't you change the coil packs with the plugs? do they have to be in a certain order.. I just bought a 09 hybrid with 197k on it.. don't think its ever been touched... i ordered new everything! it runs and drives ok, just a little shaky.
My coil packs seemed to be fine. If you are reusing them then they need to go back in the same cylinder they came out of. If you have 200k, wouldn’t hurt to freshen everything up

Is their a specific size for the spark plug socket? The spark plugs have a 14mm Hex.
8 Spark Plugs on a 1.3L engine, Honda has created an ABOMINATION.
It's so that it doesn't need to use the starter. Turn the key and it's on.
Start by removing the engine… K swap everything! Good stuff on a hybrid. 👍🏽

Do the plugs need to be gapped?
Iridium plugs should not have to be gapped but you should always check them, you never know what happens during shipping
