PS have you ever changed BMS modules on hybrid batteries or do you just swap out the entire pack (cells and BMS modules)? I have to change bms modules on my 2013 CRZ LiON battery but can’t find videos of it online. I do know all electrical components (inverter, and other items) are on top of it as opposed to next to it as seen on this Civic on the video.
Did this require any recalibration or programming of any kind? Also, it looks like you only put electrical tape at the exposed large electrical loops/terminals. Are there any other places to put tape to cover/stop electric shock risk?
Hey, if you can chime in....I had the Dc Power Inverter go on my 2012 civic hybrid last fall at roughly 116k miles. A year later, the ac compressor is now shot at 133k miles. Around what mileage do you tend to see the hybrid power packs tend to go? I dont wanna put 3k into this car to fix it if im liable to get another 2k or so issue within the next year or two due to the hybrid battery going bad? Can you comment on that at all possibly?
