i was told these engine's wheren't able to be tuned since the piston rings are a weak point? anyways i own a mito QV (same chassis) and they are briliant cars with some small mods. especialy for the price
I would guess that the car has more weight on front axle, and when braking weight transfer adds even more on front axle, so you really do not need brakes on rear axle.
The smallest vented rotors you can put on the rear (from another Opel / Vauxhall) are 292mm which would be a touch big on such a short wheelbase car unless the fronts were at least the 330 or 345mm setup with 4/6 piston calipers. They have a Z16LER 1.6 litre engine.
Very fun little cars lol Mine is stock, I kinda wonder is that rollcage actually street legal? I read somewhere we can't register those in Germany..? Also, is it forged or just completely stock internals with a full exhaust system?
Always believed that OPCs were great bargain sportscars. Heck, even a regular Insignia with 2.0 turbo-petrol engines are somewhat bargains compared to other executive cars. Misha is a great driver.
Just love the german accent❤️❤️
the opel corsa opc of that era had bad brakes, crazy to keep them original. I had a clio rs3 with brembo and when I was taking the mountain passes I had problems with overheating, how is it possible a car with roll bars and those bicycle brakes at the nurburgring?
Skill issue
cage, seats, belts, suspension and there you go ;)
Nice video! But the seatbelts seem dangerous (not horizontally placed behind the seat). Cannot see it well but worth looking into.
Wow Misha turn him self from Comunist Boris to german race driver! its like history! the best Russians in Rushan империя are the Germans! amazing! :) the car is amazing ...its one of my dream cars that i never have! amazing!
Sweet owner and cute German accent ❣️😅👌🏼
"Diffirent brakes" what do you mean break calipers or pads? i mean the same brake calipers are golf gti's etc. What brakes or pads do you recommend? i got a GTI. maybe yellowstuff pads? I will isntall a big brake kit but for now im running stock.
Full race prep car… stock brakes 😂
Glad you upgraded them my friend.
this is the way to do Nurburgring - cheap and fun
i was told these engine's wheren't able to be tuned since the piston rings are a weak point? anyways i own a mito QV (same chassis) and they are briliant cars with some small mods. especialy for the price
Poor Marcel was very quiet during the lap. His poor Opel getting trashed by Misha 🙂 Can't recall him saying "send it" before the lap...
Na, if I didnt want it to get driven hard I wouldn’t have gotten in contact with Misha😉
misha picking the camera up in the most dangeour corner ;)
how were the federals? compares to like a ns2r ? im im the market for some budget semi's
I really dislike them tbh. Hard to get heat in them.
@@mgcharoudin same for the ns2r?
OPC POWER 🔵🔵💪💪
Wow I used to have the same but nurburgring edition it's way faster than OPC.
It’s not way faster in a straight line, they only have about 10bhp more. Around the the bends yes as they have LSD and Bilstein suspension
@@GJB21 6.6 sec VS 7.3 sec in the real world its way faster bro, even the gear ratio is shorter.
@@aboodalhussni8933 I’ve raced my mates clubsport and the difference really ain’t that much. The gear ratios are the same, it’s only got an LSD
Small does = Fun. Nice lap. ✌
You down with O.P.C., yeah you know Mi(sha). #fadybynuture thanks for the content Misha! Vauxhall through the Foxhole...🍀💫. Note: nice DASHcam😁
How was the sitting position? From this camera angle it looks like driving a delivery van 🤪
It wasn't low, but I guess the previous owner adjusted it to his liking.
Seeing from the front lip and then space between wheels and arches, the car could be lower to the ground.
@@jankees4037 and then scrape everywhere....
@@jankees4037 Yes but you need suspension travel on the ring.
Apart from upgrade pad brakes, owner could upgrade rear ones with ventilated rotors, besides that, great little car.. Those have an Ecotec engine?
I would guess that the car has more weight on front axle, and when braking weight transfer adds even more on front axle, so you really do not need brakes on rear axle.
The smallest vented rotors you can put on the rear (from another Opel / Vauxhall) are 292mm which would be a touch big on such a short wheelbase car unless the fronts were at least the 330 or 345mm setup with 4/6 piston calipers.
They have a Z16LER 1.6 litre engine.
Misha right hand is going for speed up all the time.. 😅😂
Very fun little cars lol Mine is stock, I kinda wonder is that rollcage actually street legal? I read somewhere we can't register those in Germany..? Also, is it forged or just completely stock internals with a full exhaust system?
You can
@@mgcharoudin Thanks for clearing that up! 🍻
sumart not right wi that spanner light on dash. There notorious for number 4 piston be careful
Always believed that OPCs were great bargain sportscars. Heck, even a regular Insignia with 2.0 turbo-petrol engines are somewhat bargains compared to other executive cars. Turbo petrol Opels back when they were part of GM you could get really great engines, not very reliable ones but pretty powerful for what you would expect.
Soon piston number 4 go by by. It's common problem at corsa opc's.
While there isn't too many comment, can someone please tell me if the Misha's GR Yaris is the one with a Torsen diff (track edition/circuit pack)
It is
Incredible how bad the traction is without LSD :-D
Would love to see you do a lap in an R53
Hey Misha any chance of Vid on 120n🤞👊
lol brake fluid and pads are the first track upgrades
The verdict part of the video needs to be longer
Jesus misha his poor engine and gearbox over revving 😂😂😂
Is anybody going to talk about harnesses on reclining seats? 👀
Where I can buy parts for this engine in Europe?
ngl if i was sitting in the passenger seat as my car's brakes were failing I'd for sure apologize immediately and see if I could get some friendly advice during the lap. you have a captive Misha for like 6 minutes, make the most out of it! I'm sure the experience overall was illuminating and hopefully the owner & car come back stronger than ever 💪
Arnt these supposed to be a bit unreliable in the engine department?
Ive heard a few stories about problems with engines .
The GoPro actually didnt wanted to be used this time haha
You should do more cheaper cars
Brutal over revs
